@AnnaBeth It's been patched up for sure, repainted, and has all the little nooks that a cargo ship should have, since that's what they used it for when they got it. This does make things a lot easier in my search for ships lol.

@AnnaBeth Yoooooo, you think a Consular-Class cruiser might be a bit too much? Having trouble trying to pin down a ship for the twins, and about all I have right now is that it's one big enough to be their home, and that it was fairly old and run down when they acquired it.
@TheUnknowable I'm unsure on this as well, as I think it has been mentioned here and there that Kyber crystals are the lightsaber crystals, but didney is vague on whether or not there are others viable. I've gone ahead and made mention of the Legacy crystals in my CS, but I think it's up to our GM as to whether or not that's alright with the canon of the RP.
I made significant progress while at work, but am still not near done and not comfortable with posting my wip. Can say that I've got the important parts done, such as the shared background and the appearances of both sisters. I'll see about working on the rest tomorrow, but should not that I did decide on making them Jedi Knights.
I would figure that in OOC/CS we would use BBY for ease of reference, while using the setting's calendar IC.

So potentially, or at least they would be a little more inclined to work together with your character and try to keep him out of the Empire's sights. That being said, one or both of the sisters are being hunted because they killed an officer of the Empire a few years back, so probably not the best company :v

@TheUnknowable I would need to look at the specifics of the timeline for sure, but assuming it's close enough they would have been in the order for a short time. They would have some understanding of the force, and lightsaber skills in particular for one of them, though with the sudden lack of masters in the force, an extra hand is always useful :v
@TheUnknowable No, that was a colony world that had been destroyed, they still had their homeworld of Alpheridies all the way through to Yuuzhan Vong in the old EU. There is actually a Miraluka mentioned in canon during the Clone Wars, Prosset Dibs.

@AnnaBeth There's some vague mentions on ships and such from the Old Republic Era actually surviving into the Rebellion era, can't really find anything specific at the moment, but I'm fairly certain that there's probably one or two of those old birds sitting around in scrap yards or still laying where they fell on old battlefield worlds. As for other Old Republic stuff, I'm not quite sure what you mean lol. I do prefer that era, but just because some species or whatever featured in that era doesn't mean they didn't exist in the Rebellion era. Miraluka in particular were having a rough time of it from the Empire, likely reason for my pair to have left the homeworld.
Guess I should have thought this through more. I didn't realize how many people hated the new canon, and the worlds of Star Wars are extremely hard to bring together without having too many rules. We can continue, or we can brainstorm ideas for a plot before we start the RP. Honestly, I'm a little disheartened.
A lot of people are butthurt over didney, don't pay them much mind. A lot of the EU needed a purge, and this way we can more selectively canonize things.
As for the plot, personally I prefer at least something to go on, or at the very least a more defined area of operation if the RP is plot-less. Otherwise it feels like people simply drift and keep to themselves, and I don't think encouraging them to do so is a good idea either. Regardless of whether people like the new canon or not.
I'll see about putting together my character sheets while at work tonight.
