I have a new computer and am dealing with some RL related stuff with it (transfering important files, etc), so I will probably not be able to get any roleplaying done this weekend.

Julian was back in the tavern, wondering if he should go and apologize to her, or just go straight in. He took a sip of his water, watching the room. When Felicia entered, looking at the board, he rolled his eyes. From what everyone said, she was looking for some big score. Which was exactly what he had in mind, and on offer, but well, how was that going to go. Frankly, he was hoping that someone else would end up talking to her about his inquiries, so he wouldn't have to make the approach. He still maintained that she shouldn't have been so bloody nosy up front...

Regardless of that though, the entire situation was now somewhat unhelpfully screwy. Hey, yea, sorry about snapping at you yesterday...but I need your help. yes, that was totally going to help. He rolled his eyes and returned to his breakfast, looking around the room once more. leaving a leading note about a haul could work, but that would be pretty suspicious too....
Julian sat in the tavern that night, deep in thought. Two person jobs, needed two people. Finding a second person, though, was proving to be more difficult than he thought. Everyone he'd talked to hadn't been interested - he'd been vague, giving just an outline of the job, since he wouldn't tell anyone the specifics until they were on board...but everyone had said no. But several had reccomended someone. A certain, very annoying, Half-Elf.

Good Gods, the universe hates me.

(Sorry its short. In a rush IRL, but didn't want to keep you waiting even longer)
You didn't make it difficult - You played her IC, and I played Julian IC. Part of the fun of rping is making that work.

That sounds like a good idea. I'll probably have a post on that tommorrow then. Bit late now.

I hope the Guild starts adding in Email notifications soon :P
Well, Julian just created more problems that he solved.

I'm not 100% sure what to have him actually do (been thinking since I saw your post ~6hours ago). I may get some ideas - have some outlines of one, anyway - but do you have any thoughts on how we can get them back on track to working together?
"Just looking around at the moment." Julian replied. Nosy indeed. "Is there a reason you care? I mean what, are you the official welcoming committee, or just some kind of really nosy person? I mean, nosiness and being a thief don't exactly go together, though they're not completely exclusive. Why does it matter to you what I'm up to? How about I turn the question back on you? What the heck are you up to? Protective of your own job that you're work on? Trust me, I have no interest in whatever small fry you're working on. Or what, are you trying to figure out what I'm up to so you can take my job - you have no chance of doing the job I'm working on, so just give up."
"You're better off finding work somewhere else, Edgebolt." Ziria commented, not looking away from her pegasus. "At least as long as Aventus here is running the show. If you lined up every member of the Greywood Company and searched for the most likely to drive a branch of the company into the dirt, Aventus here would stand out with a red blinking light." Did she need to be so scathing and unhelpful? Not in the least. Did she care? Even less.

Of course, her aggravation - something she always had, surrounded by all these people she could usually only variably stand - only grew when she heard Maria approaching humming a chipper tune. Good gods, why the hell is she so happy all the bleeding time! Hell, for that matter, why was everyone so bloody happy all the damn time? Its not that Ziria was never happy - on the contrary, she could be, when the situation merited it, quite happy - but most of the time she wasn't. Happiness, as it should be, should require exceptional circumstances. Happiness should be no one's baseline, and yet most people she met were either happy or faking it (she could never tell).

"You have absolutely no reason to be happy, so shut up." Ziria called over to the wyvern rider.
"That's the idea, yes." Julian replied to the half-elf that sat down nearby. Perhaps she wasn't an official 'greeter' (as it were), but just nosy. Or maybe she was keeping an eye on him for the Guildmaster. Both were possible, though he didn't think the latter was likely. Possibly just standard policy to keep an eye on visiting thieves - not a bad idea, all said and done, even given that he had a letter of introduction. The guilds may have worked together, largely, but there's no one to rob a thief like another thief. It had happened before, though usually only with thieves unaffiliated with any of the city-based guilds (something that did exist, despite the best efforts of all the guilds).

"Julian Syrus. You?"

Haha, it's not too bad since we've just started, I suppose. Still, we have a bit less people than I was originally counting on, so I might just go look for some more. =w=Also, posted. Ven just doesn't know what he should do with Zee. ;-; And do you mind if we handle this next part in a collab post, Rethel? I'm probably gonna use this to see just how much collaboration will be needed in the RP in general, and if it'd be efficient, timewise.

I'll have a Ziria post up by tommorrow.

Bloody guild not sending Emails on posts. Checking on a regular basis bar emails is not a habit for me yet.
No worries. The guilds lack of emails to subscriptions is throwing me off as much as RL seems to be throwing you off.
Venom, your post confuses me. Are you at the Greywood company's camp outside the town?
