Jon watched as Ky walked away and went upstairs. He turned and walked around until he found the kitchen. Denise mentioned that there were beans in here, so he searched for them. Finally, he saw the can and grabbed it quick. With a pocket blade, he cut it open and silently thanked the stupid universe for canned goods. He meddled and found an old spoon and started on the beans. He realized he hadn't eaten for more than a day until now, so in a few seconds, he was halfway through the can. He left it there unfinished, in case anyone else wants something to eat, and then went near a window where he could see the street.
He thought back to the man from earlier today. He mentioned being in a school, didn't he? The only school that Jon noticed on the area was a little far from here. That was good, since he did not want to cross paths with that man again, and he barely a vengeful person. If they're going to leave this house, he should advise his companions to stay away from the school, but he wasn't going to tell Denise about crazy men running around the place. He sighed and sat on the floor in front of the door, with his revolver in his hand and the machete by his side. He'd rather take watch now, since he didn't like the thought of not being able to keep two people safe.
