Name:
Valerie Peterson

Age:
17

Appearance

Year of Education:
11

Favourite Subject:
Mathematics

Personality:
Valerie is both organised and self-motivated. She is opinionated, quick to question - she tries at school, but is certainly no natural genius - and has a strong inner sense of justice. She is optimistic, with a quick, quirky sense of humour. She would not consider herself to be shy but is emotionally reserved and whenever an emotional situation arises, she prefers to brush it under the carpet with a short, nervous laugh.
She has a rather black-and-white view on the world and finds it hard to accept things that don't have a definitive answer.

Background:
Valerie is not one to elaborate on her home life.
Her parents are fairly wealthy and she has three elder brothers and two older sisters, all of whom were high achievers - it all looks good...on paper. She has learnt to live in their shadows and content herself with her slightly-above-average grades.

Significant Relationships with any other Characters:
Not currently

Other:
Although not overly sporty, she does like jogging - it calms her mind and helps her think, when she becomes overwhelmed.
....room for another?! Interesting concept....

Name:
Christy Whitaker

Age:
24

Personality:
Christa is ordered and efficient; a self-confessed perfectionist. She is very committed to her work (and academia) but also harbours a sharp, sarcastic sense of humour, when her mind begins to wander. She is not an overly-emotional person, preferring to mask any emotions with quick, brusque remarks that swiftly brush the matter under the carpet but has strong sense of loyalty and a black-and-white sense of right and wrong.

Bio:
Christa was born and raised in Southern England, to wealthy parents, who claim to be of distant (and questionable) relation to the British royal family. She attended Oxford University (her subject of choice being engineering) and she recently became interested in the slightly more wacky and unorthodox, in retaliation to her parents, who were initially annoyed that she didn't follow in the footsteps of her four elder brothers and sisters to become a doctor - in all honesty, she doesn't like the sight of blood but she would never admit that to her family. Neither her mother nor father could be described as the empathetic type. Christa heard through her work colleagues of a group of individuals who had travelled to London in pursuit of the secret to time travel and decided to offer her services, as an assisting engineer and found herself in a situation she'd never anticipated...

Appearance:
Christa is fairly tall, with light brown, curly hair styled in a neat, shoulder length bob. She is of fair complexion, with a smattering of freckles and her eyes are a pale, icy blue. Her typical attire is both understated and practical for the task at hand and she normally wears a thoughtful, reserved expression.

Hope it's okay that I made my character British - play what you know, and all that!
I'd been interested in this, if you're still okay with another person joining!
I am interested in this
I'm interested in the medieval one...I'll shoot you a PM!
Greetings Fellow Earthlings...

I am Andromeda, hailing from the UK. My roleplaying experience spans back over a few years and several websites, though I must admit that I have fallen out of practice recently. My expertise lies primarily in science and maths, but writing is a hobby that I like to retreat to in-order to add a creative balance to my life. I particularly enjoy the challenge and stimulation of writing, not only for myself, but in response to others.

My favourite genres include science fictional (naturally), paranormal and fantastical plots and setting but I am certainly not limited to these. I am always open to broadening my horizons to any kind of genre and appreciate the challenge of tackling a variety of themed roleplays. I feel romance - when incorporated into the plot - can add an extra dimension to roleplays but I do not tend to join RPs that are exclusively focused on it.

Dependent on the fandom, I am also very much partial to RPs based on books, films and TV shows (the list would be too long to type out here!), especially when an original twist is added. I very much appreciate inventive plot-twists.

In particular, I prize good grammar, creative plots and consistent post-ers.

Hope to be RP-ing with some of y'all soon!
