STORYLINE:
In the city of Akane, Japan.

Several incidents had been reported where people claim to have gotten ready for bed, fallen asleep, and then found themselves being hand cuffed in the back of a police car covered in blood. They claim to have seen buildings and monsters in their dreams. None of them the same. But all claim to have nothing to do with finding themselves being arrested. The mental institution is receiving the criminals.

These people were found in stores, libraries, any public space, trying to rip people apart, killing with abandon. The only thing that seems to connect between them and the only thing the witnesses that lived can say about them are the fact they have a red glow to their eyes. The hospital has given conflicting reports to the police on the patients they have sent over from the, what they have named, the Death Walker Syndrome.

Patients seem entirely coherent, sane, and normal during their waking hours. The doctors have found once the patient is sedated or falls asleep naturally, they awake with eyes aflame and angry. They try to kill anyone near them. They have to be locked away when they sleep. The doctor's claim that something must be possessing their minds some chemical may be off in their brain but no one can figure it out. They can only try tests, experiments to try and fix whatever has gone wrong.

The Kirijo Group is investigating into these incidents, seeing things like this before and sending two people from their team. Fuuka Yamagishi and Akihiko Sanada to the city to see if shadows could the the cause of the problems. They find, interestingly enough, that it is attached to shadows. Shadows are attaching themselves to the body and taking control of them to destroy the humans.

With their investigation under way, the pair has found that there is a small group of people that have the potential to sever the ties between the shadows and the human bodies. They enter the dream of others, finding the shadow and their real self inside and severing the ties between the pair. Several of them they have found in a college campus and round up what they can. They cannot enter the dreams themselves, but they set about helping those who can figure out how to fix this.

This will be the group heading into a single member's dreams and severing ties to start with. Every time someone new joins we will do this. This will be college setting, not everyone has to be a college student. You can be a teacher, a high school student. But it will be in a college dorm to start this off with and bring the first group together. The only character's you will see from other Persona games will be Fuuka and Akihiko who will not be able to help you guys fight but will be there in the waking world to help figure out who the person is dragging people into the dream world to become Death Walkers.

Other story things you might want to know. There will be no calendar and no social links. The former might kill an RP and the latter DEFINITELY can kill an RP! But hanging out and talking with your fellow members is a good idea. Getting to know them so you can trust one another when you are in the dreaming world.

You only get the one Arcana, you have one starting persona when you start dreaming if you aren't in your own mind. When you sever the ties with your shadow the Persona will evolve to the second tier soon after wards. (You won't get the change right away, but you will have the evolved persona soon afterwords)

The entire goal of the RP will be to find out who is dragging people into this dream world and how to sever the ties between them and the dream world. So investigation will be a must and character interactions!

Kind of posting/the rules I expect people to follow:
No Godmoding, No flaming of the idea, keep it at least PG13ish please. No excessive swearing or gore or intimate scenes. No arguing with one another and if there is settle it with yourselves because if I have to get involved--I really don't want to have to get involved. This will be a fairly free ranged Roleplay, do whatever you want/need in your waking hours and once you sleep everyone will be dumped in the same place. You will not dream every night, but you will get the dreams when the plot demands!
I will have a character so I wont just be running NPCs.
I would like at least a post every week or two. Decent length. No one-liners. I would love at least 2 paragraphs from people. If you are going to be gone for more than 2 weeks we will move on without you if you don't let me know.
I'm a really easy going, relaxed person. If you have a question ask me, we'll see what we can do!

This topic right now is to just see if I have enough interest to keep refining my plot or if I should give it up lol.

Thanks for reading, let me know below if you'd be interested in playing or if you have questions.
That'd be interesting, PM me?
PM me is fine :D
Bump
Got really busy sorry, thank you for reminding me! I actually really like your last post and meant to post sooner ><
Zelda's stomach churned as the shade spoke, she had no choice yes, but how he spoke worried her. She had mildly hoped to talk him out of taking everything over. But at this point, she was not so sure. As they slowed to a stop, she was surprised when he helped her down. Looking up at him, she tilted her head. "We had no choice as you elegantly put." Moving she grabbed her bag from the back of the horse, preparing to make camp. "I was a fool to send the Hero of Time back. I thought that once sealed Ganon would stay as such."

She sighed, lowering the bag to the ground and riffling through it's contents for her water skin. Kneeling down, she sipped at the water, having rode for most of the day she was worn out. Since the kingdom was at peace, she had done little riding and was not use to it anymore. Though, she made sure to keep her skills with swords sharp in case of other invasions, she never guessed that the Dark Lord would be breaking free.

"As to once this journey is over, I pray that my judgement is not terrible." Lowering the water skin, she lifted it offering it to the shade. "Fire or no?" She asked, "If we are stopping for the night, we should keep our energy up." Zelda looked up at him, attempting to at least study his face, it was eerily so alike the Hero's face. it was unnerving to be looking up at him from time to time because she just remembered his face when she sent him back through time. The serene look that he would actually be at peace. That peace however did not last long for her.
No worries, thanks for the post!
Sorry that took so long, I hope you like the post. I think it'd be prudent for him to head to the capitol and see the room and maybe figure stuff out by talking to city folk :3
Layla jumped, glancing down the tree at the man, she leaned forward slightly and squinted down at him. "If you are Link, then yes I am." She stepped out, to climb down the ladder, gripping the letter in her hands, she scaled the ladder easily. "She said you lived in a tree. I did not quite believe her." She laughed, when she landed on the bottom turning and looking at him. "Hello Hero of Hyrule." Turning and bowing towards him, she straightened and pulled the letter out towards him.

"Um. This is for you, Her Majesty sent me with this urgent letter for you. Took much longer to get here than I imagined from the capitol though." She waited for him to take it before lowering her arms. "I am also suppose to accompany you if you don't mind. They have little need for me up in the capitol and if what I heard through the -- " She paused, clamping her hand over her mouth. "I wasn't suppose to listen to it, but I couldn't help myself-- I was standing waiting for the letter and I want to help."

The letter in his hands read:

Dearest Link,

I hope this letter finds you well, unfortunately it will be the opposite for myself. I will just tell you the point of this without writing needless pleasantries. I need your help, my child is gone, kidnapped in the night. We do not know anything and cannot find him.

I would ask for your help in this dire strait. Come to the capitol with Layla, and you can help us I hope. I miss my son.

Sincerely yours,
Zelda
The next few days after the council meeting flew by Zelda, answering questions from concerned council members, packing her things and over all preparing for the trials that were to come. She decided to leave it up to the dark shade where they would be heading first, she did not rightly care, there were seven sages that needed their help and whatever order they did them in was no matter.

As she packed, she dressed in a loose fitted tunic with a belt strapped around her waist holstering two short swords. She concealed daggers in her boots and pulled her hair up and out of her face. The servants confessed they barely recognized her after she dressed and took her bag.

Once outside, she locked eyes with Nova, as he pulled himself up. Looking at his hand, she was begrudged to take it, but pulled herself up behind him. Nodding to the council members and members of the castle that came to see them off. She waved to them as they started towards the town gates. The Kokiri Forest and the Deku tree. The journey would take them all day and part of the night to arrive at the forest.

The ride was grueling for the Princess, having to sit behind the shade, her arms loose around him but tensed every time that some move was made that she might fall off. She did not want to be touching him, but she could not fall off the horse. She concentrated on the road ahead of them and kept an eye out for the monsters. The ride could have been nothing but silence but curiosity got the better of her.

"Why did you come to us?" She asked, "Why did you not just what for the destruction and stop it yourself?"
