Furthermore upon further reflection an airship can have multiple mechanics. Choose what faction fits best for you. All other positions unfilled will be supplicated by NPC's. Therefore you can be anything so long as it is not an already filled captain first mate, bosun or quartermaster position.

It seems most players are interested in there being a gender bias stigma. I'm fine with that.

I don't think there should be two mechanics on one ship, is it ok if I switch to the pirate or navy faction?

It is fine. However being the first mechanic you do have dibs on which faction you would prefer.

If you guys could generate interest that would be wonderful. I would like this to be a relatively large RP, (Taking place in 6 PM subforums and 1 Main with approximately 30 players.) So please feel free to spread the word. I am trying to generate interest in multiple interest checks but currently I am in conversation with Mahz and HeySeuss about whether or not its okay in this case. Right now any interest generation would be awesome.

I agree, a system with tags for classification would be useful... Is it still a concern for me to try and generate interest in Check Forums outside of my RP's technical classification? I only chose to put in casual because it doesn't really fit any of the classification parameters. I know there is a general interest check forum for things that are hard to classify but I feel like then it won't reach my target audience and might affect the quality of the RP.

Currently all CS are accepted with the exception of @WilsonTurner. It is a good CS but the weapon does need to be changed. Revolvers were not invented until the late eighteen hundreds.
