ROFL I love how I'm being married off already, yet I haven't even introduced myself in town yet. Super exciting! but I'm sure there is enough of me to go around ... I hope :p
lol yes, sort of a MacGuffin locket, that is awesome. I mean, it could be, in the future. Who knows? And I'll definitely get it up there :) Thank you so much.
ultimately, she's traveled for years, looking for something to keep her stationary. Looking for a home, looking to fit in, people to accept her. She won't admit it, and she needs coin to eat, so she goes where the work is.
hehe ok,

1. So her frame is just that, and it merely suggests, her upper body built or not, that she is bigger on the bottom than she is on top. No matter how much she works out, it's just the way her body is built. She is petite, not big boned, not chuncky, small chested, but basically saying that she's got the hourglass figure and a big booty. That being said, she might do better as a human race than a half-elf, but originally I was thinking that her human traits gave her that, but let me know what you think on that end. Also, this build was originally for an archer, but seeing as that many characters here were expert marksmen hehe, I figured I'd go the less traveled route.

2. I figure 100 silver coins to be fair

3. A few days to a weeks worth of rations

4. I was going to say a small pot, and a smaller bowl, but lets do away with the cooking kit for now.

5. I had originally just generalized the Isles as a far off land. She's been traveling for about 8? years Would say that it's about a weeks voyage out from the nearest port town.

6. Jules has more of a low key, quiet, I just do what has to be done type of personality. As a youth, she was definitely more rambunctious, got into trouble a lot, what the guild did was teach her how to survive. How to keep her mouth shut when she needed to be and that if she was going to do something like pick pocket someone, how to do it without getting caught. The mercenary group had ties to all over, and their fingers in a lot of pies. I wouldn't say the group is nearly as large or organized as the Second Sons, I would think of them more like a rowdy group of people like Bronn from Game of Thrones. That being said, they were more or less a group of thugs that would do things for coin (escorts, intel gathering, sword for hire)

7. She doesn't have any further association or ties to the group or her home since she left. Her past being a candle in the wind.

8. Edmund was the closest thing she had to family. And when he died, she was lost. She was never so interested in finding her family that it became her mission. Even when she left the isles, it was more or less "well, I have no where else to go, lets see how this pans out" she figured she might as well give it a shot. With the locket she took from the man claiming to be her uncle as her only lead on them, she pressed on. She followed the lead to a community where she was not met with friendly faces or loving embraces. They called her a fiend, a hoax, a fraud and ran her out of town. She has no true lead, but what the locket represents was that one of her parents was high born. It would be a lingering thought in the back of her mind to find them, but certainly not one that she's come to terms with yet. And after her life being threatened, I think she's more content to just be on her way. She keeps the locket on her, and if anyone were to ask, she'd just say because its pretty.

I hope that answers everything, and I hope it's alright. If anything needs more clarification or if you want me to change something just let me know :) Thanks
so should I pm my cs to anyone in particular? I feel like we're talking in code :p

anywho Reading over everything already submitted, I think you guys are amazing and whats been written so far is awesome. I'm a bit new to the guild, but I think this may be a good fit for me, if you all would have me
A friend of mine irl, he knew I was into dnd, and I was looking into larping. His buddies were getting together a campaign for vtm, so he invited me to join.
Name: Julia Ferdant

Race: Half-Elf

Age: 26 (in human years)

Gender: Female

Appearance:
Firey red hair that whips around her face in the wind. When worn down, long layers frame her face nicely and extend to the middle of her back. Her eyes stare into your soul; big, pale blue swirls that they are, entice your gaze. Freckles scatter lightly across her nose. Julia is 5'6" in height. A petite upper frame, sitting upon wider hips and amazon thighs. A large tattoo stretches over the back of her shoulders and and down her back, seeming to cover old and faded scars. The tattoo is of a tree, its red leaves falling gracefully.

Her hair is usually kept tied back loosely in a braid, wisps of bangs falling over her forehead. Julia usually dresses for practicality and comfort rather than show. Traveling boots, worn and dirty extend just past her shins. Loose fitting pants equipped with pockets, pockets everywhere. She wears a dark blue silk shirt, fitted to her form, with a broad collar line. Leathers and silks are her best friends, her outfits normally interchanging within these fabrics. No matter what she wears though, it is obvious, blue is her favorite color. She doesn’t fancy herself much in jewelry, but a small locket dangles on a silver chain around her neck.

Weapons:
Julia carries a great sword strapped to her back, the thing is nearly the size of her from pommel to tip. A few other tools and oddities line her belt, and a dagger is tucked within her boot.

Skills:
She doesn’t carry the sword very well, you can tell it wasn’t made for her, nor has she ever had official training with it. But she swings it with a fierce energy. Seemingly used to the weight it bears, her form and skill is between intermediate and expert use. Something tells you she’s been walking around with this burden for a long time. Despite carrying such a large sword, she is quite fast. No wonder she doesn’t carry much else.

She has been known to pick a lock or two, but she isn’t the greatest. Either way, she has the tools equipped to do so.

Being light on her feet she is very good at hiding and moving quietly.

She isn’t versed well in languages, but tracks are something she can read well.

Magic:
She is not versed in magic at all and tries to stay away from it.

Inventory:
In her many pockets, she carries:
a weeks worth of travel rations,
a leather pouch carrying about 50 silver coins
a flask
a notebook and travel inkpen
a few light bandages

On her belt she carries:
lockpicking tools

Backstory:
Julia is an orphan, hailing from a group of islands that form a roughly circular archipelago. In some circles, it is known as the Moonshae Isles. She was raised by humans, in a Temple to the goodly gods of the realm, though her behavior left much to be desired by the Paladins and Priests who often practiced there. She was a half-blood, and therefore shunned by most who lived in the area. Neither proud nor hateful of what she was, she made do where she could, being a misfit of sorts, and always finding trouble somehow. She left the Temple at the age of 16 and ran away to join a mercenary guild. They taught her all sorts of things, though mostly honed her survival skills, picking pockets when she could get away with it, though taking only what she needed. There, she found family, there, she found love. A boy by the name of Edmund. Strong, yet sensitive. He weilded a large great sword and was within high ranks in the guild. The story of her heritage never interested her, until one fateful day.

She got word that a man came to the Temple looking for a half-elf orphaned child. The man was a thief and a scoundrel, but what a tale did he spin. He was supposed to be the girl’s uncle, and had her mother’s locket to prove his kinship. Now a woman of 18 years old, she felt she had no need for frivolous drunkards claiming to be kin. Especially one that would come, only to fill his pockets with the prized coin of returning a missing heiress to the Elven world. She met with him to hear his story, Edmund hid in the shadows. During their conversation, the man dismissed her doubts and concerns, her attachment to her current life and her relations with Edmund and only insisted that she come with him. She didn’t like the way he was talking to her, the way he looked at her, and she certainly didn’t want to leave all that she had behind. The conversation was quickly turning sour, and Julia wanted nothing more than to leave. She glanced around the room, looking to the shadows hoping she would catch a glimpse of Edmund, seeing him would give her some sort of security, some measure of relief. Noticing her far off gaze, the man grabbed her wrist, hoping to lead her out of the room and set off for their journey. Julia quickly returned her attentions to him, trying to wriggle out of this grasp, but to no avail. Edmund appeared, his large sword drawn towards the man.

“You will not be taking her anywhere, sir, and if you try, I promise you will not leave here alive.”, he growled at the man.

“She is my blood, -my- family, and I am taking her back to where she belongs. So you best be on your way, little boy.”, the man returned, his face contorting into a fierce stare, his beady eyes piercing Edmund like daggers.

And with that, their duel began. The man was certainly more experienced, but in his intoxicated stupor, he was sloppy. Their swords clashed, and the room shook. Edmund nearly had him down, but just then, the man pulled a dagger from a concealed pocket within this cloak and thrust it into Edmunds chest. Staggering back, the man raised a hand to put pressure over his own wounds, “I told you to be on your way”, he snickered, his gaze fixed on Edmund. Julia shrieked, rushing to Edmunds side as he slowly fell to the floor, his sword dropping beside them. “I told you I would not leave with you!”, she screamed. She quickly reached for his sword and lunged at the man. Anger and hatred seeped from her words. “He promised you would not leave here alive, and we keep our words around here.”

Edmund received a proper burial, a memorial was held by the guild. She tried to stay and keep to herself for the next few years. But there was a large hole in her heart, and without Edmund, she needed to move on from the isles.

She spent the next few years traveling. She even went in search for her real family. A task that proved nearly fatal and eventually set her back on the path of a wanderer, a sell sword. Eventually Julia found herself on the road to Estermere, where her journey now continues.
Was just curious if you're still accepting new pc's. I'd love to make up a cs
My name is Annalynne, friends call me Anna. New to the guild, but have been role playing for a while. Played Neverwinter Nights for about 6 years, so I have forgotten realms lore a bit ingrained, but I am always looking to branch out. That being said, fantasy is one of my favorite genres. I've also embarked on a Vampire the Masquerade campaign with a few friends. I've been the goodie goodie, or the sassy spy, dangling on the line of right and wrong, but for the most part, I'm really just looking to have fun, get creative, meet new people and create some amazing stories. 30 years old from New York, a full time job often takes up my time, and I work nights so my availability might be odd and random. Any questions, just ask :)
