Coming soon...
That's such a sad scene. :'(

Maybe Zachary could stumble across it while running from his new-found zombie friend?
Name: Ilari Evpraksiyi

Species: Dirophyds

Height: Six foot.

Age: 30

Gender: Male

Appearance: Ilari is muscular after years of training rigorously and following a strict routine. The bone-like structure on the left side of his head has a thin, zig-zagging crack running through the middle of it. His green, glowing eyes appear more of a lighter colour that most of his fellow race.

Equipment: Ilari's armour looks like this, although with a few cracks and burn marks on it. There is a holster on the left hip that holds a Meeko machine pistol. On a strap around his back, there is a Loop Ion rifle. A knife holster on the left pectoral of the armour houses a simple combat knife. The armour has usual wear and tear marks all over it.

Skills/Abilities: Ilari is good with the weapons he owns and is also trained in unarmed combat. He claims to have never missed a shot. He isn't level-headed like the other members of his race and is known to resort to violence at any given moment. Ilari can easily use his large frame to knock down doors and other objects that might be in his way, including other people, even though he started messing around with picking locks in his teenage years.

Background: Ilari Evpraksiyi was born to a father who was a member of the Special operations corps and a mother who sadly passed away when he was born. Ilari went through childhood with no problems, knowing what he wanted to be when he became an adult. He wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and make him proud. Ilari started working out so he could impress more and look more intimidating as he grew up. He stayed away from trouble though, preferring to stay home and work out or read or spend time with his father, hearing about his war stories.

As Ilari hit his teenage years, he started experimenting with picking locks as he thought it could be some kind of a usable skill in his life. He was under the impression that if he ended up joining the Special operations corps, he could help get open doors for his group. After practising for a few hours a day, he took his father's gun outside and pretended he was out on some kind of special mission on some kind of unexplored planet that house some kind of threat to his race. Ilari did this when his father wasn't home though, for fear of being caught.

One day though, Ilari's father came home early and caught him outside with his gun. Ilari hadn't told his father that he wanted to join the Special operations corps, but his father realised this and took Ilari to get signed up. He was excited he could actually get to fire a gun and found out he was actually pretty good at it. All the hours he put into practising picking locks also helped him get further. Ilari finally got into the Corps and was deployed on many missions where he acted well and managed to not screw up any of the assignments he was put onto. This helped him gain a reputation within the Corps and military.
Thanks!

I almost feel bad doing my post right in the middle of the scene haha.
Zachary drove along the empty road in his father's old, beat up, rustbucket of a car. He'd managed to swipe some measly supplies that consisted of a pack of chips and a couple of bottles of water. They sat in a backpack in the passenger seat. Resting next to the bag was his baseball bat that had some dried blood stuck to it. Zachary had to put down a few of the infected before he could safely get away from his home. He got out of his house after discovering both his parents had succumbed to the disease and knew it was only a matter of time before they reanimated into walkers and came for him. The only thing he had to remember them by was his father's pistol, which lay on the car's dashboard, right infront of Zachary. He'd managed to grab one spare clip of ammunition before the infected started coming for him.

He switched on the radio, hoping for news of some kind of safe zone, but it was to no avail. The only thing that played on all stations was the government announcement that repeated constantly, even though the voice of the announcer was probably long dead. "Please remain indoors. Barricade all entrances to your home. Secure available food, water and, if possible, a firearm. Avoid contact with the infected at all costs." As the man said 'firearms', Zachary grinned and cast a glance at his own. It made him feel safer knowing it was there although he would have been more happy with some sort of automatic weapon. But in these times, beggars couldn't be choosers. Zachary switched off the radio after the message repeated for the third time.

A lone walker shuffled in a field that Zachary passed. He looked, intrigued at what the infected do when there isn't a meal around. It took too much of his attention though, as he didn't notice the fuel meter tick over into empty. The car slowed down and came to a stop in the middle of nowhere. Zachary couldn't believe it. He tried turning the engine back on but it just grunted, made a loud, grinding noise and died again. He cursed under his breath and knew he had to continue on foot. Zachary gathered up his supplies with his backpack on his shoulder, his baseball bat in his left hand and his pistol in his waistband. He lightly rested his head on the door and swore loudly. That was when he heard the growling noise on his right.

Zachary jumped out of his skin at the noise and tripped over. The walker he'd seen in the field had caught up to him. "Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit," Zachary repeated over and over, fearing that it's his last day. "Not now, please!" He shakily stumbled to his feet and readied his bat, staring at the oncoming opponent. It was missing it's left cheek and it's teeth were visible through it's face. One of it's eyeballs was hanging out of it's socket and resting on it's grey-green, decaying skin. Zachary took a deep breath and swung as hard as he could at the walker. The tip of the bat connected with the thing's cheekbone and it fell onto the car and onto the floor, but it wasn't dead. Not by a long shot. Zachary took his chance though. He grabbed his belongings and ran in the opposite direction to the walker, fearing more might have heard him and would be on their way.
Name: Zachary Ince

Age: 21

Appearance:

Gender: Male

Family: Carl Ince (father, deceased)
Louise Ince (mother, deceased)
Michael Ince (brother, unknown)

Personality: Zachary is a nice guy who goes out of his way to help people, be it helping an elderly person cross the street to a child who had fallen over and scraped their knee. He is a huge baseball fan and also plays guitar in his friend's band. Zachary stands up for what he believes in and isn't afraid to throw fists if it comes to it, but prefers to resolve his battles with words rather than violence.

Bio: Zachary was born in London, England, in a middle class home. Straight after he was born, the family moved to Los Angeles. He did well in school and made various friends who eventually became his bandmates. They practised in Jeremy's, the vocalist, garage almost every day until late in the night. Zachary also took up baseball along with the drummer of the band, Anthony. They joined their local team but didn't take the sport too seriously. The two just did it for a hobby other than band. After the four band members left for college, it sort of fell apart. Zachary and Anthony remained in Los Angeles whereas Jeremy and the bassist left for other colleges in other states. A couple of years into college though, the outbreak hit. It started off as a minor disease and nobody paid attention to it. That was the problem. It spread from person to person before finally being labelled deadly. People began dying and reanimating left, right and centre, including Anthony. They were in class when it happened. The teacher suddenly collapsed before awaking and feasting on his students. Zachary leapt through the window to be met with more chaos. He sprinted home to find his parents had also succumbed to the disease. He shed a tear before arming himself with a baseball bat and his father's 9mm pistol. Zachary then took his father's car keys and drove as far as he could before running out of gas.

Job Before The Outbreak: College student

Disability/Fear: Claustrophobic.

Weapon of Choice: 9mm pistol with an extra clip and a baseball bat.
Thanks for the welcomes! :)
Name: Leon Pendanski

Age: 23

Nationality: Polish-American

Occupation (pre-outbreak): Police officer

Appearance: Leon has short, brown hair that is almost always spiked up. He has light, tanned skin that match his blue eyes perfectly. Leon has a sleeve tattoo of various different symbols on his left arm and also has his left ear pierced with a small, silver stud. He is a muscular male and proud of it. There is a scar down his right shin from where a criminal slashed at him with a blade. Leon is normally seen wearing his Miami Police Department uniform.

Personality: Leon is a bit of a loner because he watched his close friends be devoured before his eyes in the initial stages of the outbreak. He learned not to get attached to people for fear of them ending up with the same fate as his former companions. In his spare time, he works out or reads whatever books he managed to salvage from his apartment before having to evacuate.

History: Leon was born in Florida and spent most of his time surfing on the beach with friends. He spent almost all his free time out the house with friends or family. At fourteen years old, Leon decided he wanted to become a police officer and started going to the gym. He did well in school and made sure he never got in trouble with the law. At nineteen, Leon moved out of the family household to a nice apartment just outside Miami and joined the Miami Police Department. After a year of serving, the outbreak hit Florida and all the cities and towns inside it. Of course there was panic and the police just couldn't handle the rioters and looters that came in abundance. They instead let them run amok and set up evacuation outposts on the outskirts of all major cities for the citizens who wanted to just get away. Problem was that they also became packed and a breeding ground for infected. People who had been bit turned and walkers arrived by the hundreds, devouring anybody unlucky enough to be in their path. Leon was stationed at one such outpost and, after seeing staying behind and fighting was a lost cause, stole a police car and drove as fast as he could, he just wanted to get away from the chaos.

Useful Skills: Good with a gun and has basic medical training.

Inventory: One 9mm pistol
Two ammo magazines
One pair of handcuffs
One baton
Two bottles of water
