Huh, I've never tried that. Appearance is usually an- I don't want to make it sound like I neglect it but- afterthought. I think I tend to imagine arcs or plots or schemes or scenes and make a set of abilities that can do that, then work back to find a (hopefully believable and interesting) personality and to an extent background needed to get those, while at the same time looking at what else they would do.
I am starting to doubt that this site classes as functional -.-
Yeah, when I make a character, I tend to have a general idea of how I want them to operate, like say in a superhero game I might think of the character as someone who uses their powers and skills to infiltrate organised crime rings, get to a powerful position and coordinate with INTERPOL or whoever to perform an organisation-wide sting trap. I might have the concept of them doing that specifically, and then grow the character out by thinking what else someone who could do that could and would do. This means that I really enjoy making the posts about doing that and writing the parts of the CS about that and about how the character survives, lives and has fun outside of that. But the back story... Ehh, never really liked that, so it probably sounds very dry and cause and effect.

Have you sent that in to Aeon via PM? I don't think anyone else has posted their CS here, though if you are fine with people knowing that much about your character, sure. But you do need to send it in.

We got at least two people set up to be non-combat, a healer and a glassmaker, so at the worst, if the noble is a merc too, that's only 5/7 );
Guessing some of the character sheets need to be approved before we can start? No rush, just checking you weren't actually thinking 'why have none of them posted yet'.

I guess I'm being so vague because people knowing my character's name, appearance, job and location is about enough, there is a lot I want to keep secret for as long as possible, and like all plans, his will start of fragile and close to the edge.
I have very vague goals, things I want to have, and a range of specific courses of action that would achieve give my character these things in varying extents.

My character is a bounty hunter xD
I'm picturing them circling around the island chasing each other, always on opposite sides and going along the coasts, after they both got a bounty for the other.
