It's happening again. I have been visited by a soviet mad scientist, a king, a penguin prince of darkness, a house plant god thing, a mystical ancient member, a tired reaper (thank god) + a greeting.

i'm 2 1 bro

grow up lol

@PrinceAlexus I need to see the original post to make an estimate as to 'how obvious' it is but from what I can see, you can quote GM post and 'see' the hidden portion easily.

bro this is a feature in most ~~~free~~~ forum setups. rpg doesn't need any of that free crap. RPG is like the home made hand-milled coffee that tastes like shit but 'you have to appreciate the flavor' because it's artisan handmade coffee.

I think the more annoying one is when people pass off 'limits' as 'weaknesses'

`my character can't use this technique for more than 2 seconds`

y-yeah that's a limitation on it's use but how do i surpass the technique or overpower i-

`he has to stay in his place for 2 whole minutes to channel it first`

y-yeah but how do i bloc-

`it drains a lot of his stamina`

>the ability will completely blow up you, your faction, your girlfriend, your life's work, and render you completely incapacitated in the afterlife
>on the bright side, he got a nosebleed, took 2 hours to cast it from the top of some mountain, and went in a coma for three years
>fuck you, respect my limitations
Seemed appropriate-
you must first slap him upside the head twenty times at the correct angle with a newborn elven baby from another universe before he is vulnerable to the correct pitch of Jar Jar Binks screaming
What people try to do for weaknesses on a CS

Wha? We're still here?

I'd like to believe it was sarcasm. But hell if I know anymore.

Half and half? I like to think the 'not read' part was some figure of speech/joke/something beyond my questionable sense of humor. But if you come to write and not read, you're not a roleplayer, you're a writer, and this site is no longer suitable :p

Why do I think the unquoted part 2 of the above was a dig. I can see the dirt from here, ya know.
^ I lost brain cells. Strange, I thought I didn't have more to lose, but that gouged up some ancient ones down there.

Fucking degenerate. But that platform might've been Forumotion, idk, that's the forum builder I used.

If I feel like it, I might give it a look with an offline phpbb setup. Someday.

I don't think being informed of unread posts when you're about to post is industry standard, but RPG is definitely starting to show its age. Unfortunately, Mahz is clearly too busy to be implementing major features right now, and I doubt we'll be getting a second coder anytime soon.

This is integrated into some popular platforms.

Planetminecraft had it before the forums ended up looking pretty shitty and were a customized form of some big platform. Alas, I don't remember what it is. Might have been phpbb. Either way, it's not an excessively rare thing to come across.

Yeah. God damn did that forum builder have some really neat stuff that RPG could do with having.

Probably one of quite a few features that are more or less industry standard, yet missing due to Mahz building this one and making the integration from scratch.
