Bio

I am the most nonsensical and weird person ever. I update like a maniac, read romantic fanfiction about video game characters, have an fanatical obsession with checking my email, create random characters that I never use for anything and sometimes wish that I had an alternate universe wand/portal thing so that I could meet my favorite characters from stories. I also discovered that the post by post forum thing works really well for my favorite kind of stories, medieval fantasy (i swear, one day, when I am rich and famous, I am going to get a scientist to invent edible medieval fantasy and fill an entire swimming pool with it so i can literally drown in it)

Likely interested! Just a couple of questions. The emergence of technology overshadowed magic, but this is a medieval fantasy RP, so to what extent did technology evolve? Steam-powered contraptions? Gunpowder? Also, what's the power of magic in this world? I imagine it's mostly forgotten and kept secret, but if taken to its extreme, what could it do?
It's at the point where it's still medieval but it's getting close to a quasi victorian era. Also, for magic, there are still magical creatures but they exist in hiding. Theres are still dragons and fae folk (fairies). For the extreme, i'm going to steal the rules of magic for this one, no love, reviving the dead (there can be undead but no complete revival) and no time travel. Anything else is a possibility.
It's should be a kind of team up scenario with lots of adventure but also a little bit of free roam. I can't be too certain since this hasn't been set up completely. When i'm doing projects like these, i tend to just go with the flow.
Here's my character! Name: Ronin "Roni" "Ro" Zephyr Race: Human Looks: Dark red long straight hair. Preferred styles are high ponytail, braids or loose. Her eyes are narrow and light golden brown. She is slightly curvy and tall. She has a faint scar going from the end of her left eyebrow to her ear. For clothes, she usually wears grungy clothes or an apron. She prefers a tunic with the sleeves cut off or a brown leather jacket. She wears breeches instead of skirts most of the time. She has a tattoo of a light blue rose on her left arm. She also has bright green hoop earrings and sometimes wears a sunhat with a short brim and a red ribbon or a dark blue bandanna (either on her head or around her neck). Personality: Ronin is mysterious. No one seems to know much about her. All they know is that she works as a scribe for the official palace historian of Vecafan and is an inventor on the side. She maintains a casual and often rugged appearance, offering advice and fixing things for people. She also has a sarcastic side and can be very egotistic. Other people are often deterred by her unwomanly attitude but they don't say this to her face (probably because she'd either flip them off or pull out some sort of sharp tool) Backstory: to be revealed Skills/strengths: mechanical skills, fighting, sarcasm, threats, running, climbling, strategy, cooking, lying and stealthy stuff. Weaknesses: she has a fear of heights and wolves. She sucks at archery and any long range weapon. She is also reckless and too impulsive at times. Fighting style: Ronin has a weapon she invented, a retractable spear. It's like a really thick dagger with a catch that unlatches and the spear shaft unfolds until the dagger part turns into the spear tip. Special items: asides from the spear, nothing super special. Enemies: too many to count. Allies: none yet. Magic (if any): she lacks magic. Other: i'll get to this later.
Welcome to the land of Imegana (ih-meh-jah-nah) This is a land of mystery, magic, intrigue and adventure. Once, long ago, the land was a benevolent place filled with wild and mysterious magics. Sadly, with technological advancement, the ancient magics are beginning to die out (it's even outlawed in some places so watch your tail!) This land has begun to fill with corruption and domineering leaders who would do anything to keep power and tear down the uprisings that are rumored to be on the Horizon. Heidif: the largest and most domineering of all the nations. It lies eastward. Half is mainly mountains but there are several untamed forest encircling the Heidif mountain range. The nation borders the great sea and the smallest nation, Sero. There is a lot of logging, mining and a decent amount of nautical activity. It is home to Vecafan, a totalitarian city, nestled within the mountains that is run by three corrupt noble houses, the Kent, the Werlin and the Jade. The people are more uppity than those from other nations and have high standards. They are more elusive but also more loyal and intelligent. They always pay their debts and don't easily break deals. This kingdom leaves the others on their guard for fear of attack. Sero: the smallest nation. Its mainly forests in Sero but the land is extremely fertile and rich, making farming and logging their trademark. There are three city states in Sero, Wick, Diegra and Vallis. Each controls a third of the nation and they rival each other. In the center of where the three meet, is Lake Hollision where they gather for ceremonies and various diplomatic excursions. The people from Sero are usually very diplomatic and polite. They value generosity, family and are rather forgiving. They can at times be less courageous than others and easily bought or sold. The nation has little to no defense and is on constant watch for invasions from neighbors. Guyara: Guyara consists of one main island surrounded by a few smaller isles, Indigo Island, Taeh, Dolphin Island, Scorpion Island and Minen. The main source of their livelihood is oceanic. The people there are friendly and good natured but can be superstitious and overly stubborn. The isles are ruled by King Harold who is a just and fair leader. He resides in the capital on the main island, Terric City. He is supported by six councillors, handpicked by himself. Lords, Kane, Mafis, Gian and Angelo and Ladies, Desireè and Willa. Four are just and good but two are conniving and manipulative (You'll have to figure out which is which on your own though) Characters are whatever you want the to be. No limits on creativity. No one wants someone cramping their style by saying their character sucks or some other stupid flane comment (just say no to flames) Also, this is mainly medieval fantasy but with just a dash of steampunk. If you want, you can have more than one main character and there's no limit on the number of NPC's you can make.
Hello, Aries. Welcome to the site! c:
Greetings! And thank y'all for the welcome!
<Snipped quote by Aries> i joke around
I can understand that. What would I be without sarcasm? Only an empty shell of a human being.
I can see that i've gotten a warm welcome from at least 2 people (Mahz and Kirra). And one negative. Off to a wonderful start, aren't I?
Boon? As in a favor?
Something very RPG Style with fights using either weapons or magic but also with some dark humor and a bit of romance. In this kingdom, there are three races, humans, goblins and mages. Humans look like what you would expect. Goblins look similar to humans but are they have skin with a very faint blue, purple or green tint with faint scale patterns but they have magic that lets them alter their appearance entirely (they use this ability because most people are prejudiced against goblins and that it lets them walk without persecution). Mages look like regular people but their eye color changes with mood and they sometimes are born with unnatural hair colors like green or pink. The rest of the details, someone else can try and make up like characters, kingdom names and the like.
I've arrived! Not much more to say than that, unfortunatly.
