I want to write, but don't ever seem to have the drive anymore. Every time I come back to this place and pop in to see how things are going, I want to come back. But I just can't seem to stick around.

At this point I think it’s safe to say I hate college, since I’m in my graduating semester with 6 classes, but I’m also pretty anxious about whatever will happen once I’m finally done.

That last month of the semester hit me real hard, but so begins the recovery process. I just want to chill out for a bit without having to think about another academic paper...

Bio

It's been 4 years so I may as well put something in here, right?

I tend to enjoy worlds verging on the bleaker side of things, not really sure why. I like 'em gritty and somewhat grounded, with a reasonable amount of realism (fun takes priority though, ofc). I guess I just like having a sense that defeat is right around the corner, though overwhelming odds are always best saved for those wonderful moments when everyone feels like a total badass regardless of victory or defeat.

I've really wanted to find an RP set in the worlds of Red Dead, Hunt: Showdown, For Honor, the Metro series, and a few others I can't remember at the moment. Any time I look I come up empty-handed, but I'd still like to find one.

Depends on the potions. Invisibility potions or stuff that can heal grievous wounds with a sip? Probably not. Medicine, chemistry stuff, drugs, possibly. Just don’t get any wise ideas about starting a gunpowder revolution. Tired of dealing with fools who want to use poorly understood modern sciences to try and take over the world.

Is that a common occurance you've had to deal with?
Thanks for the interest! I'm continuing to work on this idea (currently focused on creating and fleshing out enemy types), and hope to keep up work on this idea for a good while. But college is starting to leave me feeling drained and uninspired. I'm going to be taking classes over the summer as well, so I'm really hoping this trend doesn't continue.

Though… it really shouldn't stop me from continuing to work, and should really only slow things down.
There are three parts to my username, and each describes some aspect about me.
Oh, how long I've waited to see this... interested for sure!

I've never done advanced before, though. But it's motherfuggen Metro!
Well that's just friggen great... I lost the post I was working on. Whatever, I'll just start over on it tomorrow when I can.
@ALonelyParrot Uhhh… I'm not sure. Some people do, some don't. There are rules to follow for characters, which I believe are basically summed up in the first post of the IC. There's a more detailed version laying around that I could find.

Other than that I don't know what to tell you...
Hm... alright. I guess heading to either of those places looking for a job wouldn't be too unusual.
Hm... seems to be a lot of folk heading for the harbor, I think I'll head elsewhere to mix it up.

I'll have my characters shop around for jobs. Head for one of those recruiters of Lord Ashur, though I'm not sure where they'd find one. Realistically, anyways...
Maybe the market, if it's active. Possibly a tavern, but it's gotta be too early for that. Heading straight towards military posts and barracks to ask about jobs seems odd. Eh, maybe I'll just skimp out on the hows and the wheres.
