Bio

Hello all who have deigned to grace my profile with their presence! I am the great Arrayah, lord of the Phoenix. Or something. I don't know.

Anyways, bio. As of writing this, I am a 23 year old female. I am married. I own two dogs (a Dalmatian and a Labrador... so cliche). I work from home. I like crafty stuff and games. I used to be an MMORPG girl, but have since moved on to things like Minecraft and Ark as well as Rimworld and Dwarf Fortress. Who knows what's next?

I love writing, but only get to roleplaying a few times every couple years. Unfortunately, life gets in the way. I'm starting to have more time lately, and thought it'd be fine to start it up again. We'll see how it goes, but hopefully I stick around this time.

I was on the old RPGuild, so you may recognize my name. If so, hello again! If not, maybe we'll have lots of fun together. If I've been online recently, and you're interested in doing an RP, feel free to PM me. I'm almost always interested in 1x1s as long as I don't have too many going on. Check some of my old threads to see my rules, or pm me if that's too much hassle.

Long live the Phoenix Queen. Or something or other.

Tender Fern had called a meeting for the 30 odd members of the Fanged Rangers. Not all had arrived yet, but she couldn't wait any longer. It was time.

"As you all have heard, the Black King has declared war on all of us, not just the Rangers, and even has the Sweepers on her side. We need to be careful, even more so than we have been these past few weeks. Do not go anywhere alone. Try to stay in our territory and defend it as best you can. Don't be afraid to ask others for help.

"But more importantly, do not try to fight any other colored guilds. You should already know better than to do that, but as of today it has been decided that all of us: Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, White, and Green will ally against Black to insure our mutual survival. More importantly, it will allow us to defeat Moon Rider for good!"

Here there was a cheer throughout the hall. The Fanged Rangers didn't want to fight, but they also didn't like the way the Strykers were taking advantage of the Sweepers to ultimately cause chaos in D.G.O. Taking her down would mean the safety of the Green territory as well as the end of her so-called control over the game. It didn't help that some of the Rangers had defected to Black leaving the guild members wanting revenge.

Just as Fern was about to continue, another young panicked guild member burst through the large doors. This was becoming a regular thing, apparently.

"They're coming!" She screamed, obviously terrified.

Another, older boy, ran in behind her, his voice just as loud as hers. "They have some kind of crazy war truck! They're headed right for us!"

Now, Fern didn't know exactly what was happening, and these two hadn't described much, but there was one thing she was certain of: Someone was coming to destroy the guild. It didn't much matter who it was, more how many, which thankfully, the girl answered next.

"There's too many. I don't think we can defend against them!"

Okay. Okay. Fern needed to get a hold of the Rangers and quickly before they all started to panic. Quietly, thinking, she pulled her scarf tighter around her face. It was a good thing that she was practically covered head to toe. Otherwise, her own terror could have been seen. They didn't have enough guild members to defend against a full blown attack, but what else could she do? Let whoever was coming just take her territory? Her guild hall? That would be just like giving up, and that was something she just couldn't do. She loved this place too much.

"There are never too many!" The dull roar that was getting louder by the second quieted when she began to speak again. "We are a family, and this is our home! Are we going to allow these people to take it from us?"

Silence followed for a moment before the young girl who had brought the news first said, "But -"

Tender Fern cut her off. "No buts. Now, are we going to allow these people to take our home from us?!"

Finally, she got the answer she wanted. A loud, "No!" echoed throughout the hall, and she smiled, despite the fact that she may or may not be leading them into an impossible battle.

"That's right! We aren't! And why aren't we? Because we're-"

"THE FANGED RANGERS!"

And then they were charging towards the army of vehicles, Tender Fern following with her staff.
Yaaaaay someone is coming to help :D
Its not like I asked the maniac with the monster truck to come destroy green guild D;
Not even. Green guild is the sweetest nicest guild ever.
At first, the speech had been just like Lucy had been expecting: In memory of the four kings who had lost their lives. But then it took a surprising and devastating turn. It was her worst nightmare come to life, the entire reason she was considering allying with any other guild even if it meant making enemies in the process. Now, it would be impossible to keep their neutral position and still be able to fight the Ebony Strykers and the sweepers.

Each day, she was losing territory to the Black King. Worse, her guild members were losing their stats, the only thing that would help them in the future. It was the realization that the Fanged Rangers were about to be completely destroyed that had Lucy standing, tripping over people in an attempt to get out of that auditorium. There was no way she could stand by and let this happen. None. But how did she stop it?

Thankfully, her thoughts were pushed to the side when she found an unusual note in her locker. Apparently there were people wanting to join her guild, though she wasn't sure why this so called Princess Rainbow hadn't sent her a message on the forums. And why on Earth was the note in some kind of heart envelope? It was all strange enough to distract her. That was until she reached her room and checked the forums, preparing to enter DGO.

A message. From the Red King, to all of the others except for Black. It was as if he (or she) had answered her prayers. If Lucy could align herself with all the Colored Guilds, then she would not have to worry about the backlash. After all, the only one not included were the Strykers, and well... they had already declared war on the Rangers and all others. So, without even hesitating, she put in her own thoughts and an alliance was agreed to.

It was because of this, that when she did enter DGO, a weight was lifted from her shoulders. Finally, she could reassure her members that something was being done about all of this. Finally, she felt as if she was doing something that would benefit them. But just as Lucy prepared to tell her members about the alliance that had been made, a boy walked up to her, panicked.

As he told her about the rumors of a player who could change his status at will, Lucy had decide what was more important: Going after this masked man, or defeating the Black King before she could destroy the Rangers.
I shall be posting no wish :o

Apparently I have heart shaped letters to respond to.

Edit: I updated my perks and skills. I THINK that I did the last 3 skills right? I added 2 to the beginning of the list and 1 to the end.

Edit 2: Why attack me? So rude. D:
If they're still in the OOC I will consider them still around. If not, I'll take them out.

Change in rules. Otherwise, spellcaster types won't have any ways to fight without having to end up being melee warriors or gunners, since magic attacks are skill based only. This is how the ability/perk system works.Chose your class of the following five: Assassin, Gunner, Brawler, Healer, Wizard. You name will be randomly generated (Or so it's claimed, you pretty much get to chose on a meta level) that may or may not reflect on your class.Level 1: One Avatar Ability, one that suits your class. Often a unique gimmick or something, such as White Death's bow or Arms Slave's arms. Level 2: Another Avatar Ability appropriate for your class, bringing you up to two.Level 3: Another Avatar Ability based on the Spec you chose. This is usually where you class starts to diverge into specs, such as how Dark Wraith accesses Necromancy or Arms Slave getting a ability that lets him be tanky.Level 4: Another Avatar Ability based on the Spec you chose. You also get you first Class Perk, a choice of one of the two Level 4 Perks.Level 5: Another Avatar Ability based on the Spec you chose. You get your second perk, a choice between one of the two Level 5 Perks.Level 6: Another Avatar Ability based on the Spec you chose. You get your second perk, a choice between one of the two Level 6 Perks.Level 7: Another Avatar Ability based on the Spec you chose. You get your second perk, a choice between one of the two Level 7 Perks.Level 8: Another Avatar Ability based on the Spec you chose. You get your second perk, a choice between one of the two Level 8 Perks.Level 9: Another Avatar Ability based on the Spec you chose. You get your second perk, a choice between one of the two Level 9 Perks. While everyone has to chose from a given set of Perks, your Avatar ability can be anything, limited only to what would make sense for your given Class and Spec. So a Tanky Brawler might have some skills that would let them absorb damage and maybe dish a bit back out, but they shouldn't be starting to fling fireballs or stealthing in and out of the shadows. Now there are lots of ways you could play each Spec and class in somewhat unorthodox ways, such as how I'm making Arms Slave into a speedy and durable tank at the cost of having to rely on death by a thousand cuts to compensate for his general lack of raw offensive power. Again, play with a style you think would work best and be sensible for your given class and spec.

I thought we could only have 5 perks??

Also, just so I understand. The first couple skills should be less spec based and more class based?

Oh yeah, I forgot to bring that up.So, I know that the black guild is going for guild supremacy, the green guild is being neutral and the blue guild is trying to have fun, but what do the other guilds actually do?

True enough for green. Mostly they focus on helping people and don't want to get in the middle of any fueds that would hinder their ability to do that.
I feel like all us kings should put up a description of our guilds :o It might help.
