Heyo, is there a discord server or something for this rp. Interested but because of my limited knowledge I need attentive weebs to assist my endeavours.

Ezra

Ezra, by all metrics was already pissed. He'd been disrespected in front of company by an upstart hero he'd probably crush in a fight, and that did not help his mood at all. But for some reason, the woman who had came to his table seeking it had managed to wreck their table and cause great insult to both him and the people that he was with. He could not allow that, not by any metric. He did know that she was a girl, and that randomly hitting her out of the blue would leave quite a stain on his reputation, but at this point he couldn't give a shit, especially after seeing Kaida leaving in tears after trying to check on him. That had rubbed him the wrong way, regardless of how innocent the prank was. He had already eaten most of his food, so he wasn't exactly upset that it had knocked it over, but what did bother him was the smug smile that the woman had displayed leaving the table. By that metric, it couldn't have been an accident. She definitely pulled some shit, especially given the way that she spoke.

Ezra stood up before shoving the table aside with a shit ton of force, sending it quite a distance, before slowly walking over to the other table, that Jett had already confronted. He was glad that that little shit had saw through the same thing that he had, but he was definitely going about it the wrong way. Causing a scene was going to put more eyes on him, but at this stage, he couldn't exactly give a shit. He had been disrespected twice in the space of a short time frame, by people that were in his eyes inferior by quite a margin to him. By the time he had managed to come to the table, it was evident he was about to do something pretty fucking extreme, especially considering that the situation was minor.

"Fucking garbage. You're all trash. There's a reason you're not in the same class as me, scum. Inferior defective shitstains. You're not even worthy of being here, cunts." he spoke in a harsh tone, it was filled with spite and hatred, but it wasn't exceptionally loud, yet it still held a massive presence to it. Shortly after stating this, Ezra kicked the table with the class B students on it with every amount of force and quirk that he could muster, sending it flying into the wall.

"You're all aren't worth the air ya breath." he spoke as he lobbed the empty sprite bottle that he still had in his hand using a touch of his quirk at the woman who had previously came to his table, aiming directly for her head before walking off angrily. He had promised his family that he wouldn't do something like this on his first day, but it was evident that people were already trying to fuck with him and he couldn't stand it, no matter how hard he tried to tolerate it. Putting his hands behind his head, he promptly walked off, where to he had no idea but he definitely needed a few minutes to breathe before he did something even worse.

@Lucius Cypher @Aerandir @Conscripts
i like the look of it and am interested but don't consider me if you're waiting for a set number to apply because i dont want to disappoint if something comes up.
Yeah, I'm just writing up my character. I tend to like to see other peoples characters first as it sets the tone and all for me, at least.
sorta interested.
Will have a character up in the next two days or so.

Ezra

Ezra's focus was broken when the boy began talking. Apparently, his reasoning was not because of his reputation, which wasn't particularly strange to him. Though it was the typical reasoning for challenging Ezra to a fight, there were others, but it definitely took the edge off him. He then began to spoke, referring to himself as the worst in the class, and stating that he expected Ezra to look at him crazy. Ezra was dumbfounded by this. He couldn't believe that somebody could look at themselves and believe themselves to be the weakest out of everybody in the class. Ezra didn't share this opinion to be perfectly honest, he thought he might be the stupidest for his bad decision but not the weakest.

Ezra was shocked when he had spoken about this being the first time he used his quirk in a fight. He wasn't bothered by that, Ezra knew the kids that went to this school were most of the time from nice upper class backgrounds where they didn't have to get their hands dirty. He began speaking about his quirk being more of a detrimental health issue than anything positive for him, and he did feel sympathy as he spoke about being stuck in children's hospitals rather than being able to go out and live his life. He was fairly impressed that he had been able to overcome the odds, which was all the more reason he was mad at his opinion of himself. He wasn't particularly empathetic usually, or at all for that matter, but he felt as if he had to speak up about this. Yet he couldn't. He continued to listen.

His explanation continued, with him continuing to state his inability. He agreed to an extent that his abilities and thinking definitely needed polishing, and considering that was his first battle, he couldn't hold him to too much fault for what happened earlier, and at this point, he learned what the challenge was for. Experience. It was a good mindset to have, and he found himself with a bit more respect for the kid. Action is the best way to figure it out, and flinging yourself into the deep end was the fastest way to improve. He felt as if the kid was trying to catch up through force of will alone. He at least recognized that Ezra was within the top 3 of the class, which made him smile. He'd been recognised.

"Surely ya can think of a better nickname than E, c'mon. I'll fight ya, but if that's ya first time using ya quirk to fight, or even fighting by the looks of it, ya have a lot to learn. You can learn from school, but I can teach ya how to fight if ya that desperate." he spoke with a less serious tone but softer. Ezra very rarely showed significant emotion in this way, but he did seem to be serious and quite affected by it.

@pkken
Hey @Zeroth , feel free to have Kenichi interact with Ezra if you want to. I think it would be good character development for the both of them.

Ezra

Ezra smiled as he picked Jett up. He'd done it to plenty of people in his old school that had asked whether they could lift their weight, only to be proven again and again that he in fact could. Ezra's build wasn't lanky, he was tall yes, but he also had a considerable amount of muscle. Jett handled it surprisingly well, for him anyhow. If he were to be picked up, he'd definitely start a fight right there and then, but Jett seemed to want to turn it to banter, and that he had no problem with.

It was only after Jett had started listing names that he had caught on why he was being called Andre. He was trying to nickname him with the names of tall people, and he honestly found it amusing. He wanted to retort back, but he figured holding him like a toddler was a punishment enough. He wasn't particularly surprised when he broke free, it wasn't like he was holding him particularly hard. IF he wanted to maintain the grip on him, he would have already done that, he proved his capability to do that during the exam. He suggested the nickname smalls in order to confuse people, and that was when Ezra clocked on that he didn't see this interaction as a bad thing, but more as a rivalry and friendship.

His teasing continued, until he mentioned the fight. It was something that he was tremendously excited for. He couldn't really remember being this excited, except for the finals of his middle school national basketball tourney. Smiling at his newfound rival, he let out a grin and spoke happily.

"You can use ya quirk next time. Maybe make it a bit more difficult for me, since ya tore like a piece a paper last time."

IT was around this time that he had saw Roy coming up from behind Jett, and putting his hand on his shoulder. He spoke words that particularly annoyed Ezra, but they couldn't spoil his mood at the moment, so they had little effect on him. He couldn't exactly gather whether the boy was stupid or not. Judging from his decision making in the exam and his statement, he was, but he couldn't exactly have been transferred to the hero course without possessing some intelligence. Ezra figured the former was true, and whilst he didn't have a problem with fighting this kid, he knew that he wouldn't get anything out of it.

"I don't mind taking ya up on that, but it is there any reason ya wanna scrap? Are ya tryna redeem your reputation by takin' me down?"
he spoke, somewhat paranoid by this situation. He had dealt with this sort of shit his entire life, he didn't exactly want to go straight back to it in a new school. If anything, that's what he was trying to avoid when he transferred to this school. He was so deep in thought at this stage that he didn't even notice Jett leaving or speaking about Roy's confidence before he came back to his senses.

He looked at Roy with intense focus at this stage, trying to comprehend what was going on in this kids head.

Ezra

Ezra had sat down with Fumika, and to be honest, was not looking forward to his analysis. He was stupid that fight. He didn't treat the enemy with enough respect, he didn't use his quirk even though the enemy was likely exhausted and unable to use theirs, and most importantly, he didn't flat outright win. He was still conscious at the end of the fight sure, so he guessed it counted as a victory, but they both had to go the nurses office in critical condition, so he couldn't consider that a true win.

It was at this point the kid from before came over, and he knew he was trying to start shit. The banter was quite weak compared to back home, but he complimented him for it in his mind. He felt a touch on his arm as he called it a good fight. That was something that he agreed with. What he didn't agree with was that the fight would have ended differently if he didn't have shrap metal in his body. He did like the boys confidence, but he knew that if he had a full stomach, and they had a quirk fight instead of a quirkless one, Ezra would have beat the living shit out of the kid. At least, that's what he thought.

"We'll see when we have a rematch." Ezra spoke with a happy tone. He was glad that he had already established a rivalry of sorts, with somebody who was strong enough to at least push him to using his ability.

The analysis began with being told it was a tie. This was something he was already aware of at this point. Kenichi hadn't been able to win vs the ditsy girl, and Roy had failed him. And at that point, he was told they had cameras on site. He figured it as a given, but if they were going to replay the footage, then the moment with Lysander would come up. He wasn't particularly looking forward to seeing his classes reactions to it. It might destroy his reputation, but he figured he wouldn't care regardless, because it was one action that he figured was a right decision when he was participating in the exercise.

The footage between Kenichi and Fumika came on. He was surprised it wasn't a 2v1, until he figured that 'Haruka' might have been her quirk. He really should have kept note of student names, since it carried on leading him to wrong assumptions. He knew information was more valuable than gold, but he still kept on stunting it in the name of his own arrogance, and that was a quirk of his that annoyed him. He noted that the staffs advice was prudent and useful, even if particularly harsh, but he couldn't fault them. The best way to learn was to humiliate you to the point where you'd never wish to make the same mistake again.

He did however find himself enthralled by the fight. It was extremely action packed, even if lacking skill. Neither of them had seen much fighting in their lives, as far as he could tell. Their stances were terrible and their attacks were choreographed and predictable, but the uses of the quirks were extremely potent. He sighed at Kenichi's performance though. It was, in essence, what he had did. Deliberately handicapped himself to fight a weaker opponent and paying the price for it.

It was after, that he had saw Mamoru crash into the windshield. It was at this stage that he began pissing himself laughing as the footage came on, trying to stop it and cover his mouth but he couldn't. He couldn't comprehend why the fuck she'd jump headfirst into a car, even if the little quirk of hers prevented force. It was simply too funny for him, as he continued to laugh for another 3 minutes, trying to cover his face and mouth to suppress the noise as the presentation went on. He then saw that she tried to crash a fucking crane and truck into their little car during the exercise. This girl was fucking crazy but it made him continue to laugh well into the later parts of the presentation.

His laughter stopped almost immediately where they showed Lysander bailing them out of the crumbling building. He waited in anticipation as he expected to see the clip of him punching him in the back of the head, and seemingly showed no reaction to it. The inner brain of Ezra was screaming Shit, shit, shit! Why the fuck would you show that clip!? whilst the exterior continued to stare at the screen nonchalantly. He didn't want people to know that he was bothered by their impressions of him or his actions, and the best way to do that was to not show remorse at them, despite what other students looks showed.

The criticism of him was next, and although he appreciated improving himself, being told that you were shit was never a fun time for anybody. Their comparison to Kenichi made perfect sense to him, especially considering what he had done. A battle for plain entertainment. He shouldn't have used that chance, and should have thought better. Using his quirk, he could have had another good fight. Being called valuable to the team made him a bit happy though. As far as he knew, nobody on the team could win vs him in a fight if he were to go all out, so at least that was recognised. He then found out that Jett had hot-wired the fucking car they were using, which surprised him. How many fuckin' abilities does this rich brat have?! I saw people do it but, is this kid secretly a fuckin' drug dealer or somethin'

The headmaster was less harsh upon his delivery than L Guardian, and that showed through his analysis. He called the fight entertaining yet fruitless, which is exactly what it was. He'd love to do it again, but he'd like to fight when they both are at full power. He held a certain respect for the kid, even if he was fuckin' annoying. It showed the clip of his headbutt, and he couldn't help but smile. That fucked the poor kid up, he could tell. He'd done that quite a few times, and he knew how much damage that did, but that shit must have mashed his head up as far as he could tell.

The other guy, who had carried them in, addressed them in a foreign-esque way. He could tell that he wasn't native to Japan despite how well he spoke the language, and noted that he had complimented them both, almost trying to redeem our actions however stupid they were. He did feel he went a bit overboard though, he probably would have killed Jett had he given him another headbutt or something or other, or if he hadn't been slammed at that very moment. He had to try that move out sometime.

He noted the fight between Reina and Acion. He'd already saw it in person, but re watching it from a different perspective showed that it was still fucking cool, regardless of how it was looked at. She was pretty creative with her quirk for the most part, and she had definitely overcome an obstacle that was quite difficult. He personally would have used her quirk and drew him in to close quarters. since with 6 wings, he can't exactly thrive on a fist fighting end. Knock him off balance and he's done.

He saw Toni, who got some criticism and he didn't really take note of it. She was on her team, and he didn't really know what she did, given as she was irrelevant when he got there, proved to him that she wasn't noteworthy. He noted that Jett had used all his energy fighting her and getting away, which changed his mind immediately. Maybe she was stronger than she looked. She didn't exactly seem weak if she could have went toe to toe with him to the point where he'd run. Maybe it was a bad matchup, but he found himself with an newfound respect for the loudmouth. He noted that Jett would have died without the Nurse. He knew it was right. The injuries on either ends were extremely disproportionate. Ezra had gotten scraped up, but he was fairly certain he had shattered the kids skull, which was pretty insane.

He then saw Mina defeating Roy and wanted to laugh but couldn't. He'd already lectured the kid, but pushing it even further might provoke him. And even though he knew he could pummel him, he didn't want to. The kid had just made a stupid decision, and paid the price for it by getting knocked out and losing the match. His reprimanding was not going to make him not make those mistakes again, he'd already suffered enough in Ezra's eyes.

He noted Mina wasn't exactly a weak fighter though. She had good martial arts prowess, though it was mostly posh, uppity shit that he didn't think highly of. Kids who fought like that got beaten up because of stupid codes and honour and other stupid things. He also saw that Donny had collapsed the building, and it wasn't just him. Was this kid a psychopath? Did he not realise that they would have died? I mean, the idea was cool and all but this weren't a movie. He had to do some desperate things to survive in that scenario, and he was glad that Lysander was still with him to save them. Ezra felt he should apologise tomorrow, he made a mental note of it.

The staff had given them a handbook and explained that the bell was going to ring in 15 minutes. He had forcefully made himself to remember to read that book, regardless of whether he didn't want to. He could at least see what he could and could not do, and avoid mistakes in the future like he had at his old school. He heard about hero constumes, and remembered that he didn't exactly book one, so he'd likely be fighting in his own clothes or school uniform, either which he didn't have a problem with, though his air-max had kinda got scuffed from kicking the stone tablet.

He noted that once the presentation was off, everyone began talking. He was still in his seat at this point, and didn't care to move. He kinda wanted to go eat back in his dorm room, but at the same time, he didn't want to find out who they had assigned him to room with, so he figured that staying to the bell was the best decision, so he could at least mentally prepare him for whoever they gave him. He hadn't lived with someone before other than his family, so he felt pretty nervous and paranoid about it.

It was at this stage, when he was deep in thought that he had been provoked by the short boy he fought before. He was kinda annoyed and amused at the same time, neither one overruling the other to the point where he could just laugh or be angry about it. Was he trying to be annoying? Because it wasn't particularly working. He wanted to fight right now? He couldn't help but laugh at the thought, and he figured he'd get him back from the trash talk earlier. Putting both of his hands on his sides, Ezra picked him up with ease.

"I'm not Andre, ya know ma name. Fight me tomorrow, when ya head's better from that crackin' I gave it. I don't wanna fight somebody who looks like they got a week long hangover and the flu." he spoke, returning the smile. It was a small taste of home, though that wasn't particularly a place he wanted to remember. Still, he was enjoying himself.
