Shouken Washi

Shouken stood at water's edge of a small pond on the outskirts of Konoha, where he had been touching up on his techniques. His gaze was fixed upon a rather large tree on the opposing side of the small body of water. Shouken's eyes closed slowly, as his palms met in the center of his body. With great speed, Shouken conducted the required set of hand signals and prepared his jutsu.

"Water Style: Gunshot!!!!" He said angrily, tilting his head back and clenching his fists. Chakra ran through Shouken's body, but only took form within his mouth. With great concentration, the watery chakra condensed and was ready to be unleashed. Lunging forward and widening his eyes, Shouken unleashed the jutsu, aiming at the big tree.

The shot skimmed acrossed the water, parting the pond to where the ground beneath was almost visible. It struck the tree with great force, nearly knocking it down...But not quite.

Shouken, furious with his lack of strength, assumed the appropriate position once again and brought his palms back to the center of his body. He reached deep within his mind and soul, attempting to scrounge up all his remaining chakra to give one final effort.

Flashbacks of his mother flurried through his thoughts and filled him with rage. Immediately after the thought, Shouken repeated the process of the jutsu, still aiming at the tree.

"Water Style: Gunshot!!!!"

After condensing his chakra, Shouken spit his shot out. The ball of water was much larger than last, splashing much of the water in the pond onto the bank. The water flew much faster and with much more intensity. It struck the tree along with 3 others behind it, clearing a small patch of the forest. Shouken excited, yet exhausted, let out a small laugh and collapsed to the ground on his back, completely drained of chakra.

Once Shouken regained his energy he had decided on returning to the village to mingle with his peers and possibly look for a challenge. He had plenty of time before his father wanted him home and figured a walk back to the walls of konohagakure would allow him to recuperate most of his chakra.

@Assassin I want to notion that shinobi generally don't have control over elements. They can only 'spawn' water, not control it's tide and flowings. That'd be Avatar you're thinking of. Besides that raising water from the ground isn't generally something you can do without even knowing a technique, as it's a technique of itself.

Besides that I don't really see any problems.

Shouken Washi

Shouken towers most his age and has been that way for a while. He is often mistaken for an adult at first glance, but his baby face reveals his true age. His jaw line is refined yet his cheeks puff a little. Giving him an innocent yet seductive glare.

His attire usually consists of semi-tight fitting jeans with the jacket shown above. His hair turns a more purple shade in the winter but returns to brown in the summer.

【Personality】
kind hearted and loyal. He is confident within himself but ignores his limitations. He is always eager for a challenge and often is the first to start making wages. It is nearly impossible to dampen his spirit with words, and all who have tried have failed.

Shouken hates to see any form of suffering and will go out of his way to ease someone else's stress before his own. He was fairly popular amongst his class, and even teachers were pleased by his presence. He strives to become the best ninja possible and is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.

Shouken's seriousness shows rarely, as he usually covers up his emotions with jests or taunting. He doesn't fear death, which allows him to fight with everything, holding nothing back. He'd sooner spit in the face of a kage rather than give up. He is forgiving and understanding, yet his bold attitude shades it to where people may get the wrong idea.

He likes the attention from the crowd but refuses to lead. He's a little lazy when it comes to responsibilities and will usually turn down a leadership role, unless the order is necessary.

【History】
Shouken was born in Sunakagure, expected to take over his Father's store. Though, fate had a different plan for Shouken. He was blessed with the element of water and also possessed a strong urge to use it. By 5, he was practicing hand signals and claiming to be the world's strongest Shinobi.

At 9, Shouken took his first life. His parent's store was being robbed and burned to the ground as he returned from playing with friends. Thugs had started the fire and fled the scene, but one remained, pointing a small knife at Shouken. His gaze still struck upon the burning building, Shouken snapped. Thoughts of his parents being trapped inside rummaged through his head and rage filled his body. He lunged at the large man, knocking him to the ground. Shouken was instantly atop the man with his hand over the mouth of the thug. Water surged down the throat of the man and began to fill up his esophagus. Shouken returned the man's horrid struggle to breathe with an emotionles glare. As the man's body went still, Shouken eased his hand down to be accompanied by his Father who had been running errands. His mom remained inside the building.

A year passed with the death of his Mother, but that never stopped him from following his dream. That very next year, Shouken's father registered him in The Academy. Shouken had even more determination now than ever. He loved his mother and knew she would love to see him excel. Shouken studied and trained non-stop.

Once Shouken turned 12, he achieved the Genin Rank. The following year he would earn his next ranking of Chunin.

He soon hopes to achieve his Jonin Rank and truly make his family proud. However, he does not plan to stop there.
