Keisuke pulled his hood further over his head as he waltzed along the path. His King had requested his presence, and he was bound by an invisible contract to attend. After all, he did kind of owe his freedom to Scarecrow. Keisuke made sure his route was through back alleys and less populated areas of the city, to avoid attention from doves and just nosey people.

The rain pattered down onto his head as he approached the building Scarecrow wanted to meet at. He tried the door. Locked. Keisuke gritted his teeth and went around the side of the building, to the fire exit. He slowly dragged his feet behind him as he ascended the fire exit. He'd only just awoken and was still half asleep.

Upon reaching the top, he spied a figure that he assumed was Scarecrow. Keisuke removed his mask, licked his lips and teeth, and called out to him.

"You wanted to see me?"
@Augmented, I have to ask - is the last statement about him getting a job offer and picking up his gun supposed to be the start of his hitman career, or is that how you think Mr. Cheshire recruited him? 'Cause I stated above I am not gonna allow for that to happen, since I have an idea of my own on how that'll happen.

How do you see people getting recruited by Mr. Chesire? Or do you just want it to remain a mystery? Because I'm happy to edit it however.
Full Name: Otto Falk

Alias: Sniper(?)

Sex: Male

Age: 35

Nationality: German

Appearance: Click!

Personality: Otto is a quiet individual, but not creepy quiet. He'll quite happily strike up a conversation if spoken to first, but won't go out of his way to speak to others. Once given a job, he will focus on nothing but that particular thing. He'll shut out everything else weeks, sometimes months, before it was meant to happen. Otto keeps to himself and lives a secluded lifestyle, for a few reasons. One is that he's worried somebody might stumble across his stash of weapons and intelligence. Otto is extremely careful and triple checks every hit he's finished to make sure there is no trace of him or his equipment.

Background: Otto was born in 1980 in Munich, Germany, just outside of a military installation primarily used by US forces. As he was growing up, he was fascinated by the trucks, planes, and helicopters coming in and out of the base every day. He wanted to be part of that once he was of age, and that's exactly what he did.

Otto joined the German army and became a sniper. He was deployed on multiple operations during his time in the army, and became renowned throughout the German armed forces for his precision and lethality. Upon leaving the army, he had an official kill count of 17, but he claimed there had been more, they just weren't important enough.

Back in Germany, Otto found himself out of work and he wasn't interested in any of the jobs that he could get. One day, though, while sat in his apartment, on his sofa, with a beer in hand, he noticed his mail had arrived. Otto headed over and flicked through them. It mostly consisted of overdue bills and other useless paraphernalia, but something else in the pile caught his eye.

A single envelope. No return address. Intrigued, he opened it up. Reading through, it claimed to have work for him and gave him a location. Deciding that he had nothing better to do with his time, he tossed on his jacket, picked up his army-issue Heckler & Koch USP and tucked it in his rightful place at the back of his waist and headed out.

Upon arriving at the pre-determined location, he was met by a second envelope, telling him to assassinate a known criminal with connections to human trafficking groups. He'd already killed before, so a criminal who didn't deserve to live anyway was no problem to him. Otto nodded and returned home, to prepare.

The letter gave information about the target's daily routine, where he'll be, what time he'll be there. That kind of thing. He was in position across the street from a coffee shop, at midday, where the letter said his target would be. Otto crouched with his Heckler & Koch MR308 nestled into his shoulder. He looked through the scope, searching for his target through the masses.

At 12:07pm, his target entered the coffee shop. Otto took aim, locked onto the target's head, and pulled the trigger. It was surprisingly like any other kill. He'd killed bad men before, this was another bad man. No difference, at least in his eyes. As soon as he saw the man was slumped over in his seat with a gaping bullet wound in his head, Otto stuffed his sniper rifle back into it's duffel bag and left.

Otto went on to commit four more assassinations, none of which have been managed to be traced back to him. Yet.
Apologies for lack of posting. Real life isn't being kind to me.
I look forward to it :)

They do, but they're rare in the Black Guild. Just making sure, since it wasn't really specified.

They do, but just note this: Right now there are either Outlaws or Sweepers in the Black City (Who are in the process of joining up with the Black Guild). And they're not quite mutually exclusive since Arms Slave is currently a Sweeper going outlaw to enact justice. If you do decide to have these NPC players pass along any information, like say where the Black King is, be sure to tell us ahead of time, mkay? Cause they likely don't know; for the most part the Sweepers still answer to their Cleaners, and they rely messages anonymously to the Erasers.

Basically there's some hierarchical mess that I'd totally help you navigate, but don't just suddenly subvert it all by having the NPC's give you the names of their bosses and such.

OK, cool. Thanks for the info!
@Augmented

Just a tip: You might want to use the Mention Feature to let us know who Hyde is talking to right now.

An NPC. NPC players exist, right?
Sorry. Life. CS will arrive soon. Promise.
Hyde drifted through the streets, unsure of what to do. He didn't know whether to go left or right, forward or back. It was a never-ending maze for him. Hyde didn't know whether or not the inhabitants of this city we're friendly or just as terrifying as the Black King. Come to think of it, he'd never actually seen the Black King. Hyde had no idea whether or not he was even male or female. He didn't know if he just lay around in his palace (he did have a palace, right?) or actually went out on quests. Regardless, he didn't really want to encounter the King or his subordinates at any given time during his adventure.

Although, he probably will have to find the King in the near future if he was to progress with his quest. And that's what he did. Hyde went out in search of the King, or members of the Black Guild to question them about the King's whereabouts. He didn't know how they'd react. Perhaps he'd be challenged to combat, or perhaps they might not be as bad as they are made out to be, and might actually take him straight to the King. But he doubted it very much. However, Hyde begrudgingly a couple members of the guild. Or at least they looked like members. They fit the criteria of mean looking and violence prone. He clutched the handle of his Morningstar as he spoke.

"Hey, fellas," he enquired sheepishly. "Where can I find the King?"

Nies, Jukebox and Static are at an unspecified place in the Black City and they're moving towards the Sanctuary

Arms Slave is in the Black Guild hall fighting Azga

Flan is somewhere behind the Black King fighting me and corpse collector is there also

Assume anyone I didn't mention could be anywhere.

Hyde is somewhere near the entrance (wherever that is).
