I'll be without Internet access on the 18th for about a week. If you guys want to if we haven't finished the wave yet you could post the fights without me and I'll have their character sheets ready so you know what they can do.
In between waves your characters can get to know each other more and prepare.

Occupation: Jumper
Personality: By nature his a very curious child, but the world does not have much to offer other than rooftops. He likes the sky, but he also likes being on the ground. Deep down inside he feels lonely, but being in the new world he does not understand what this is. He is very very quiet in general saying almost nothing at all, with the machines mostly having to interpret what he wants through facial and body language recognition as well as scans in the case of hunger or potential disease which is currently rare. He likes helping out where he can though he gets stopped by machines as this defeats their purpose which is to Protect and Serve as well as Rule the now plain human society. He is peaceful by nature but his slight animal instinct makes him act out different from others. The best way to describe his personality is cat-like.
History: In the far distant future technology and genetics have come a long way, in a free society which did not have political or other reasons to inhibit their progress, a disease broke out that struck women during pregnancy. This disease caused the loss of an important gene required in order to live and due to the loss of this gene they discovered only two ways to save these children. They were either made to live as part machine losing a large part of what made them human, or being spliced with an animal in the hopes that their body does not reject it.
In this free society there was no existence of money and the ideas of killing and so forth never even occurred to those living here. There were no true jobs and very few occupations as machines did nearly everything. They were cut off from the rest of the world as the politics had caused many troubles as well as the incident of the black sky.
Elin was born at a somewhat bad time, due to a deficiency inside his mother during her pregnancy they were forced to perform one of the few experimental procedures which were frowned upon. The option to create a cybernetic artificial replacement to keep the child was declined by the parents who wanted a normal child, or as normal as they could get. While the machines had no feelings there logic was to maintain life so it was approved. His genes were spliced with a nearby cat who sadly had to die in order for this child to be born. If the cat lived the genes would reject the child, however with the host dead the only hope for the survival of the genetic code of the cat was to allow itself to be assimilated into the child. Gene splicing was common and its effects varied from full blown mutation to minor characteristics like cat ears and a tail so to speak
While gene splicing came with risks it made him less inclined to just lay around doing nothing, so he decided to become a Jumper. There were not many things you could do anymore other than becoming a Runner, Jumper or Walker. A runner runs all over the place just running for the sake of running, a walker just walks around aimlessly, but a jumper runs,walks and most of all jumps roof tops. This was most probably influenced by his cat dna or maybe it was just a coincidence.
He has good reflexes and good balance along with some really good hearing, but none of these matter in a world where a machine will fly down and catch you at any time, and almost no harmful noises exist within the new world let alone sounds that even matter anymore. The world was bland and dead with peace and technology as the height of mankind at the time, however the boy who just jumped and ran and jumped some more, finally jumped and before he knew it, he had no idea where he was.

google and Wikipedia are your friends, that and the minimum length is set there was never really a maximum put on nodachi's though long long swords are not pratical and were made to take out horses not people
Katanas
People don't realise that there are several different types of Japanese swords like the wakizashi and tachi... but they always go for the generic Katana.
I also see katanas a lot they long short and so on but in truth there are many different types but like he said...
The Wakizashi is a bit shorter and the Tachi is longer and in general you get the Nodachi which is really long like ranging from a meter to as long as five or more meters, that sword type gets a bit crazy
Lol, I think we can assume that Garren's future was quite far ahead of yours, since having a future just...deadened like that doesn't sit right with my moral compass. xD
But yeah, hover-bikes, exo-suits, energy rifles, laser guns, they had it all. Pretty fun.

you chose the bright future I had to choose the dark future but I edited it since some other people might also want to be from the future and me making it bleak ruins their future right. They are also an advanced society now so for all we now our characters could very well be from the same time if you think about it. Also look at Elin's gold and amber eyes, which could just be a coincidence however we both from the future we should get along better. though the biggest thing when we join up is how will all our characters communicate, we have one ancient Egyptian and my character is mostly mute so to speak unless he gets used to you... this will be an interesting and fun rp now just need to wait for my new history to be approved and I can move to character sheet section

The Hero Alexandier had not forgotten some of his heroic ways, as he had spoken before the child the weird grasshopper was talking as he just listened to their conversation which was something he was doing to kill time. He also had no intention of fighting children although to be honest he deep down felt witches were monsters and should have never been in this world. Also witches were not really bound by a code of honor so to speak. However he knew that witches had a sense of sisterhood as it hurt him to believe the grasshopper could be female.
He nearly wanted to laugh at the grasshopper pointing her swords towards him, he found this funny, amusing and also a bit insulting at the same time. He then began thinking the grasshopper must just be really stupid, he then watched the grasshopper hop on a purple turtle disk and off she went. He had too much confusion going on right now as he could not make sense of why the bug was even here to begin with. He decided to ignore it and looked over to his little witch even though she was not really little, his mind was getting a bit delusional so he was not paying attention correctly.
She asked him to make her leave as he sighed deep down inside as he was honorable enough to face all opponents equally, unless he was bored. She raised her wand as he raised his sword in response to her attack. He noticed a purple energy as he focused his holy aura, in order to hunt down demons he had to fight witches who allied with demons as well. In order to deal with most short cast magic he had to be able to use the Holy Armor ability which was one of the Holy magics taught to paladins. He was talented and did learn it in secret however it was not like he would need it as the speed of him slashing a sword at her wand would most likely be faster. However he wanted to take her seriously incase she tried to use a Gust of Wind type of magic to stop him.
He did not wish to kill her at this stage, he just felt like disabling her and making her leave, would she dodge and save her wand within that short time or would she be left wandless. Though he was not sure if this was her real weapon as many witches he faught used staves and magical orbs.
Meanwhile in another battle the Flaming Mess that was charging towards them evaded her ice blast which had overwhelmed the fires and went making a straight line blasting of ice which was heading straight for the slow guy with the large shield. However the fire mage had appeared to her side as it disrupted her the aim would just pass next to the guy with the huge shield leaving the two most likely with a very cold chilling wind passing over them as it would crash into the wall at the back.
She was an elf who had mastered elemental magic, but she was not used to fighting that much anymore and had slacked off a bit. Before she would have been able to blast the ice and pull it back at the same time, but she had not warmed up as she looked to the mage firing his fireball straight at her. The air around her began to change fast as she countered the mage's fireball with her own fireball as the clash caused fire to clash and fall on the ground most likely as she would now keep her focus on the mage.
"My name is Shi-anna, could we have a break and talk i really do not want to get sweaty right now and girls like us should not fight anyways. We should let the guys fight and go for some relaxing time in a spa, what do you say i make the water and you bring on the fire". As she began flirting with the fire mage out of boredom and out of the fact that she really did not want to risk any more fire magic going off as they were nearing her master.
Meanwhile the DemonBeast Riktor had his wish as the Amazon woman had charged straight for him with her broadsword as he smiled and stood up as the Demonlord's arms acted on reflex and hug tightly onto the neck of the demon beast also gripping onto some of the hair which there was a lot of. As the slash was coming the DemonBeast was smiling as he brought out his own sword which was gigantic just like him as he aimed to match her slash with an equally powerful slash as he pressed down with his right foot adding more weight to his slash as the battle of titans would begin.
Meanwhile the demonlord was resting in a half-dazed sleep as he just opened his eyes every once in a while due to the heat stirring him a little bit. The Demon Beast was smiling and soon things would change as the force of these two would be unpredictable except that it was highly anticipated the ground would shake in this first attack.
