UPDATE TO SPAGHETTI STORY: I managed to clean up all the spaghetti with a spare laptop case, thus securing the spaghetti for further pocket dwelling.

Indeed. Now we wait.
"He doesn't even listen..."

"I will give you one more chance crown prince," Grace adds the last words with a mocking tone, "If you continue to enlist citizens in the military, I will force you out of here myself!"

Grace's hand rested on her weapon, not drawing it. Her Guards followed suit, ready should weapons be drawn. "You may be royalty where you come from, but I hold the authority over you here. You will listen or you will leave, without pay."

She was bluffing, and she was sure the elf knew it. She technically didn't have the power to make him leave, but she had no problems with starting a fight and blaming it on the elves. Grace was confident in her position, figuring the elf would be smarter than to draw his weapon. Though if he did, he only did Grace a favor and gave her more evidence to force him out. Now in regards to the half elf...

"If you enlist, and you are indeed from Adarla, you leave when the elves do. You will no longer be under our jurisdiction, as well as no longer being a citizen. Make your decision with that in mind."

Again, another lie. Grace had little more to base her position off besides personal reasons. The law was on Arathion's side, and it drove her insane. Why must he always shove his nose where it doesn't belong! This was her job!
Rose spends maybe 5 or so minutes watching the boat drift away before eventually just leaping off the building without a ladder. She hits the ground nimbly, landing directly on her feet. Her eyes lazily drifted around, almost looking as if she wasn't completely there. The look of someone possessed, someone who was merely THERE.

"Well first off, this is the market district. As you can see, the wharf is over there, and then the goods are brought over-" she spins on her heel, pointing to the multiple stalls of the district, "there."
Nothing. no morning supplement.

cold turkey
pffffffftttttttttttttt

In this case it is.
I'm trying to go cold turkey on coffee.

I don't want to keep fueling an addiction.
I'm not sure.

I'm tired and I haven't had my coffee and I-

aghhhh
"Kill him and take the money anyway."

Rose shakes her head at the voice, biting her lip. She had no reason for money, and no reason for killing.

"I don't want your money. I'll be your guide, but don't expect anything spectacular." With that, she turns away again, watching as the recently docked merchant ship slowly turns and heads on its way again.
I can't respond right away.

I really don't want to leave dragon behind.
"Well if you are looking for a guide, you probably found the wrong place."

Rose had a horrific sense of direction, due to being prone to getting distracted. She probably knew even less than this stranger did. Not to mention, Rose may have the body of a 18 or 20something year old, but has only had control for a few months now. Mentally, she was incredibly young and easily overwhelmed. She was horrified at the idea of getting them both lost.
