@Dark LightThe sound of their bodies crashing down the wooden stairs of Danielle’s apartment and onto the pavement below would be enough to break through the unearthly silence of the blue time for everyone in the cafe. The always full Midnight moon rising higher by the second Aslynne’s eyes flashing indigo in it’s eerie blue light as she blinked them open. Her head turned awkwardly to the side so she didn’t touch him skin to skin.
They were hurting enough didn’t need to add to it with some unintentional mind sharing.
“I’m sure you are, but you can let go of my hand now. My weight should keep you earthbound.” Aslynne said as she struggled sorely to get up and off Tyler, warm blood ran down from her hairline, turned a deep almost black purple as it ran down her pale white skin. “Shit...” She said as she rolled off him onto her back and kept a grip on his sleeve to keep him from accidentally floating away. Dizzy she didn’t want to get up yet. “I think I have a concussion...” she moaned out as her head started to pound for a whole new reason. Bruised, but thankfully not broken. “You’re okay though right?” Aslynne asked Tyler, “Despite the shock of being able to leap buildings in a single bound... and crashing down the stairs right?”
