Yeah, I'm fine with how things are, it's how we've been doing it for years.
"So, we all set now?" Chuck asked.
We would have to wait until our actual Pokémon appeared, which could take forever, and the battles are all 1v1 battles, meaning only one pokemon each total, we wouldn't be able to do a full battle with it.

"Yeah. Let's finish this and catch those poachers." Chuck said, collecting his things.
So, I found this really neat thing for those that have discord called Pokecord. You can pick a starter from any region and with each post, you gain XP, and randomly a wild Pokémon will appear, the first one to guess it's name right gets it.
"Well, I say we head out for the trials as soon as possible." Chuck said, getting up and stretching a bit.
"The only way we can, one at a time." Chuck said.
