Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

Everyone, I'll have a reply post up by tomorrow. Today I worked a double, so no time until now, and now I'm exhausted.
@iKatamalicious

That was a great IC post. I'm going to need to respond to it in the morning after I've had time to sleep on it.
Faye is glad that a nice nurse is taking care of her Pokémon as she swipe her trainers card to get in line to put a slice of pizza and a bottle of water. She walks over to the brown hair girl she saw ealierand sits next to her.

“Hi, I thought you may want some company.”

Faye hopes to get a few tips from her as everyone can tell she is a new trainer as . takes a bite of her pizza. She takes a sip of water wondering if the brown hair girl wanted her to stay or go away.

The brown haired girl gave Faye a polite smile, "Sure, my name is Samantha. What's yours?" She then took another bite of her sandwich.
"Oh, uh..." Malcolm didn't realize they could look up trainer cards on the PC.

Shit, well maybe I'll just freeze tonight anyway...

Malcolm returned Split to her ball and scratched his head.

"It's ah... Striker. Should be under Striker..." It pained Malcolm to say that. It would have probably brought up his father's trainer information. And wanted nothing to do with him. Malcolm half thought about just leaving the center, considering the trip over a little vacation from the cold.

The nurse arched an eyebrow as he typed his last name into the computer. "Okay, and your first name? And date of birth?" Of course there would be more than one Pokemon trainer with the last name Striker in the world.

As you see everyone, from now on, I'm going to combine all my IC replies into one IC post. This will cut back on clutter. Also, as we get more people, my responses will have to be more direct and to the point.

While technically it is March 3rd in Malcolm's timeline, it is still March 2nd in everyone else's. This isn't an issue since your character's aren't interacting at the moment. I can manage multiple timelines and story arcs without an issue.
@jeroukoo

The male nurse sighed with pity as Malcolm shivered. "Well, let's get you taken care of, okay." He said as he motioned for Malcolm to follow him to the front desk. "What's your name?" The man said, as he logged into a computer. "I'll look up your information. We can get you set up with a room, and I'll have your replacement trainer card ready for you in the morning." When Malcolm didn't respond right away, the man looked up from his computer with a confused look on his face.

@Alisdragon911

A kind nurse with a southern accent took Faye's Pokeballs. "You should get something to eat at the cafeteria while we tend to your Pokemon. It'll only take ten minutes or so."

The cafeteria was semi-busy with trainers getting food. Some of them had their Pokemon out, eating with them, Pokemon that Faye had never seen in person before. She couldn't help but be amazed. Maybe someone here could give her a few pointers.

In the back of the cafeteria, a young brown haired girl, around Faye's age, sat quietly as she ate lunch alone. She seemed nice enough.

@Wayward

It was evening in New York City, and while the inside of the train was warm enough, outside was a cold 38°F. Bryan would have to visit a Pokemon Center before it got too late. It wasn't supposed to drop bellow freezing or snow, but still, there's never any need to be cold and miserable when there are Pokemon Centers waiting to take care of you for free.
@Wayward

So, for the Pokemon that could be in your team, I'm going to do a wide search with the middle of Connecticut being my center point. Basically, these Pokemon can be found in Connecticut and surrounding states, sometimes a little further. Pokemon in bold and italics are the closest ones, the ones that he would have came across early in his Pokemon adventure.

After you choose your Pokemon, I'll let you know where you would have gone to find them, just so that you know where they came from more exactly. Also, you may notice that Eevee is not on this list. Eevee is not naturally found in this area. As such, Eevee could be a gift from his parents, not a starter from the lab. Any Pokemon that is in bold and italics can be the starter Pokemon from the lab. Or maybe, when they asked him to pick a starter Pokemon, he said no thanks, because he already had his Eevee.

Next is the list of Pokemon found in New York City and the surrounding area:

Pidgey: Can be found all over the place.
Psyduck: Can be found by the water, but generally at night when people aren't out in numbers.
Gastly: At night, particularly in and around cemeteries.
Misdreavus: At night, in parks and back alleys.
Wobbuffet: Randomly, anywhere, but hiding from people.
Snubbull: In parks, during the day.
Zigzagoon: In parks and suburbs.
Shuppet: At night, in back alleys and near cemeteries.
Basculin: Along the shore, in rivers, in large bodies of water.
Klink: Practically anywhere, but quick to run away.
Litwick: At night, in and around old buildings.
Clauncher: Off the coast and in the rivers.
Klefki: In any parking lot but quick to run away.
Togedemaru: Practically everywhere but quick to run away.

Once I know what Bryan is looking for, I'll add things to the map in his area.

Nice. It's good to be getting back into the swing of RPing. Also, I'm figuring for my character's starting placement, just have him already in NYC. I'm just gonna start off with him on the train as it's getting towards Grand Central; well, specifically at Harlem-125th Street, and leaving for Grand Central from there. But for simplicity's sake, we can just place him at Grand Central because he'll be there within my intro post.

You got it, but I'm going to have to do your Pokemon lists tomorrow morning actually. I've been on the road all morning and have to go into work soon.
@Alisdragon911

By the way, I'm not quite sure how to reply to your latest post. It's not clear what your next step is going to be. Though, if you want my suggestion, I think a trip to the Pokemon Center is in order. I added the local Pokemon Center to your map.

You can go ahead an post IC again, whenever you like. I don't see a need to make an IC response at the moment.
@Wayward

Your character's personality and bio are on the long side, which isn't a deal breaker or anything, but try not to go overboard on your IC posts. This RP us in the Free section for a reason. Other than that though, it's all good.

I'll get those lists of Pokemon ready for you tomorrow morning.

Glad to have ya!
