Just wondering, which country in Africa is Jessalyn from? It's a pretty big continent.
It seemed like there was a lot happening. The cacophony of battle raged around him, the sound of sizzling electricity and smouldering flames echoing in his ears. He heard his classmates too, shouting strange words or screaming in pain. He couldn’t really help, he was in his own little world. His eyes were clamped shut, as if not receiving the visual stimuli from the battle would make the pain go away. It didn’t work, obviously. So he kept listening, hoping for someone to save him and give him a reason to pull out of the foetal position he was still holding. He heard a girl cry in relief for her friend’s safety. He heard someone else shout profanities at the false Tomoda. And he heard Rena begging for someone to help him.

Seemed like the heiress finally ate a few slices of humble pie. Actually it seemed like she ate a boatload, considering the desperation in her voice. Aki would have chuckled if it didn’t hurt his sides so much. It was about time she learnt a lesson about arrogance. Shame he had to be in the firing line though. God, she was so pitiful right now. It was nothing like what he was used to. It... damn, it made him feel bad. It wasn’t anyone’s fault, not fully. It wasn’t her fault they were stuck in this weird dimension with shadow monsters and fireball-flinging classmates. It wasn’t her fault that her kicks didn’t have any effect. It wasn’t her fault that he finally found the guts to stop feeling sorry for himself and actually do something.

“Not…your…f-f-“ he tried to pry the words through his grit teeth. But she left before she could hear.

Then suddenly, relief. His muscles relaxed and the cold sweat on the back of his neck finally stopped. His back stopped feeling like someone was beating on it with a branding iron. He opened his eyes and saw Senhime with her Persona.

“Thank you. Thank you so much!” He shook her hand with gratitude.

He stood up and wiped the rest of the tears from his eyes. Geez, that was certainly…something. But he couldn’t dwell on it now. He needed to help his classmates. As he ran to return to the fray, he felt a breeze on his bare back. Aw man, his uniform and his cardigan were completely trashed. How was he going to explain this away? His sister’s wrath was more terrifying than anything that monster could throw at him.

Akihito shouted with a new purpose. “Metis, Cruel Attack!”
Alrighty, fixed it to a bracelet machine thing? Is it ok now?
Aight, so if I say that it's a bracelet with little gadgety bits as well as some olive branch/miscellaneous god worship stuff going on, it's cool?
@VitaVitaAR

Right, sorry about that. Changed it from a mallet to a ring with an inscription. Got confused because one of the Ritual Devices in the CHAR tab had a mallet, so I thought it was ok to use
@VitaVitaAR

Here's my CS. Are we going to be putting the family name second or first for these characters?

@Polaris North

Coolies. Thanks man.
I suddenly had an idea for a Ritual Device. What about having a pact with Dionysus, God of wine and merrymaking? It's said that when he's at a celebration and dances, he frees others from negative feelings.

So I was thinking, if someone made a pact with Dionysus, he could use that power to 'power up' those around him. He's sort of like a support-type character. Of course, he needs to be celebrating and/or drinking any form of alcohol.

What do you guys think?

I came up with a similar idea for a character before I looked through the OOC and saw your post. She would be a faculty member who needs to be inebriated in order for her powers to activate. The difference being that she makes a pact with a different alcohol themed god and her ability is more of a "Drunken Fist" sort of deal. I was wondering if I could make this character with your approval. Wouldn't want to step on any toes here.
Literally just finished the post that included a sentence with Winnie shit-talking SAO, and then my friend sends me this:

The Japanese girl, Kagami, didn’t seem pleased about her returned figurine. She refused to meet Winnie’s eyes and made a weird face, before discarding the figurine in some sort of handmade shrine. Oh, so this girl was one of those obsessive collectors that needed even the packaging in mint condition. It was a figure of that Asuna girl from that anime that Winnie’s sister despised too. Winnie probably would have trashed it voluntarily if she had known.

Annoyance and hurt flared through Winnie. She’d worked hard to secure that figurine, survived a fatal clawing and possibly discarded her humanity. And this girl just tossed her hard work away like it was a piece of trash. Honestly, Winnie didn’t like the idea of people not liking her, or getting the wrong first impression of her.

“Can’t you at least take the figurine back with you? I worked hard to retu-“

And then Winnie noticed something. It felt windier than usual. Not that there was much of a breeze in the first place in this distorted dimension, but it kinda felt like…oh no. Kagami’s weird expression made sense now. Winnie’s face went as red as Kagami’s.

“Oh my god, I am so sorr- why didn’t you guys say anything?!”

Winnie frantically went through her bag. When she first entered this world, she was wearing her sports uniform, so her usual school uniform was stowed in her backpack. She put on the one piece dress and school shoes. Shakti was completely naked too. Winnie offered the Indian girl her school jumper.

“Sorry, I don’t have any extra pants or shoes. I mean, I guess you could take my dress if you really wanted. I have a blazer as well, so if you wear that and wrap the jumper around your waist it could work out. Again to everyone, so sorry about this.”
