Consider this a placeholder until I come up with a punchy, pithy status.

Hey there, one small thing I thought I'd mention about the sheet you posted, we seem to have some overlap in our Clout sections. One of my contacts is 'Virgil Riley, DEA Chief of Operations' and one of yours is 'George Wilkerson - DEA Operations Lead', which sound very similar as jobs go. My research (probably giving it airs and graces, I just read some easily google-able articles online) seemed to show that Chief of Operations was the correct title for that sort of figure in the DEA, not Operations Lead.

To fix this, we could just both have Virgil Riley as a contact, nothing to stop one man having several friends. Or maybe Operations Lead means something else, in which case I'd be interested to hear what George Wilkerson's role is in the DEA, to clear up my confusion.

It's not a big thing but in a game that puts such focus on the particulars and the details, it seems worth addressing.
@Lyla
Yes, of course. I was planning for magic to take the place of gunpowder, really.
@Wade Wilson
No worries, happens to all of us, good luck with your other RPs.
@Lyla
Ah, just missed you, drat.

Will a Three Musketeers (probably more like 7th Sea, if you know if?) style world of swashbuckling and sorcery be okay? Renaissance era technology (obviously without guns), the church as a global power and flashy derring do being the norm for heroes.
@Leidenschaft
Sorry, I have limited access to a computer at the moment, the sheet is almost ready but I lost faith in a part of the backstory and needed to do some rewriting. Hopefully it will be done tomorrow.

Things will be back to normal for me in a few days and my posting speed will pick up.
I've begun work on a sheet and have managed to resist my natural inclination to make all my characters overwhelmingly British. He'll be a veteran with a long and varied history of operating, a very combat-centric skill set and a few glimpses of the occult under his belt.
I'll wait until we've got one more guy roped into this thing before I open up the OOC. You can start throwing together a CS now though.

Consider me well roped, this looks very interesting and relevant to my interests.
@ClocktowerEchos
Oh, it's very much not fear or a lack of pride, though I appreciate the reference.

I just prefer to show a finished product to the thread and not do the hashing out of the finer details in public, in the same as I don't post a work-in-progress IC post in the OOC. From experience as a GM, I know I personally prefer to discuss applications in private, though obviously not all GMs feel the same and nor should they.

I'll wait on the GMs yea or nay.
I think @Dragonruby may have caught me lurking on this thread, so I'd better register my interest pronto.

I was thinking of doing something slightly unconventional with my application, including but not limited to a faction that would have no intention of conquering any others and has fewer than 100 members, so I prefer to not post it in the OOC, if that's acceptable. I'll PM an application to the GMs when I have something a little more concrete to show them but until then, I'm impressed with the quality and set up of this RP, it looks great.
