Enter The Dragon!

Drake grumbled as he slowly got out of his cot, the alarm by his bed stand in the cold facility bedroom rung loud and clear, echoing off of the metal walls. The ringing was irritating, he was persistent in telling his superiors 'calmy' to change it into something soother, but they insisted that he'd never get up if that were the case. Besides, this morning was the big day after all. Regardless, #23 had quiet enough of the tormenting alarm, and smashed it to pieces with a single blow of a crushing hand. Rolling out of bed, the Groggy godslayer walked towards his personal shower. He turned the water to the hottest meter it can go, and stuck his arm to let him feel the temperature. It was cold, at least to him, bitter cold. Shivering, even as the water finally heated up it was still too 'mild' for his taste. Though yet again, his superiors insist that they cannot set the water temperature any hire. Frustrated he shut the shower off and closed the curtain. Still undressed, he went to his closest. He had prepared for the day he would be fed up of forcing himself in cold showers, it was time for him to be bathed in his own fashion.

Opening the closet door revealed a can of gasoline he convinced to keep. It was difficult for him to obtain such a luxary, as they warned it could be very hazardous to the facility. They finally allowed to take in his request but only for testing purposes and to be monitored. In truth, he never did get to test with it, keeping it in his closet and waiting for the men in their lab coats to forget about. He would uncap the gasoline can, and would begin pouring the flammable oil over his head and down his pale flesh. Then with a simple spit of a spark the gasoline would violently ignite off of his body until he was completely shrouded in flames. For the first few moments he was comfortable letting the flames cleanse the filth that had accumulated of his body, however the smoke detector went off in a few seconds after, and the ceiling sprinklers turned on, showering drake with cold water. He stood there, it would be normally difficult for simple water to put out lit gasoline, but it appears the scientists were one step ahead to his antics, as the water system in his room had a special chemical to not only help snuff out the flames but also dissolve the oil of gasoline.

After an hour of suffering Drake exited his dorm suited with a winter coat and black trousers that were a bit damp from his unfortunate morning. He kept the soft furry hood over his head that casted a deep shadow over most of his face save his smooth chin and lips as he made it to the designated meeting room, The Auditorium. He wasn't thrilled about the idea of socializing with others, even if they were just as much as a monster he was. As he looked around from just after the door way at all the strangers he would be squeezing his stress ball lightly in his left hand. His Amber eyes were glowing faintly, just enough to be noticed clearly from his shaded face, the ambiance it gave off and its reptilian slits looked almost like small flickering fire.

Honestly tho, I really like the idea of 1v1 duels between Godslayers and gods. Most of Mina's endgame abilities will be only useful for battles like this, so the previewed abilties are probably the most flashy of them.

@Sarcelle Renard I understand the concept of the rule of cool ofcourse, but for Drake's pinnacle of his power I was thinking that he fully transforms into a giant dragon and it becomes a classic kaiju-fight and all. I'm not sure how powerful characters are expected to be at around the end game level so I want to run by that idea first ahead of time.

Appearance

5'11, slim, and pale white skin tone. Not exactly an intimidating figure. Aside from his spiky hair that is whiter then his skin tone, his most strange feature is his eyes. The color of amber, and have more reptilian shaped pupils, they also give off a faint glow that can be compared with the dim flame of a candle. He typically wears black or blue jeans, black or grey sweat pants, and on rare occasions some variety of shorts for pants. As for shirts he will often wear a white, red, blue, or black t-shirt over one of several coats. His black winter hoodie, a slim blue collared button jacket, a white zipper hoodie, or a dark grey trench coat. Rarely will he wear shoes.

Personality and interests

Drake is a quiet and solemn individual, 'often' described as cool and calculative. The only noteworthy exceptions are due to a surprisingly short temper, in which his anger becomes more reflective of his destructive power. He is easily annoyed by unfavorably comments, unpleasant sounds, or inconvenient scenarios. He has however, shown to improve his anger management, with the help of the stress relief ball he squeezes whenever he feels the urge to. He has no qualms with the scientists and being treated as a weapon, as he understands the danger the gods pose, though at times he does silently dream of the outside world, he'll never show that desire however. What little humor he can give is through sarcasm and passive aggressive comments. He has a very straightforward and 'no-nonsense' matter of speaking, he doesn't care who he offends or being anything but honest. If he thinks someone is annoying or trash, he will let them know. He doesn't sugar coat things either.

Likes and Dislikes

-He enjoys silent and peaceful moments and scenary, another reason why he wishes to see the outside world is to take such peaceful walks through beautiful landscape.

-He quickly becomes aware of who he tolerates, and who he cannot stand. It is difficult for him to actually 'like' anyone.

-That being said the typical annoyances of obnoxious or degrading sounds and unlucky situations can get under his skin.

-A result of his ability, he enjoys resting and/or sleeping in hot environments, in one instance it went as far as him sleeping over a fire pit. A tendecy that resembles the behavior of ectothermic reptiles without the danger of being burned by extreme temperatures.

-Likewise, he hates anything cold and even mild temperatures can be a bother, which is why he mostly dresses in winter clothing. He also almost always heats up water before drinking it.

Enhancements and Ability

Enhancement

He has qualities that resembles that of a mythological dragon. He cannot be burned by any conventional or extreme temperature or source of heat, however this does not include other factors from heat-based sources and weaponry, such as explosive force. This resistance has so far proven that he can stand and even submerge in molten iron without evidence to injury or discomfort aside from destroying his clothes and anything else on his person.
Despite his slim appearance, he is deceiptively strong, capable of lifting a half of a ton.

His glowing eyes seem to allow him to see even in the darkest of rooms, though it also gives away his presence.

Ability

His abilities also reflect that of a mythological dragon, though it seems to be a mixture of temporary morphological transformations and firepower. So far he has proven to do the following;

Blessing of the Sky Tyrant

Sprouts a pair of bat-like wings along his back. He can also grow a reptilian tail with a naturally barbed tip with this ability as well.

Song of the Fire-breather

He can Breath jets, or an explosive projectile of fire. The jet-like stream has a range of 9 meters while the projectile variant has an effective range of 15 meters and has the explosive force of a frag grenade.

Union of the Ancients

Transforms his hand/hands into 3 foot-long head/heads of afire-breathing dragon. These heads can also spew flames in the same matter as the above ability, as well as having a bite-force strong enough to bend iron.

Roar of the Dragon

Performs a roar-like shout that can create an AoE of strong force up to 8 meters.

Armor of the Scalelord

He can grow reptilian plated scales over his body that have a durability that can rival steel, as well as powerfully sharp claws that can dig into iron.

Wrath of the Hellkite

His powers also to have seem to have a spike in his sanity, namely in his short temper. Granted while he has worked on his anger management intense amounts of frustration, pain, and other unfavorable factors can easily set him off. At an enraged state, he becomes dangerous to both enemies and allies. His body creates flames off of his skin as a sort of 'firey coat', in addition to entering a berserk-like state and being savagely violent, and a drastic increase in the temperature of the fire that he produces. If ever in a situation like this, others are advised to keep away as not only standing near him could harm others, but in this state of anger it is difficult for him to seemingly differentiate friend and foe and may result in him going on a blind rampage.

@Thecrash20 You're absolutely allowed to do so. Just make sure you give a GM a heads up once you make your changes so we can take a look at it.

@dragonmancer You have a very interesting Ability here, I just worry that Drake will be a little bit too stacked when it comes down to it though. Considering that he has great speed, great offense, and great defense, I would be awfully hard pressed to consider him as only a B rank. Honestly, if you just tone down his speed, I feel like he would be pretty balanced character, because having that essentially negates any weakness he would have had with his short ranged fighting style.
