''Wait.. What is happening?'' Elsbeth asked and got up from the ground. She looked at Derik who was not moving anymore. ''What did you do with my...'' she asked but didn't finish her line as she suddenly saw her grandfather turn into a dragon. ''Dragons? Real.. Dragons?'' she asked and walked up to her grandfather. ''Grandfather?'' she asked. She listened to what they said. ''What.. Mike?'' she asked and suddenly it was like a lock was opened and her memory's came back.

''Mike Fertar.. is Derik's father... He.. He survived past the normal age of dragons for his revenge on his family and beloved Jania... We.. We met and fell in love.. We were the king and queen for several years... and Derik was born...'' she said. She now walked away from her grandfather. ''But.. After we defeated Uncle Ragnarok.. I first woke up... Derik wasn't their... and Mom and Dad were not married... I did know about everything but they all thought that I was crazy... And then... someone... someone came to me with a choice...'' she whispered. Elsbeth's head started to hurt. ''Mike? Mike.. Mike where is he?'' she asked after several times repeating his name, in whisper but also louder

Elsbeth looked deep in her grandfathers eyes, when he asked the question she shook her head. ''No Grandfather.. I don't think I can live without this man... I feel deeply that I gave him.. me.. because I love him'' she said and when he told her about Derik starting to ask soon, she nodded. ''I know, and I hope that I can answer his questions the way he likes to hear it.. But I will not ever lie to him'' she said, suddenly she felt a tear roll over her cheek.

Derik walked up to her and jumped on her back, yet when he saw the tear, he stopped his attempt to play with his mother and looked at her. ''Mother, are you alright?'' he asked and took his silk tissue. With that, he took away the tear. ''Look.. It isn't absorbed'' he whispered and showed his mother the tear. ''That must be a very special tear'' she said. Even though they all didn't know about the dragon changing, Marina and Elsbeth still had their magic.

Elsbeth took the tissue with care and blew slowly against the tear, it became a tiny little gem and when she took it of she showed Derik it. ''This.. will glow when it is time to show what was hidden in the tear'' she said and laid it in his hand. ''Be careful with it'' she said and closed his hand over the gem. ''But it is yours'' he said. ''I know honey, but I think that is will belong to you'' she said. Derik nodded and then opened his hand, he took the gem and folded it into his silk tissue.

''A restaurant?'' Vanessa asked from the kitchen, where she grabbed a beer, she took also a glass with her and then filled another glass with coke and for herself she took a sweet white wine. With the three glasses and the beer in her hand she walked back and placed them down without spilling. ''There you go'' she said and looked at Kade. ''Do you already know what you would like to drink?'' she asked with a smile.

''Grand father'' Elsbeth said with a smile. ''It's so great to see you again'' she said. ''Hello Baba'' Derik said and bowed for his grandfather. Even though he knew very well that his grand father's name wasn't Baba, he still said it since it felt normal for the boy. Elsbeth smiled. Derik walked around and then sat down on the little throne his grandmother and father had placed down for him. ''Look mother! I am king'' he said. Elsbeth smiled. ''You will be a great king when your grown up'' she said and then faced her grandfather again.

''I am glad that you say that grand father, but I can't rule without a man.. But, not any royal man I met, isn't the one I am willing to spend my days with'' she said. ''They are all so serious.. and so worried about money... I need someone that is ready to die for his people.. Someone.. That can be like a real father for Derik..'' she said. She now sat down in front of her grand father, legs crossed and her hands cupped and laid on her knees.

''Plus.. I keep feeling like a piece of me is missing.. And not the way I feel when Derik isn't near me.. It's just.. so weird that I can't remember who his father is... Or where he is'' she now whispered, not willing to let Derik know she didn't know about his father anymore. ''And it's not that, that drives me crazy... I just want the man to know he has a great son.. Soon, probably sooner than wanted.. Derik is gonna ask who is father is.. If he didn't do so already... And I can't tell him a lie'' she said.

Maybe this is the moment where Xaven runs away in stead of sitting in the water and Vanessa follows him and that he cuts his hand open and during the change that still is a wound in his paw and that when Vanessa sees him, in his wolf form, he thinks by all the new stuff that just happened, that she hunted him and he attacks her ???

The moment the evening had went on, Vanessa had changed back to the black/pink dress she had been wearing that morning too and walked around with her camera, taking pictures of everything and everyone. Even of the fire, though it was from a distance. Yet, the moment Xaven, Drake and Ralphie had started to feel worse, she had stopped the photo taking and was taking care of them as much as she could.

''Stay put you three..'' she said and then got a bucket with water, it wasn't hot or cold but a nice in between and she had gotten some small towels and soaked them, laying them on Xaven's, Drake's and Ralphies head. She kept changing them and re-soaking them when ever it was needed and she didn't had time for pictures anymore.

The moment she saw them cover their ears, she started to look around just like Xaven did. ''What is happening with the three of you?'' she asked. When it stopped, or so she thought since they could normally sit again, she checked their heads. ''Okay.. You three, follow me...'' she said and with the three of them she walked to the lake. ''Walk in it till you feel the water on your calf and then sit down'' she said. ''My mother did that with me and my sister too and it works.. believe me'' she said.

Ralphie walked in and sat down. ''Okay, this does feel nice'' he said. Drake followed and was next to sit in the water. ''Xaven, come on.. You need to cool of.. Literally'' Vanessa said, pretty worried. She laid her hand on his arm. ''Your way to hot...'' she whispered.

Marina felt weird in her head when she got that message, she knew that she would feel even more weird if she didn't listen to it. ''Don't you think Derik is a little small for journeys? Your journey will bring you to great heights but also very dark deeps...'' Marina said. ''True.. But, there is at least on kingdom I wanna go to wíth Derik'' Elsbeth said. ''And that is the one of the Fertar family'' she then said. Bellfire nodded. ''Then go on your journey, return every time and stay for a while... And of course take the Fertar Kingdom as last'' he said. Elsbeth nodded. ''I think, that that is a great idea'' she said.

5 years later

Elsbeth had been back from all her journeys for quite some time now and she stood at Jania's grave. ''I don't know why dear Queen Jania.. But something... a feeling... tells me that something great is gonna happen soon'' she said. She had felt lonely the past five years and was about to go on her last journey, to the kingdom that once was owned by the Fertar Family.

''Princess?'' Diana asked, she held the hand of Derik, which already was six years old and had blond hair like the sun and eyes big, and blue. His eyes where exact the same as his mother's, and everyone that looked at the little boy couldn't help themselves than just to feel like they were seen right into their souls and everything wrong was forgiven. ''Yes Diana, oh look.. There is my handsome prince'' she said with a smile. Derik walked to her. ''Mommy? Are we going to the other kingdom?'' he asked, he was a smart boy. ''Yes honey, did you pack your bag?'' Elsbeth asked. ''Yes, even asked the foreman for our horses'' Derik said with a cute smile. ''Such a great thinker, you are fantastic'' she said and then look his free hand, together they walked back to the castle.

Mia ignored what the girl had said. Not hold it against him? He had taken advantage of someone with pretty much the purest heart around here. She shook her head and started with dinner.

When the day came to an end, Mia sat on her room which she shared with Cerberus and when she felt Hades return, and in what bad mood he was, she walked to the kitchen and brought him the plate with food she had made and kept warm for him. ''I hope this will taste good Sir'' she said and then walked away again.
