Elsbeth heard the flute and followed the music, to find there all kind of birds and princess Sashia dancing in between them. She listened to the princess and felt happiness that the princess had not left yet. When Sashia stopped the flute playing she clapped softly. ''That was wonderful'' Elsbeth said. Sashia looked up. ''Oh, thank you princess!'' she said. ''Your welcome.. Wait, how do you know that I am a princess?'' Elsbeth asked. ''Your tiara'' Sashia said. Elsbeth held on her head and giggled. ''Oh.. Yeah, I thought I had got rid of that'' she said. ''No, you didn't.. So, how can I help you?'' Sashia asked.

Elsbeth asked about this, she sure felt a connection with this girl. They really were almost the same, but what Sashia did with a flute, Elsbeth did on a harp. ''I am on a special mission, you could say.. And I think.. I know for sure that I am gonna need your help..'' she said. ''A special mission?'' Sashia asked. ''Yes.. It is hard to explain without making you run for your life probably but.. I am on a mission for Diva'' she said. Sashia blinked. ''The goddess of destiny?'' she asked, whispering.

Elsbeth nodded and at that moment, shadow like creatures started to surround them. Some even took over a bird and Sashia and Elsbeth soon got in the middle of some angry and possessed birds. ''Oh god..'' Elsbeth said. ''Don't hurt the birds.. That will make the King and Queen hate you..'' she said. ''We must find the leader Sashia'' Elsbeth spoke and took a hold on the sword that she had hung on her belt before entering this world and suddenly she was wearing her chest armor and pants with iron boots again. Sashia, still wearing a dress, summonded her own swords. ''Okay.. That probably is the Roc.. But we can not kill them'' she said. Elsbeth blocked at that moment the first attack. ''Will they also not try to kill us?'' Elsbeth asked. Sashia grinned. ''Probably not'' she said.

Vanessa smiled and gave Gabriel a hug, it actually was something that just happened. And when she let go of him again she looked at him. ''I- I am sorry..'' she said, her face turning reddish and she looked down at the ground. ''Well.. I hope you guys can fix it.. You know where my apartment is and, small or not.. My door will be unlocked'' she said. She now looked at him again. ''I will be waiting at the end of the back streets for you... Probably around an hour or... 10 am'' she said. ''Then you guys have enough time to sleep and rest some'' she said.

Lesley laughed and nodded. ''Oh my.. You guys are strong!'' she said while lifted in the air. Even though the boys told her to go easy, she just didn't like strangers. But she let Vanessa do what she wanted. Lesley smiled and put her thumb in the air as Vanessa told Marcus what she thought of him.

When Marcus and Xaven where gone, Lesley walked to Vanessa and smiled. ''Oh.. That sounds like Xaven'' Vanessa said and smiled. ''Well.. Then I should thank you guys for helping'' she said and looked with a smile at them. When her eyes met Drake her last camp promise popped up in her mind. ''Oh! Drake.. I didn't keep my promise completely but.. I want you to meet Lesley, she is my best friend from college'' she said, wiggling her eyebrows at the word 'college'. She wondered if he still remembered her promise. Ralph did as he laughed some and shook his head. ''I missed you Nessie'' he said and walked into the house. Just as he walked in, he turned around and looked at Vanessa. ''I am still allowed right?'' he asked. ''You, Drake and Xaven are always welcome'' she said. ''Thank you!'' Ralph said and walked to the kitchen, he grabbed some drinks and whispered in there so only Xaven, Drake and Marcus could hear: '' I wonder what happened the moment Vanessa said to Marcus he couldn't come in.. You all must have felt it.. At least I suddenly got the feeling that Marcus was like... A stranger, like he was a wolf that is trespassing.. Can you explain that to us?'' he asked.

Marcus heard Ralph's question. ''I was going to yes.. Xaven.. It might sounds weird, mostly because you attacked her and you feel so much guilt for all you did the last five years... But Vanessa is your Alpha-female. As you know, You are the alpha of the three of you. All Alpha's have a female too, only one that they share their life with, get pups with and so on... Vanessa is yours.'' Marcus said. ''Not only thanks to that scar, which btw also has your blood on it.. But mostly because you love her and she is your Alpha, she can order us around.. Drake and Ralph might not have noticed it at first but when she told them to stop the cleaning.. All they could do was finish the thing they were doing and then just... Stop'' he said. ''I know, it all sounds really weird but it is the truth... Xaven, don't look at me so angry... You never had any other girl in your life the last five years... You kept thinking about Vanessa.. I believe that in the first year you tried to write at least a hundred letters to her'' he said. ''a hundred and fifty'' Ralphie said. ''I can actually not enter this house now, until she says that I can come in'' Marcus said and sighed.

''Oh and guys.. I came to see how you were doing... From a distance because I've never been far away from you all... I am not a pack type, but I am not someone that doesn't care'' Marcus said. ''I smelled Vanessa just as I wanted to go again so I decided to stay and see how this would work out... When Xaven, after trying to tell her that he was sorry without saying he was the one that attacked her, almost had made her his again on that couch I decided to come closer and try to get you into a chat... Because... If you now make love with her or have sex.. I don't care how you guys call it.. Well, It might make her more your alpha than you can understand now.. I've never seen it, as a lone wolf.. But they say that a human female, or male that becomes an alpha because a werewolf loves the person and they have sex. The male or female human get some of our perks.. Like: When you guys are wolfs, she can connect with you like you can with each other.. She won't understand you guys like in real conversations but she will understand any type of howl.. And she will learn to hear almost like us'' he said.

Vanessa looked around after a while and then walked away from the others and went to Xaven and Marcus. ''Are you guys done talking? It is almost end afternoon.. And even if I dislike you a lot.. You still must eat.. So I believe that you then can stay for lunch.. But after Lunch I want you to leave..'' she said. Marcus looked at Xaven. ''Okay, I actually brought some food with me for a lunch so we can use that'' he said. ''Okay, good idea'' Vanessa said and walked away again. Lesley and Drake were now inside too and they were cleaning the living room while Ralphie was collecting everything for the lunch. Vanessa looked back at Xaven and Marcus. ''Come on guys.. I can forgive Xaven for being a jerk and leave me.. So you guys at least go get that bone you fight about burried'' she said and winked, then she walked into the house and looked around a little better this time.

''But I want too'' Vanessa said with a smile. ''I have a good working shower.. You guys could take one, not because I think you are smelling weird but more to warm up.. Get a better feeling.. And I still have clothes from my older brother, and my father so you could put those on after it and the girl can wear something of me.. You could sleep well without having to stay alert'' she said. ''But.. I can not force you.. Just.. Think about it, give it a shot and well... maybe vote.. I don't know how you guys do that..'' she said.

''I'll leave my front door unlocked.. Tomorrow I am gonna search for you again and then you are all coming to see that other place.. Or.. I hope you all will join'' she said. ''And stop calling yourself or your friends Hobo's... You guys aren't hobo's..'' she said. Then she put her hand in her pocket and took out twenty dollar. ''That man that was with you.. He is good with flowers.. I finished his flower piece and this is what someone paid for it, I want you guys to have it'' she said.

''I want to help you because of that connection and you would never abandon your friends, I know it in how you take care for them and they for you'' Vanessa said. ''And.. I am not just working at that flower shop.. I own it.. It's mine.. And.. I also own a house in the forest a half day driving away from here.. It belonged to my parents but... They died a long time ago... I am 22 years old btw'' Vanessa said with a smile. ''And.. Around the house there is a 3 miles ground that is also ours'' she said.

She saw that he was about to leave and she grabbed him by his shoulder. ''Don't leave.. Please..'' she said. ''Or.. get your friends.. It might be a little tight but you guys can come sleep in my apartment'' she said. ''A big.. sleep over?'' she said with a smile. ''Weatherman said it's gonna rain... If I leave now without you and your friends.. I'll be back here in thirty minutes with everything I can find to help you guys'' she said. ''I wanna do something good..'' she said.

Vanessa was a little shocked to see him land in front of her and she looked up at the sky. ''Where did you..?'' she asked after he had asked her his question. She looked him in the eyes and took a step forward, she took his hands in hers. ''Yes... Or... No... I don't know for sure.. But I keep having this weird feeling, like that I should know you.. It kinda feels like I wanna remember you but I actually don't know you..'' she said. ''It's weird.. But please.. Let me help you.. You and your friends.. I have a place where you guys are safe from those other guys'' she said.

She knew that it was weird to actually invite him, a total stranger, and his friends, more strangers, to the house of her parents. But she felt like she could help him, like she had to help him. ''I keep having the feeling I just explained to you.. But.. If you don't want a thing to do with me then, please say so'' she said and let go of his hands.

Lesley looked at him. ''Are you now asking me if I get laid enough?'' she said with a eyebrow raised. ''That is so rude!'' she then claimed but giggled. ''I like it.. Pretty straight forward to the thing you wanna know'' she said and then shook her head. ''You are a good guy Drake, you both are'' she said and from both guys she claimed a arm as she hooked hers around theirs. ''Come.. Let's see how Xaven and Vanessa are doing'' she said.

Vanessa giggled as he had her in his arms and had kissed her again. When he walked towards his room, she saw the open front door. ''Oh my god.. Xaven...'' She said and pointed to the door. Not only could she see Drake, Lesley and Ralph trough the window next to the door. In the door opening stood Marcus. ''You..'' she said. She broke free from Xaven's arms and got back on her feet. ''You took him from me'' Vanessa said. Marcus was surprised.

''Hi nephew'' he said. Vanessa pushed against Marcus. ''You are not welcome here'' she said. Lesley heard Vanessa as they were not that far away from the house and when she saw the big man with long black hair, she unhooked her arms from the guys and ran back. ''Vaness!'' she said. Marcus walked back. ''I am sorry Vanessa, it was for your own safety'' he said. ''My own safety? To hell with my own safety!'' she said. ''I don't allow you in my house, I ban you from it'' she said.

Marcus frowned and sniffed. ''Show me your back'' he said. Vanessa raised a brow. ''You wanna see my scar?'' she asked. ''I would like to see it yes'' he spoke. Vanessa took of her jacket and turned around. Drake, Ralph, Marcus and Lesley could see the scar. Marcus walked towards it and used his wolf eyes and sighed.''Xaven, a word please?'' he asked but when Xaven pointed to the living room he shook his head.''I can't go there'' he said and walked away. Vanessa looked at Ralph and Drake. Drake and Ralph looked at each other and then at Vanessa. ''Don't look so angry at us.. We don't know anything'' Drake said. ''It's okay..'' Vanessa said with a smile and walked to the boys, she putted on her jacket again and gave them a hug. ''I missed you guys'' she said.

Vanessa smiled and liked to see how they ate the food she had prepared. When everything was gone she smiled and got up. She took their plates and walked inside, placing them down. She opened the fridge and got out the ice coups and the vanilla whipped cream. With care she did some whipped cream on the ice cream and then served them. ''Strawberry and Chocolate ice cream with self made Vanilla ice cream'' she said with a smiled and placed them in front of her guests with a dessert spoon. Then she sat down next to Kade again. ''If I was you, I would accept that offer for the B&B'' she said. ''It is a nice place and I helped during the summers here'' she said with a smile. ''And, once I got my location and I can start building I can always use someone strong to help me'' she said with a smile.

She listened to Kade's idea about the great wall of china. ''Sure, it was beautiful when I was there.. Seeing the sunset in china feels really... Different or it did for me'' she said. ''Well, maybe then we go too China.. But first lets get some money together for the journey.. I didn't mind sleeping under a sky full of stars so now and then but I don't want you to sleep under it too young lady'' she said with a wink.

Mia smiled. ''I know he has done a lot of things wrong Jimmy'' she said and looked at him. ''But people cán change, you know that'' she said. ''Jimmy, those buttons are worth $ 0,50 dollar cent or so'' she said. ''Keep that in your pocket or I am gonna throw them back at you, Officer'' she said with a giggle and then stood straight again. ''I'll see you next time Jimmy'' she said and turned around. At her door she turned back. ''Or do you feel like drinking that glass of wine you've promised to come drink like.. five weeks ago?'' she said and raised her eyebrow. He probably would say no, he always said no when he was working but she could try. She was home alone, as always and they didn't have a pub in Red Lake to go for a drink, only the dinner. She waited for him to answer and leaned against her shop door.

Elsbeth entered her first portal, the one from Sashia and looked around. ''The Eagle kingdom?'' she asked herself and looked around. It was different than last time she had been there and when she looked at herself, she saw that she wasn't wearing her pants with a half skirt and top without sleeves anymore but a long dress that she used to wear when she wasn't on a journey. She did a few steps forward and the portal disappeared. ''Okay, no going back...'' she said and then started to walk further toward the big castle.

It was soon that she was detected by some eagle warriors and they landed in front of her. ''Who is the one in front of me, rushing so fast to the castle of our great king Caspian and queen Deirdre?'' the guard said. Elsbeth was a bit surprised but when she heard the names she knew a little bit more of the time she was in. Those where the new parents from Anne! Elsbeth thought of something, speaking the truth was going to be different because she wasn't born yet but lying could cause big trouble. ''I am future queen of Draconia, Elsbeth Dragonclaw'' she said. The guards looked at her. ''And why are you here? Are you traveling with Princess Sashia Fertar?'' he asked. ''No.. But I do need to see her'' Elsbeth said and the eagles looked at each other and then gave her passage to the castle.

Inside the castle, Elsbeth looked around. ''Welcome Princess Elsbeth'' Queen Deirdre said. ''Thank you my queen'' Elsbeth said and bowed down. ''What can we do for you?'' she asked. ''I am in a search for Sashia Fertar, I need to speak with her'' she said. ''Well, she is about to leave to go back to her own kingdom'' King Caspian said. ''Thank you sir, please excuse me and accept my apologies for disturbing your rest'' she said. ''It is alright princess'' the queen spoke and Elsbeth left to find Sashia.
