Paisley tightened her grip a little more, just for kicks, "You know, if I wasn't such a good person, I would snap your neck right now." She put her other hand on the back of his neck and ever so slightly twisted to show him she wasn't kidding, "I don't want to ever hear you say something like that to me again. Do you understand?" Paisley didn't even look at Iris.
Paisley's smile faded slowly. She had had all she could take with this idiot. The arm that had been looped around his shoulder quickly wrapped all the way around the boys head, effectively putting him into a head lock. Her eyes held no more amusement but instead were vicious, "Say that again." Her words were laced with warning but part of her wanted him to speak so she could break his neck. What right did he have to say that no guy would ever love her? Did he know how traumatizing those words were? Did he even care? Maybe she would break his neck even if he didn't say anything.
Paisley grinned wolfishly, "It seems I've been found out. I won't lie. The thought have crossed my mind before." She shook her head sadly, her eyes betraying her amusement, "Oh Fabine. Can anyhing pierce that heart of his? It's like a rock!" Paisley then looked down at Xavier again, mischief in her green eyes, "You'll find her." It sounded like a promise but she was only joking. To be honest, she didn't give a rip whether or not he found 'the love of his life'. True love was all baloney anyways.
Paisley was quiet for a moment. If they decided to kill each other it wouldn't be loud... It would be quiet. She wondered why she thought that. She shook her head and looked down at Xavier with a smirk, "You know, you sound exscatly like Fabine didn before he met Evelyn. He was always saying how love is a weakness. It took him falling in love for that mentally of his to change. Maybe one day, when you find a nice girl, you'll understand too." She stuck her tongue out at him. That's when she saw Fabine and chuckled, "Looks like it wasn't option one... But it doesn't seem to have been option two either."
Paisley put a hand over her heart, a wounded expression on her face, "Harsh." To be honest, she had no desire to have a boyfriend so his comment really didn't get to her that much. Though calling her annoying did sink in a little too far. Was she annoying? Did everyone think of her as such? She schooled her expression into one of amusement before her thoughts could show on her face. She sighed and put her left arm around the boy's shoulders, "You know how it is. Love changes people. Fabine and Evelyn went into his tent and haven't come out yet. That means they either killed each other or worked it out." Her lips pressed into an amused line, "Don't expect him to be doing much with her around."
Paisley flicked his forehead with her pointer finger. She smirked viciously. Oh how she wanted to strangle that kid, "I never took credit for her kill idiot. Maybe you should get your facts straight before you try to start an argument." She looked at him with sparp green and shook her head mockingly, "Tsk Tsk Xavier."
Paisley smirked at his reasoning. It was a little out there but she could tell that he was joking with her, "Wow. I didn't know boredom could kill. Who knew?" She scowled as her food was stolen by the younger boy and resisted the urge to put him a headlock for taking her meal, "Find your own food shorty. I worked hard to get this."
Paisley went on a mission to find some food. She knew that Evelyn had brought down a deer eailer but that had already been picked over. She headed over to where the Brom's kept there supplies and was delighted to find some dried deer meat. She took the bag that it was in and munched on the meat as she walked around camp. Boredom was already setting in and she couldn't start a fight because of arm.... Paisley sighed as she ate the dried deer meat, "So bored..."
Paisley woke from her little nap refreshed. She sat up in the cot and grunted as the pain shot through her upper body. She had forgotten about her shoulder. Slowly so she didn't cause herself any more pain, she got off the cot and stood before her clothes chest. She opened it with her good hand and pulled out a chance of shirt and pants. She stitched her soiled blue top for a black muscle shirt- it was one of her favorites- and ripped up skinny jeans. When she had finished redressing herself, she replaced the knives she had lost in the fight earlier and eased her leather jacket back onto her shoulders. Paisley quickly brushed her hair, braided it into a braid as best she could, and let the tent.
Paisley waved her arm signaling she had heard him, "No problem kid." She walked across the camp to where her tent was located. She entered quietly and closed the flap behind her. Once she was inside she flopped onto her for cot for some shut eye. She was exhausted from today's events and she cold really use a good nap. As soon as her eyes were closed, she was asleep.
