@BlizzIt's a good start. Kaze's right, though. That mass/velocity thing ain't gonna cut it. I'll give you a good example with the first character introduced in the book, my brother's main hero, Axel Tenno. His power is metal manipulation with the weakness of wood. His power is harder to use near wood and cannot be used if he's touching it. Does that make more sense?
@ArenaSnowRokku and I can help him with that.
This was originally my brother's idea, we will be running this together.

The military: an institution of justice, known for protecting justice in our country. It keeps us safe from the heretics and the blasphemers, but what does it do behind closed doors? The military is well-known for various scandals through the years, such as the biological warfare experiments tried on POWs, but nothing they have ever done could compare to their most recent endeavor. Kidnapping children to use as lab-rats.

It's been 16 years since the first newborns were stolen from the hospitals. They didn't stop there, though. With these children, they began testing on them, turning them into living weapons. However, they didn't stop there. More and more children were taken every year.

When the children became old enough, and their testing was completed, the lab's head, Dr. Irvine Schroder, would offer them a job, first as one of the guards, what the patients called the "corrupted", then, once their research was complete, as a soldier for any country willing to buy them.

However, there's a group of children working towards escaping the lab. These kids are slowly doing what they can, gaining information, getting a plan together. A plan that requires doctors.

Now, who are you?

There are 6 possible classes for chars-

-Adults- (25+)

Doctor - They run the tests on the patients.
Nurse - They assist the doctors or sometimes run tests themselves.
Guard - They lead the patients through the halls to their different appointments as well as bring them their meals.

-Children- (6-16)

Patient - The majority of the children in the lab.
Solitary - Children that don't play with others or have proven to be a danger to others.
Corrupted - They are children that have gotten their powers and joined the forces of the guards for a certain reason.

Each child can have up to 3 powers. Keep in mind the more powers you have, the weaker they are. The powers must have limits and weaknesses. Similar powers will be more likely accepted when matched.

Also, Rokku is writing a book based on this idea with some of the others. If you wish to help with the book, send a private message to RokkuHoshi with your character. Before you write your chapter, please read the previous chapters this link here.
I'm in. Pretty sure Kaze and Rokku will be making their returns too.
"I'm not asking you to hand her over," Jessica said, frowning, "I just want to talk to her. I might be able to get some helpful information." With a smile, she looked at the girl. "After that, we can drop her at the next town and let her work her sentence." She smiled softly, hoping he would see the logic behind her reasoning. "After I get the information we need, I can tell you where all her friends are hiding. This group was too small to be working alone."

Oh, and where did he get this forge from? They don't come cheap either. There's also the issue of knowing what raw ingredients to use - you can't just melt down the bumper of a car and re work it into a gun. I mean, if you somehow managed it, it would make for a crappy ass gun at that.

From what he told me, his father's family has always been forgers, they know how to make and use a forge. Kaze also has been studying forges RL as he wants his own one day. Why buy an expensive forge when you can buy the pieces to make your own?
@Belwicket

Those guns shown were not made from scrap metal - no way in hell. They're made from new metal, and made to look more flashy than actually work well.

Yeah, melted down in a forge.
@KazeXDZ

Right, what's with the obscure monsters? You swap out a Crocotta for a Leprechaun? Why would you think that's any better? You don't need seven different species - in fact, the more species in a single group, the less likely I can see them working together in such a decent way that they manage to take out a family of seasoned hunters. Get rid of the Leprechaun, and don't even think about putting some other uncommon monster in there - just throw in another Djinn or Shapeshifter.

Ex-Military Mother I can deal with, but the Father as a weapon's smith? Creating guns like the ones you've listed? No, that's just a lazy-ass way of explaining how they got those ''super-cool video game'' guns. Not only is it extremely unlikely, but you still haven't explained why they would waste so much money on them, simply for aesthetic. Hunter's are not rich people. I also want the sniper changed.

Speaking of richness, why do you insist on your car having a modified engine? How modified is it? Why is it modified? Why does it need to be modified? Any modifications cost money, something that hunters don't have an abundance of.

Look, as stated in the OOC, I'm wanting some realism in this roleplay. Nobody cares about how flashy or high-tech your equipment is; it just needs to work well enough to kill monsters. Start putting some more thought in your character, please; this isn't some free roleplay where the guy with the biggest gun wins.

I'll talk to him. He doesn't like normal. I can tell you that they can use scrap metal from a car lot like Bobby's to make the guns.

Can't think of a way it would make sense in the context. Why would an elf have wings?

Unless there's a very plausible, detailed and sense-making explanation behind it... not really something that would fit in the context.

(Yes, yes, I know the whole then why do demons/angelsorcs exist in the first place bit...)

They're just elves who evolved differently. I can just keep her out of this.
No winged elf

Just out of curiousity, why no winged elf?
