So you open the door and enter your bathroom, wash your hands for 20sec then close the door when u leave.Right, you touched the doorknob before and after the washing. The faucet too. It's all pointless.

Exactly. You should reply with "I'm very interested, let's move this over to skype ;)" Anything less and it shows you're not fully committed.

I've read too many Isekai game-like novels. So I'm always spamming crappy jokes with the hope that with time my Humor Skill will level up and I'll start spitting good ones.

Bio

The only thing I'm "sad" about is that the way my life is going, it's going to be a hellride with a disappointing and unfulfilling end. My road is set ahead of me and I feel powerless to achieve what I desire or even have peace of mind. Time is taken from me whilst my by the day depleting will for change and something better is draining away with it.-Someone actually wrote that.

Going over to the group it heard the monsters speaking a strange language, an all too familiar one. Suddenly it blacked out. The mental exhaustion formed during the last couple of days was too much for the wisp to keep blocking those memories from emerging. All it took was for it to lose balance once and they all came rushing in. As the wisp fell further down the depths of the lake, every memory from the past along with that of his death, deal with the devil and reincarnation came all at once.

As the darkness swallowed its vision so did numerous memories swallow its mind, shaping it to what it once was, who he once was.

Gaining conscience, he found himself in the ground. Quickly opening his eyes he took notice of all his surroundings. It would've been a lot more shocking if he didn't have any memories of the past days that he mindlessly spent around wasting time. Time. He had wasted too much time fooling around instead of completing his objective. But what did he aim to do? He already killed himself in his world and met the Devil. Instead of punishment he got another chance. Should he take this as a sign of redemption? Was he forgiven? No, the devil was using him for Its own amusement, he shouldn't read that much into it.

What about those notifications? Did they put a chip inside his brain or was it...magic? As much as he'd like to believe this was all some virtual reality or experimental technology, the fact was that he killed himself, met the Devil and was now a floating glowing ball of fur who ate crystals and weed and could launch orbs of energy. But what about the notifications? He tried to remember what his past self had seen and try to connect them with any changes that he experienced at the time.

He shouldn't get lost in his thoughts with people around and dangers everywhere. Looking at the others he spoke:"My name is Lorek and I was in active duty overseas until last year. What were your previous occupations?"
@Zeroth So can I write that my character regained him memories while floating above the lake collecting those greens? I know we're past that already but I want to add it in there before they meet up.

Already pushed this too much. I did that with his memories so my character could try all those stuff I wrote in the first post. In a role-playing sense he'd never do those things if he had his former memories.

Starving and out of MP, like a child after playing all day without rest or food. Exhausted and hungry it slowly made its way towards the pool. First, it needed some nourishment, then, to find more of those crystals. If it had to contest with others to get them, so be it. It had seen some of the creatures in here, especially the goblins. Something about them, their humanoid form seemed familiar and then again, their disgusting features and color looked revolting. How could something just born have such a strong distaste towards another creature without interacting with them? As it traveled across the pond collecting what greens it could find, it couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss.

The black like swirling mass of shadows around it felt closer than before, like it couldn't escape it for much longer.

After gathering sufficient nutrition it would levitate its way towards some crystals, fighting for them if it had to.
I don't know, when even greens look thin...are you hinting that Lorek should start eating animals now? I mean those pixies are about bite sized.
Right, got caught up in the writing and forgot.
Just listed the things it did as I didn't want to make you read 10+ paragraphs of convoluted it/its/itself. Just wrote it like that to show that it he still didn't have his memories back and as such was simply another ordinary wisp.
Well...not exactly ordinary.
-It used lesser force and levitation to spin in a forward vertical manner, imitating a wheel while picking up a rock and fire and water and some air and rotating them horizontally around it

Sonic the hedgehog in avatar state

Edit: And sorry about the goblin, I wrote it like that cause I planned for that to be an earlier kill before I got caught up with all of you. It ended up being near the end. I'll change it to leave it open for your insertion.
It came into this world wandering. Those are its first memories anyway. Floating around, instinctively avoiding any possible danger, it was all a blur until it suddenly gained enough conscience to act past its instincts. The first thing it sensed was the dark feeling surrounding him, it could feel a black snake made of sins past and temptation trying to guide it towards a dark future, or was it towards a dark past? It chose to ignore it nonetheless. Now that it was able to see, in its own way, the world around, it started exploring.

It felt attracted to the crystals that littered every part of the cave it found itself in. Trying to pick one up but failing, it instinctively used a mana orb out of frustration. The crystal let out an odd ringing sound and went dark as the light inside it died, then came the notification inside its mind. Not understanding the writing it ignored it although something about it was tugging at the back of its mind. Even if it couldn't read it felt the effects of its action, it felt drained. Picking up another crystal, now looser than the last one it consumed it and immediately felt rejuvenated. It ignored every other notification it got in its mind as it couldn't understand it yet. But this discovery opened up a whole new world to it.

-It started using its lesser force to climb around the cave pillars, consuming crystals along the way.
-It tried to levitate along the walls and the ceiling to see if it could do the same as in the ground. Simple push and pull right?
-It shot its mana orb to keep fairies away from it. That's friendly.
-It tried to use lesser force on its mana orb to keep it within reach or at least redirect it.
-It tried to simply expel a mana orb without giving it velocity so as just to hold it close with lesser force.
-It picked up a rock and used lesser force to rotate it around, trying to go as fast as ir could before letting it go. Would do the same with the mana orb if it managed the previous thing.
-It used lesser force to create a high pressure zone inn front of it before launching a crystal through it. Did the same with mana orb.
-It used lesser force and levitation to spin in a forward vertical manner, imitating a wheel, hopefully gaining some extra speed or added effect.
-It collected and laid crystals in a straight path and tried to continuously shoot mana orbs, as it passed crystals which restored its mp, while being a wheel.
-Did the same but now it spun horizontally like a saucer while moving in a circled path filled with crystals on the ground, again, to restore its mp while it shot mana orbs like a mad wisp.
-It did the same vertical wheel spinning motion but now it tried to pick up a rock and rotate it horizontally around it, while it tried to go sonic the hedgehog.
-Tried the same with water(and with air)
-It tried to focus its lesser force to a sharp point while doing the horizontally spinning motion close to a wall to see it's effect.
-Same with the vertical spinning, it checked the ground to see if any mark was left behind.
-Lastly it used lesser force to try to massage itself.
I wouldn't know how souls correlates to memory but I assumed that since his human soul was transferred inside the creature he'd have a faint sense of what his old self would do, like a guiding compass with no signs and his memories would constantly try to catch up. Just wanted to keep this up a little just for the beginning.

And yes, all the actions would be general experimentation. Was just wondering if I'd do that for everything or ask about some stuff.
So I'll ask.

-I remember reading in an IC post that wisps could be physically hurt. So are they somewhat between half corporeal and half spirit? Cause you described them as "A floating orb of magical energy" so I wouldn't guess that to be corporeal without reading a post.
-Do they take fall damage?
-Do they need to breathe, sleep, other basic human needs?
-Does a normal wisp have the same intelligence as a human? Say, if we reach the final evolution choosing a form that has the highest possible intelligence among all other evolutions, do our human memories and origins affect that intelligence? The characters are already more intelligent than the creatures so they basically override some negative features, does that apply to positive ones too?

And for the encounters, wanted to borrow a goblin and possibly 2 fairies just to showcase the personality of the wisp.(they are gonna die)
Or I can just write the first days as "dodging and avoiding all conflict" while experimenting.
@Zeroth So I am planning to start a post and was wondering if I am allowed to write my own combat scenarios and how my character deals with them to make up for the lost time.

Am thinking of just writing random actions expected of a newborn exploring the world around as I am role playing my character like he is trying to escape his memories in this new world. So he won't be regaining them anytime soon, unless him remembering them after a fixed time is compulsory.

The actions that I plan for my character to perform will mostly consist of "accidental happenings" that reveal something about his:
1. Magical abilities and different interactions between them and how they affect the outside world
2. How his body reacts to outside physical stimuli, to his magic and many other things in general, his properties, what he is made of as to say
3. Any other thing that doesnn't fall under those 2 categories

So I'll have my character perform a bunch of actions and adding:"the effects resulting from what he did are noted" and just pile these up so you can give your verdict in the end to what actually did something.

Or can I just ask you in OOC for this stuff. Just wanted to clarify the separation of things that can be asked and things that can only be learned like spell combinations.
