Bump.
It's not suppose to be actual characters, the original CS are suppose to be handled with care, and the new elements made the focus. If that is still a problem, i AM( cannot emphasize that enough) willing to redo the plot if everyone agrees I should.

( maybe I should edit a bit. Give me some till morning? ( anyone interested in helping is also welcome to volunteer)
The year is 2085, and the human race has been decimated. The enemy? A disease the likes of which mankind has never before seen. It starts with confusion, that quickly turns to frustration and rage. Soon the infected have gone insane, which is when they begin a psyical transformation. The host grows freakishly stronger than they were, turning even the scrawniest host into a world class bodybuilder. Then the host begins to sprout razor sharp pitch black fur all over their bodies. This fur, along with the razor sharp fangs, and ten inch razor sharp claws, make them damnable effective killers. They also grow in size, easily ten feet taller than their hosts were. One of the final changes is the pitch of their eyes. They go from the original pitch of their host to blood red. While these eyes are more effective during the night by far than a humans, they have difficulty seeing during the day.

Very little was discovered about this disease. No one knows where it originates, or what might even begin to cure it. What is known, however, is the way it spreads. At first it spread through exchange of blood. Then, when the virus mutated, it began to effect all those over 18. It soon became the goal of the few remaining adults to educate the children to fend for themselves, and the gifted amongst the children might discover a cure.

Where we begin: The year is 2200 and the remainder of humanity has split into tribes of children and teens, trying to survive day to day. Some do so by raiding other groups for their supplies; some are nomadic, going wherever the game takes them, and some, though few, have established towns. Our group has just been inherited by Brian Overstreet, a 17 year old who is the oldest in the groups history to inherit the role, but was chosen by the former Leader because he showed remarkable ability. The group was nomadic before Brian's predecessor took over and decided to set roots in a clearing of the forest that had once been Pittsburgh. With a lot of work our characters/ their mentors managed to establish a hamlet style community and build massive wooden walls for fortification.

They've built gardens within their borders, and farms. They have established trade routes with friendly neighbor tribes. They have established a military/police force to rival many tribes of the area. The weapons of the day are again swords and bows. While The Hamlet is largely based on a trade economy, Brian and his Council are working on establishing a currency and making good headway.

Their government is formed of a Leader, who acts as King, and his council who are elected by the people. While the Leader has ultimate say over the affairs of Hamlet, it is traditional to only supersede his councils decisions if it is of vital importance.

These councilors consist of; a councilor of Agriculture, and Farming who manages the food of Hamlet; Councilor of Education, who's office has the distinction to say has helped their tribes population attain a level of literacy not known of elsewhere; Councilor of war, who manages the army of Hamlet and makes war based decisions; and the Councilor of the interior who heads the police and make sure his peoples needs are being met. The leader chooses his replacement, usually a first born son/ daughter( children are had at a much younger age in order to maintain a viable population)when the first signs of the infection are upon him. Then he, as the rest of his people, are given the choice of exile or being put down.

The future of Hamlet is being severely put to the test, however, when several threat aris at once. There is a group of raiders to the north in an old skyscraper, that are vast in number, and have shown hostile intent. In an attempt to smooth relations with these raiders, Brian sent out several emissaries, but they never reported back. Shortly after this the raiders attacked the walls of Hamlet, and quickly pulled back. Seemingly testing their strength.

As if this weren't enough, an unprecedentedly large of group of Talls has been spotted by scouts to Hamlets south, slowly making their war north. Hopefully they will bypass the town, but a fight may be inevitable.

In addition to the plight of The War councilor, the Councilor of the Interior is having trouble maintains peace from within. The doors of Hamlet have been closed to traders and settlers alike, which hasn't happened since the town was built. This led to nervousness, which quickly led to demands for answers. These answers were leaked by an unknown soldier within the army, and quickly led to unrest amongst the populace. A split in opinion as to the course of action that needs to be taken has led to two groups. One that calls for the opening of the gates, and the evacuation of the population, and the other calling this group foolish. With the dozens of battles that the Hamlet has been through in the past, no one has successfully bypassed their walls. Opening the agates would be calling the Barbarians and Talls alike in to attack and kill every man woman and child within. These two groups have nearly come to blows on multiple occasions, and the police are struggling to maintain order. With the council in an uproar on what is to be done, the future of Hamlet is far from certain.
I know I said I would have this up forever ago, and I'm sorry, but who wants in still?

synopsis: Celestia has ruled in peace alongside her sister for millennia, but the story not known is the one who came before, Celestia and Luna's father King Titan. He ruled over all of Equestria and the other nations of Equestria with an Iron fist. His only care being his own personal enjoyment. He was cruel to all races, and treated their lives as important as that of an ant. Luna and Celestia, however, hated the treatment their subjects were being handled with, and rose against the King. With all of his overwhelming power, however, they were no match on their own. Thus they called on the powers of the elements of harmony, and deposed their father.

The elements, however, do not kill. Their father was inprisoned deep in the planet, within a magical stasis. There he stayed for 5000 years as his daughters ruled In peace. Like all good things, however, it did not last. The King has managed to escape, and attacked Equestria with thousands of years of pure rage. The elements were the only way to stop his terrible power. Unfortunately the mane six were no longer able to use them. Fluttershy had died of a mysterious ailment the likes of which had never been seen. The King was undefeatable. Celestia, however had never been one to abandon the fates of her subjects. Shiortly before she and her sister led a contingent of royal soldiers into manehatten for a final showdown with their father, she enacted a plan. She sent a bulk of the royal military, led by Shining Armor, with Twilight Sparkle and Cadence to Fillydelphia to make the last haven for the good and the light in the world. Applejack came with her family and became the leader of resource management of Fillidelphia's food and water. Rarity came, and became a designer of what eventually became known as New Equestria's army uniforms. Her parents were unwilling to leave their home behind, but as good as begged her to take Sweetie Belle, which made her sister more like a daughter. Pinkie Pie came and became leader of Morale. Which gave her leave to use the limited rescources for her parties. This created a rift between her and Applejack. Her calling Applejack a no fun sour puss and Applejack calling her dangerously frivolous. Twilight became co ruler, with Cadence, and Shining armor as her fellow leaders of New Equestria. She perfected many wartime spells, which she would have never thought herself capable, but most importantly she perfected her own shield spell as well as perfecting the spells of her brother and Cadence. While they were not responsible for the raising and lowering of the sun and moon, the new improved and impenetrable shields did give everything a specific hue as they were much richer in color. Pinkish purple in the morning when Cadence had taken over, light green when shining armor took over in the early afternoon to sundown, and dark purple from sundown to early morning when Twilight ruled. Rainbow Dash stayed in Old Equestria and founded the Celestial Resistance with Scootaloo as her lieutenant. Scootaloo had to beg Rainbow to let her join, but with her parents having been executed for speaking ill of the King, making her an orphan, Dash could hardly refuse.

Laws within Equestia have been cruel under the King. All three races, in order to ensure their subservience have been forced to follow three new laws. Unicorns must have a magical restraining collar surgically embedded on their necks, earth ponies must wear weighted clothing at all times, and Pegasi must have their wings clipped to disable their flight. All of this is suppose to be done within their early foal hood, before they can learn to resist it, but it is not always successful. Some unicorns are powerful enough to overwhelm the collars, though few.

The state are working on the collars to decrease the amount of practicing unicorns, but stopping their creation is one of the Celestial's top priorities so any progress is very slow. Pegasi, though the wing clipping is terribly effective, still observe their customs. Learning as much as they can about the weather that, since the King took over, has been allowed to occur naturally. They are as inteligent and capable in their predictions as the Pegasi who actually created it were. Earth ponies, as always, are hard working and determined as a rule. The weighted clothes had little inpact on their strength. In fact, it has helped them grow stronger. A fact of which the state is most nervous. It has even been discussed to wipe them out, but they are the most, and truly only ones, capable of growing a substantial enough amount of food to maintain the population. In fact they're so indispensable they supply New Equestria with food. Though, when caught, the individuals currently transporting the food are punished with a slow death, they are never punished as a whole as the other races are. Unless the King himself decrees it is to his amusement and joy. As he could care less if his population is fed, and besides knowing that it is not in the nature of Earth Ponies to let their neighbors starve.

20 years passed with the rift between the former element bearers making it seem as likely the elements would never again be usable. Added to that fact the Celestials, led by an aged and darkened Rainbow, were losing ground all the time to the King's Guard ( a newly formed version of the royal guard) it seemed as if peace and a happily unified Equestria were foolish dreams. Each former element held in their possession an inert rock that had once been the elements of harmony. Unmoving, ordinary rocks, until one day. One day when the rocks again began to glow. The Element Bearers were again in Equestria. Only it wasn't the original mane six anymore. No their role was to set aside their differences, and cooled hatred, and work together to find their replacements, and the future saviors of Equestria.

Our plot: all of the current mane six aside from flutter shy (obviously) would be NPCs heading into Equestria which would be a tolterian state. Most would hate each other, as their various jobs have brought them into various conflicts time and again. Rainbow, however does not hate any of them., and misses them a great deal having been too busy with the resistance to visit.

We will play as one of the new mane six (I'm open to possible new elements ( as every rule is breakable with me) if you make it very interesting) who are all in Ponyville. The mane six have no idea who the new elements are, so they must covertly watch for them. Our six have a great deal of interaction just as normal citizens within Ponyville, but then the King comes to town. He six random citizens of the town to entertain him, so he gives every pony an ultimatum. He has hidden a statue somewhere in the Everfree forest. If the random six manage to find it their town will be lavished in riches and freedoms for a whole year. However, if they can't then every stallion mare and colt will be executed. Enter the element bearers.

I think eventually we will get through this plot, and I hope so. I have a future planned for this.

This is a grim dark, but not like Rainbow Factory Scale. If that's ten times darkest than the original source, this is suppose to be 5. Maybe a little more, or a little less.
I expect at least two full paragraphs a post. Decent grammar and spelling. And a detailed and coherent CS
you MUST be true to the personalities of your PCs and that of the NPCs as well
Elements from the show ONLY
Name must be mlpish. Nothing like Fred, or Greg
What do you guys/ gals think?
I have RISE posted. I guess I should have posted it here instead *blush* sorry it so long, but I'm pretty happy with the result. Anyway I'll have it reposted in this thread soon, then you guys can see for yourself. Also gonna go back and read the posts that were here when I was away. I'll see to you guys soon.
Anybody? I have really big plans for this((( probably gonna give this one more day to attract at least one more RPer, before I focus on another project I have tikin away in my head.
Bump one more time.
I'm planning to make a character, but if I may make a suggestion? The creatures within this RP suggest to me that it needs to be rich in horror elements, much more so than fantasy elements, though those must be present as well. ( not trying to tell you what to do, honest. Just trying to help a bit.)
