Legs crossed, Tori listened to majority of the club members introduce themselves. Most of them were new to the school, which Tori couldn't tell was good or bad. If they were new then they wouldn't be aware of her popularity status. How would people judge Tori just on her personality alone? Would they hate her, think she was annoying or love and enjoy her company? While Tori didn't want people to view her as perfect, she hadn't thought of the idea of becoming a nobody. Would that be the result of joining this club? She looked around the room of students.
The club president, Andy Anderson. Obviously, he wasn't afraid to show his passion and love for the Supernatural. It didn't even matter that the entire school was making fun of him behind his back. He did want he believed in. Where did he even find the courage to do that? Unlike Tori, Andy knew exactly who he was.
Who was Tori? She certainly didn't know. Maybe joining this club could find her an answer?
Absorbed in her thoughts, Tori didn't hear the majority of the group's comments. She awoke from her daydream to hear a girl, who later called herself Theresa, speak up.
"Hey boss... Are we going to head out to find this-" Theresa finger quoted,
"-Haunted toilet? Or are we going to sit around and see who can come up with the snarkinest comments?" Wow... A lot of people in this club were certainly rude... What was the point of even coming to this meeting if you were going to be skeptical? For some reason Tori's anger was starting to bubble. Andy had taken a big risk by creating this club. Tori had already heard 'her crowd' discuss several childish pranks to play on him. She still couldn't believe how much courage he had. Tori felt a small blush forming on her cheeks.
NO. NO. NO. ABSOLUTELY NO. She screamed at herself. Victoria Harris didn't have crushes, people had crushes on her. Keeping clam, Tori flipped her hair back and reapplied her pink lipstick.
How could Tori have been so silly? All she did was admire him for his bravery; it had nothing to do with liking him. She was freaking Victoria Harris for goodness sake. It was a huge no for her to even think about liking him.
What was I thinking? The room must just be hot or something. Tori reassured herself countless times that it was nothing past admiration until she believed it herself. Afraid she would say anything stupid, Tori kept quiet for most of the introductions.
