.

"Let us go and we'll talk this out, huh?" He then looked up to Phil. "What do ya say?" He asked. Serena watched the men carefully. They didn't seem like evil people, the only dangerous aspect about them was the guns. But now that they were gone... The only thing she wanted was to avoid violence, that's all. Serena was about to will the vines to let go of them when Phill spoke up.

"Okay, I'll tell you what. Tell me who you are and I'll ask my associate here to let you go..." He then turned to the elementals and stated "Calm down, I don't know what contact any of you have had with Vygorn but these are certainly not them. For a first, none of them seem to know what we are AND they haven't used any void abilities."

Phil's words were completely right. What Serena didn't understand is how they found out about this place. Wasn't it supposed to be rundown and long abandoned?

Phil then walked up to the man who he previously talked to."So, let's start with brief introductions. My name is Phil, I am a Hygorn, also known as an elemental. You are..." Phil said

"Gary..." he said with a sigh. "We're Junker Squad, and we're Renegades. An activist group openly fighting the Vygorn scum." He said with spite at the mention of Vygorns. He then looked at his team mates. "Stop struggling guys, they'll let us go." Gary said to reassure Junker Squad. "We're still going to take our weapons back though. But we'll keep our bargain to remain peaceful, okay?"

The weapons again? Why were they so concerned about holding something that could stop the heart of another being? Serena could never do such a thing, nor could she keep them trapped with their arms any longer. With a nod, the vines returned to the ground, but taking the weapons with them.

"Gary, I really sorry for hurting you all," She said, taking a step forward, hoping he would understand, "Weapons are deadly though, you could kill someone with it. I don't think you need them to talk with us." Serena's mind felt trapped in an endless maze, and no matter which way she went, the decision was always bad. Would being a so called elemental be like this? How could she be one and not hurt anyone? I have to find a way.... I just have to. She promised herself.
Serena willed thorn vines to grow from the ground in front of the men surrounding them. The vines wrapped around the guns positioned in the men's hands, and returned to the ground.

I actually wrote for the vines to take the weapons and return to the ground, not trap the men. XD :P Oh well, that's fine though. I'll go with it.

I live in southern Alabama. Well, kinda southern. Just north of Birmingham, in a little place that you'd probably have trouble finding on a map. right smack in the middle of the bible belt where everyone thinks guys should value sports and 'I can run a football 100 yards' over a good education :/

Actually, I've graduated college this semester~ xD
It was a community college, since that's all I could afford, but on the bright side, I am the first person ever in my family to have a degree in anything~!

And I'm 21, with a degree in law enforcement. I'ma try to get into the police academy this summer, if I can. Might have to wait until next year, unfortunately though if I missed the dates for the applications, since they might do those a year in advance. If that's the case, I'ma have to find another job at least until next year....

which, unfortunately, I have never been able to find one since most are cash register things...and I am not, I repeat, not, a people person.

...I'm kinda, really, a grumpy jerk in real life xD
I am not good at anything involving customer service~ xD

Also, need to start running in the mornings possibly. uuugh. Exercising is not my strong suit xP

Congratz on graduating! I'm sure you'll do great! I doubt you're a 'grumpy jerk' and if you are, the only thing you can do to be nice is try.

Sports...gross.

5. Megs, you're a bigger person than me. I couldn't do a pie in the face. Just thinking about it made me want to go wash my face. I don't like sticky things, alright? If everything can just be clean forever, life will be good, yeah?

Haha, well it certainly is sticky, but the laughter and happiness around you when a pie smashes into your face is completely worth it. I still took at least two showers though lol.

“Fuck this. I-I don’t need th-this.” Brody mumbled before kicking a table over and storming out of the classroom in an emotional and depressed manner. Tori's eyes blazed with anger and disappointment at Lillith. What in the world was wrong with her? Hateful and nasty comments should stay locked up in your mind but they should never be lashed out against someone And Tori knew better than anyone else... Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will always hurt you. Words she always tried to remember.

“Uh. On that note, why don’t we head on over to the bathroom to check it out? Not to do anything yet, because I don’t know if we’re ready to fight off a vengeful spirit. But if we just go in for a while, in a group, and look, then it shouldn’t bother us unless we bother it. Shall we?” Andy led the Spirit club to, what he believed to be, the haunted bathroom. Tori had heard the rumors too, mysterious disappearances and whispers of someone committing suicide. It seemed a bit misleading and only imaginary, but Tori wasn't going to voice her opinion. She was giving this club one month. Only one month. Tori wasn't sure exactly what she was looking for, or why this club held the answer, but she hoped the club's mix of unique personalities would cause the student body to not act as though she was perfect. Just one month.

“We’re not going to bother the ghost,” Andy warned, sneaking a look into the bathroom,“We’re just going to check things out, okay?”

Was he being serious? Tori wasn't sure exactly what was going on. Surely the school would know if the girl's bathroom was haunted, right? It was a little strange though that the administration hadn't looked into why no one ever used the bathroom. Couldn't they just remodel it into a computer lab or something?

“On second thought,” he said, raising his voice a little. “It looks like we’re going in after all. You can follow me, if you want. Or not.”

Andy tossed her and another girl a bag of... salt? You have got to be kidding me? Salt? What was salt going to do? She looked at him skeptically, unsure as how it could possibly solve anything. Once again though, she bit her tongue. One month. Sighing, Tori followed Andy into the bathroom.

“Salt repels ghosts,” he said matter-of-factly, grinning ruefully. “Well, temporarily. If you’re coming, you can be in charge of that. If not, give it to someone else.” If you say so...

Tori felt a chilled wind slither through her and she rubbed her arms for warmth. It's just a coincidence right? Why is it so cold? Andy picked up a shiny watch, the exact watch Brody had been wearing. What kind of joke is going on? An uneasy feeling made Tori glance around in caution. She even cracked open the bag of salt, just in case. Now you're scared? What is wrong with you? It was strange for Tori to get this creeped out, but something wasn't right.

“This isn’t good,” he said. “Brody was here. And now, somewhat obviously… he’s not.” Brody said, and Tori couldn't agree more. What had gotten into her?

"... The butt ghost musta got him! What ever shall we DO!? Or maybe, he took a dump in the haunted toilet and it sucked him innnnnnnn! Ha!"

"Well duh. After that comment Lillith made, the guy probably was upset. We all know Brody's a sensitive wittle baby~" She giggled. "He probably was upset and left. Case closed." She shrugged, obviously happy with her conclusion of current events.

Tori should have been laughing with them, taking this as a joke, but for some odd reason she wasn't. Whether it be the goosebumps crawling up her arms, the shiny watch sitting in Andy's hand, or the jittery feeling inside her, Tori knew this wasn't right.

"Sidney, aren't you cold?" Tori asked, rubbing her arms again, "I'm not sure I believe in ghosts, but something just feels off," She said, hoping Sidney would take her seriously.

*sigh*

Man, my schools never let us do anything cool. Everything was faculty run because us kids obviously had no idea what we wanted to do and couldn't run things ourselves, right?

ugh.

it was the faculty run clubs, and you were forced to be in one. Which kinda made everyone hate the clubs because they didn't have any clubs some people liked. Unless you were in football or athletics.

Then, you got a free pass to do whatever you wanted to :/

....yeah, highschool. fun.

At least college was much better xP

Awww :( I'm sorry, that's sound terrible. Sports... gross. Thankfully my school has the IB program, so it's an equal balance between education and sports. They love us both :P We're actually rated number one in our state. Woo!

But you're in college?! Woahh! That's super cool. I'm only a sophomore in high school. What did you major in?
<Snipped quote by BlueAjah>

Wow, you sound super dedicated. That's so great!!!

And thanks! I'm sure as heck gonna try~!! Though maybe not shaving stuff off. The only problem is that I'm pretty much the only one in the whole club who even cares about it and isn't just going for the co-curricular credit, sooooo. T-T

Wait, no, there's another problem. My brother's going to be coming in as a freshman next year, and I REALLY don't want him to lose all respect for me. He's still in his cute stage... XD

Oh well~!! Anyway, I'm off to bed. Niiiight~!!!

Go for it! You're brother will love it! XD Nighttt!!

....

Man, I wish my school had awesome clubs like yours :/

also, posted. Got kind of long so I may have cut it a bit short xP

My school allows us to have student led clubs so that's why we can do so much cool stuff. Although I'm still waiting to get permission to have a school lock-in to play hide-and-seek. They just won't approve :((
<Snipped quote by BlueAjah>

Okie-dokie, Megs it is~!!

And... woah. That's some dedication. Next year I'm going to be one of the co-leaders of my school's debate club, but I... don't think that they're gonna want me to do anything like that.

Debate club's pretty tame, I guess. The weirdest thing that ever happened to us is probably that there was one time at a debate tournament where I got asked on a date and then rapped about, but... even that's not THAT bad, and fairly out of the norm~?

I founded the club, it's my baby :P, I love doing crazy things for it. Pieing in the face isn't half of the weird stuff we do. Once they dumped a a garbage can full of ice water and dumped it on me. We raised about 50 dollars for charity, which is pretty awesome. It's amazing how much money people will pay to see you do weird stuff. Another time we sang and did random stuff at Barnes and Noble and raised over 1,000 dollars for our library!

That's awesome that you'll be one of the leaders for debate, congrats! You'll have a blast next year! Hmmm... maybe you can be the one who starts weird traditions!? The debate team's coach at my school shaved off his beard because they won state (or something like that :P).
<Snipped quote by BlueAjah>

You were getting PIED IN THE FACE?!

Wow, Blue. That's pretty cool. ...or do you prefer Ajah? XD

I'll probably post tomorrow, give a few more people a chance to go~!! :D

Haha thanks :P I'm president of the club so I had no choice XD And Blue or Ajah works, it doesn't really matter. You can call me Megs (that's my nickname in real life) if you want. :)
Sorry I haven't posted anything for awhile :( I was getting pied in the face at school for a Book Club fundraiser. I've taken two showers but I can still feel sticky stuff on my face. Ugh. I'll work on a post now though :D

"I wasn't on a job I was training," Sylvia sighed. "And as for world domination, I've obviously achieved such an easy feat as that." Slyvia put her arm around her, and Paige imagined a world with Slyvia at the top. It couldn't be that bad, right?"Everything the light touches is mine, and when I die... Everyone's going down with me."

On second thought... Paige was about to describe her wild day yesterday when Kassy hopped into a seat at their table.

"Oh, nothing. She may have or may not have just helped me out yesterday. Oh, and destroyed half the guild." Kassy said, letting go of the chair to point at the badly repaired hole in the wall. "Hey, I thought that kid said he was going to go get paint for that! The boards aren't even colorful yet..." Kassy said, answering for her. Paige grinned wickedly and glanced back at the beautiful master piece she had created yesterday.

"A day in the guild isn't complete without a little brawl. Plus, I think it looks better with the hole anyway," Paige said.

As Kassy introduced herself, Paige couldn't help but smile brightly. Before coming to the guild, Kassy had been a shy little girl who was intimidated by her own magic. Now, well now she was a strong, fearless girl. Paige couldn't feel more proud. While they had only recently met, she felt protective of Kassy as if they were sisters.

"Jeez Paige, you trying to kill everyone?" Sylvia asked.

"Of course not! I just thought the guild needed a little remodeling, it brights up the room, wouldn't you say so?" Paige winked and grinned.
