The rhythmic clopping of Able's grey and brown mare accentuated the tribal tunes he hummed as he traveled slowly onward. She was taken good care of for as much traveling as she has had to put up with. This thought in mind, Able gave her proud and gentle strokes down her neck. His gloved hand felt the dull shudder of her pelt moving steadily with her natural percussion against the earth. The other hand gripped reigns that lead from his wrist to an ornate saddle, proportionately more expensive compared to the horse. It bore a large gold skull with a flaming sun and crescent moon in the eye sockets on a large circlet at each side of her, the dreaded symbol of the Riddle Valley Bandits. The horse was more unique than it's rider appeared to be, being a man seeming of a small stature in the loose clothes that shrouded his entire person. The thankfully thin material kept him comfortable to the foreign lands heat and sun that radiated off of a sea of burnished gold sand. His wide-brimmed hat shielded everything of the sky except for the horizon, Where the top of the temple he was moving toward escaped to. His focused attention to it, as well as his favorite song of home, was broken by the surprise of distant silhouettes ahead of him. One must have used the same pillared bridge to achieve the practically linear path in his sight. Gleams of shimmering heat and metallic light distorted the blackened figure.

Strange, but no surprise, He scorned himself for the late thought. After coming from so far away and not expecting to be the last in line...

Able buckled the flaps holding the rogue signets into the actual saddle itself. Then, with energetic words and the heels of his tall boots, he took to the temple with the vigor of the company encroaching his intermediate destiny.

you can't blame him, he's lonely. and you girls might try to kill him if he gets friendly. >.>
Quite. Make it happ'n Cap'n.
no problem leviathan!
and I mentioned it a little in the other section. Able wants to do anything to restore his old way of life and kingdom. That could be being granted the power to take over their enemy nation, given the ability to block them of with the mountain sides and start anew that way, or maybe just a nice Shahadin girl to start the family line over again. The OOC is a lot more forthcoming for this character than the IC will be. I love good char development.
Xavier Cain, Gunner 1st class, at your service
I love that Silver Carrot just referenced Red Dwarf. That show is brilliant, hence he must be as well.

I also love space pirates, whether one ship or not, though I prefer a crew all of PCs. And as long as nothing is going in be as instantly fatal as space already is, I am open to the variables.
Appearance:
Often Able will braid his hair to manage it's length. He prefers clothes with calm natural colors (brown, tan, black, gray, green) that cover his person, including gloves.
He hides a body tattooed head to toe with an unintelligible script.

Name: Able Nithis (The Bandit King of Riddle Valley, The Scoundrel of Aviathon, The Shadow of Westend Palace, The Survivor of the Savagery in the East)

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Ancient Weapon: Mythrend (Halberd)

How did you find your ancient weapon?: In the mountain spring of Grandure, the tallest mountain in his small kingdom.

Personality: Able is a man of pride and purpose. He can be mistaken as cocky as the confident and outgoing man he is, but he is consistently humbled by a haunting past and made stern by a glimpse of his future. He tends to leave compassion at the attempt of reaching pure moral neutrality. On his best behavior, he can be a perfect gentlemen and still attempt to pick your pocket if the need arises. At his worst, Able would still pull you from the building he was burning to the ground. He is not in a constant argument over being a hero or villain, unlike the gossip over him is on the long trail he has tread behind him through time and several kingdoms. He is sure he is neither, or both, whatever.

History: The war of his people, the Shahadi, with their neighboring and much greater civilization had spanned longer than Able's lifetime. It was, yet still, the start of his legacy at the eve of his 18th year, when he would participate in the ceremony of becoming a man. This tradition, along with all others and the annals of history his people cherished, were all lost in a massacre of their society. They were mountain people with less to live off of and no need for more. They were prosperous and knowledgeable in their own right, though no one could know that now, even remember the name of the pitiful race. By the sunset of his birthday, Able was one of the few remnants left of his ruined home. He escaped the burning carnage by nearly drowning in the natural spring, clinging to his people's greatest and only "treasure" of war, Mythrend. He made his way west across the continent, with little but his own skillcraft to get him buy. Cunning and desperation led him into the care of Kings and the authority of the most infamous bandit troop in the northeastern hemisphere. Bravery and luck has made him, the rarest of men, a commonly heroic or villainous name wherever his endeavors have made a ripple. There are many places along his path he will never return to (or want to) again. All that matters is how close he is getting to the fable greater than his, at the eve of his 25th year, where he may finally seek solace.

Other: Mythrend is master crafted, not magic. the blade is detachable to leave a quarterstaff and scimitar separately. This helps not to draw attention to a man not armored like a warrior. Able wishes to give his people another chance. Whether this is by restoring his villages, or getting the power to take them from the bastards that got him here, he won't tell.
