“Where am I…” Elliot muttered as he opened his eyes, had he fallen asleep on the deck of the Ignis? Looking at his surroundings he found himself on a deserted beach, no at single soul apart from him. Elliot for a moment thought he was having one strange dream but pinching himself proved his initial idea was wrong. Walking around the beach Elliot wondered how did he found himself in the island, his memories about yesterday were fuzzy and he couldn't remember what had happened. His wondering wouldn't last long as he found a washed up chest, on that moment the mess that were his memories of yesterday ordered themselves. Elliot remembered the party when the crew stole two devil fruits from the marines, the panic when the marine caught them amidst the terrible weather by surprise and the fighting amongst the marine and the crew themselves, and lastly him jumping to the ocean with a chest as a pseudo life saver.
Elliot's legs started to tremble after realizing that the crew he had spent a long time with was gone. But now was not the time to cry and do nothing, first he had to find some food to not starve and second to find a way to open the chest, to see if there was anything of value inside. Exploring around the island in the search for any kind of fruit, Elliot found instead wrecked ships of every kind; some almost intact others left as just a pile of scraps, but no one in there or at least not ones that he saw as he felt he was being observed on some parts of the island. In the end Elliot returned with just a steel pipe he found on a shipwreck. His search for food had led to nothing as he didn't want to go into the deep part of the island since he had a big chance of getting lost. Using the steel pipe he destroyed the upper part of the chest and looked at its contents: On the chest there were two devil fruits, one white as sheet and with an oval shape, the other looking more round with its lower half being white while the upper half was red. Normally Elliot would be happy if he had found a treasure so valued like a devil fruit, but how would he sell it or benefit from it if he was stuck in an island. Thinking about how he could escape the island, Elliot fell asleep on the shore, with his head resting against a rock.
