Well I did that with Estelle, (And Basically planned with anyone who orders anything non-alcoholic.), I could probably have him devise a milk drinking contest for those who hate alcohol.
Travis had a plan to host a drinking contest. That would easily increase interaction. (If anyone in this RP actually DRANK!) I think our host just needs to move time and have more events happen. So far the players are controlling the length of time.
While waiting for Estelle's response he spotted...him. He recognized him when he moved in, he works in the "The Other Bar" the one that sounds more like a cathouse than a proper bar. (Then again, Travis isn't above having his bar host such a profession, as long as he got a cut of the profit.) He thought it was best to introduce himself to his rival competitor. It's best for business that he appear as a friendly ally. He reaches for a complementary beer, but decides against it. He had no idea if this man was as friendly as his persona was, or if he was a sleaze like he truly was. So giving him a beer would be a chance for him to say awful things about his bar. (Mostly because he wasn't above doing the exact same thing to awfully named "Golden Tiger".) "Terribly sorry to leave in such a rush. But I have some business to attend to. Here's your star milk." Travis moves an empty glass to Estelle. "Just leave the money in the cup Ta-ta." Travis decided to walk over to the conversation he and the other girl were having. "Pardon me for intruding. But I recall that you said that you were in charge of "The Golden Tiger" and I felt the need to introduce myself to my fellow competitor. Good Day, my name is Travis Rollins, owner of The Tree Sap. I work right across from you." He extended his right hand to Travis, hoping for a shake. He turned to Juliet and extended his left hand as well. "Good Day, I hope you are enjoying the New Years Festival."
So are there three main bars or two? Golden Tiger (Arnold's Bar) The Tree Sap (Travis's Bar) And Keita's Bar?
Hopefully Dahlia comes soon, because Travis is kind of stuck in time trying to give that star milk to her while a bunch of cool stuff is happening.
I've finished my random Shakespeare Fan Fic story. It's the story of a love triangle between Nick Bottom from Midsummer's Night's Dream and his current lover, the Nurse that Sir Aaron killed in Titus Andronicus, and Bottom's former gay lover, Balthasar (The Singing Guy from Much Ado About Nothing).
Travis walked around his bar and whistled for Bob who came scurrying onto the bar table. "Can you get me a glass of milk?" Travis said in a mocking tone. "God, I haven't seen so much pretentious attitudes since I held that Poetry Slam in the Inn." Travis got out a glass and a jug of milk he began to pour the glass to about 3/4ths full when he heard Patchy announcing that people will get shots if they don't help. "Well I've done my work in setting up the beer drinking competition. So I don't have to worry. Travis, wanting to have everyone's defenses lowered, pour the final quarter of the glass with alcohol. "But Patchy seems to have a lot of power over everyone with that stupid syringe." Travis taps his finger on the counter. "A lot of people must have a fear of needles in this town, so they'll respect the doctor because he has access to them. Plus that syringe could help me with some "transactions"." Bob sniffed the milk and began to sneeze. "Oh right." Travis said, noticing Bob "Too strong a smell". Travis reached into his pantry and pulled out a squirter that says "Liquid Star". "Ah, Liquid Star, My best friend. Next to you of course." He says to Bob. Travis begins pouring it into the milk which begins to transform into "Star Milk" (From HM: A Wonderful Life). Bob smells the drink, sits up, and chatters. "Thank you, Good Boy" Travis tosses a piece of cheese toward Bob, to munches it down then scurries to the backroom. Travis picks up the drink, "Looks like Star Milk, smells like Star Milk, tastes like Star Milk, and covers up any ingredients an ingenious bartender like me could possibly add in. This is the best investment I've ever made." Travis closes the pantry door, turns out the lights and walks back outside. Putting on his friendly persona. He walks to Estelle and hands her the drink. "Here you go. I hope it's okay that it's star milk. Star Milk from the finest star cows. The cost is usually 540g, but because it's the new years festival, I'm giving away my non-alcoholic drinks at half price! That'll be 270g, if you please. I apologize for it not being free, but I run a small business, I need to be able to eat something other than complementary peanuts and burgers at "The Tree Sap"."
Iago will forever be known as Patchy to Travis. Also I completely forgot that there were two women that had witch like attires in this RP. So Travis accidentally introduced himself to two people at once, Lol. No need to change anything though. We're all caught up.
Travis, since his writer forget that there are two women in this RP that look like witches, decided to respond to both. He started with the one who wished to be named "Lucy". He had no idea where the library was so he couldn't lead her there, nor did she wish to get drunk at that moment. So he couldn't swipe the gem or coat. So he decided to pass her off to someone else. "Ah, an incredible name. But "Lucy" it is. I'm sorry Lucy, but I've been so focused on my work that I only the few businesses within the center of town. So I think it'd be best if you spoke to Miss "Estelle". But I do hope you visit "The Tree Sap", while we are not offering non-alcoholic bevarages at this event, we do stock in non-alcoholic bevarages. We also are incredibly open to monthly costumes parties." The last line obviously hinting at her outfit. "It's been very nice getting to meet you, and I hope you have an amazing New Years Day. Ta-Ta" He then focused on the woman named "Estelle". A quick glance at outward appearances told Travis the following: 1. This woman is not his taste. 2. She has exquisite clothing that would make a pretty penny to some buyers. 3. From context clues, she's a writer, probably working at the Inn. (Since he had held some writers in his past Inn) 4. Those glasses, hat, and feather pen are probably the most reachable objects of value for him. Especially the feather, it trumped the quills the other pretentious authors that past through his life. His little brain began working on a plan. "Ah, Estelle, a grand name. My mother's name was Estelle." Travis began. "I don't having any milk on me at the moment. But I can easily fix up a glass in "The Tree Sap". I'll only be a few moments." Travis motioned Lucy and Estelle to each other. "While I'm gone, why don't you two introduce yourselves? I think you two have a lot in common. And I don't mean just your unique fashion taste. Ta-ta" He smiled a hearty smile and ran back into "The Tree Sap".
> > Just got back from a basketball game. ( I play in the Pep Band... >.>; ..it pays.. ) So I'll be getting a post up here shortly. > > > > ( I may or may not need someone to go get Sophie because I plan on her forgetting the festival altogether. So ye. :P ) > > depending on how things in the square go, Lucy is going to run to the library and not come out xD Not if Travis has anything to say about. ;)
