Bumping. Been bouncing an idea around in my head. Something along the lines of a sci-fi/fantasy take on the Old West. Monsters instead of horses, guns and technology powered by magic, etc.

The anime I've only really watched and enjoyed is Gurren Lagann watched others though, and I've had friends who love Gundam, and for western mecha I like Titanfall Pacific Rim had good designs tho and some of bulky, boxy, more tanks-on-legs mechs like Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor or Battlefield 2142 and other general video game stuff. Also like some medieval fantasy stuff but- point is, I wouldn't mind bantering on ideas!
