I say we wait the full 7 days, which is more than a respectable amount of tme for us to do so I think, and if everyone is game, we continue by ourselves as Chirpy gave us no warning he was going to be away. Though he may just have lost interest in the site altogether. If something else has happened though, unforeseen circumstances in his life, that's different. Hence waiting the 7 days with him not logging on out of respect for this last possibility.
