Just want to post here to say I'm still in it. I'll be reworking Carmen just a little, but keeping all the major concepts. Sooooo many neat gadgets for him to use eeeeee

I'd also like to reserve Selenite as my gem, though I'm debating Wether to bring her in at the start or keep my original idea for her reveal...
Holy crap. Of course the ONE day I don't check the guild is the day shit hits the fan.

If we do the reboot, I'd like to stick with Carmen. I've got so many things I want to do with him. Part of the reason my muse died is because, yeah, things go really really slow. But if they're going to pick back up again then I'm eager to try and get some of these ideas on paper.

As for gems, I'd still like to lay claim to Selenite, simply because I never actually got to use her. One hell of am entrance planned for her.
@HaltingBlooper Oh man, pre-balance oblivion is easily still one of my favorite games of all times. The beast men look really derp, but mods can easily fix that. All of your skills and Stats actually affected gameplay, and the roleplaying aspect was DEEP.

And yeah, you could do some stupid stuff before the patches and rebalances.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas were similar, but with not quiet as many stats. If you ever get the chance, get fallout 3 GOTY and New Vegas with all its DLC and look into a mod called Tale of Two Wastelands. It basically updates fallout 3 and puts it on new vegas' engine, and let's you seamlessly travel between the two games.
Literally the only thing that kept me from selling fallout 4 a week after I got it was the mods. Having dumped a total of 800-ish hours into new Vegas and 3, I was expecting a good roleplaying game.

What I got was an open world FPS with RPG elements tacked on. I shudder to think of how the next elder scrolls is going to come out. Stats haven't played a big enough part since oblivion, and they move farther and farther away with every new RPG title they release.
Oh god @rocketrobie2 your new icon why

Also, how's everyone doing? Things still stable? No gem invasions ruining your day?
@Spinna If I can carry Carmen over then count me in too. All these ideas I have for his gadgets and machines amped up with gem tech are what keep me coming back, and plague my thoughts with how cool some of them sound.
Aaand Pokemon Sun has consumed me... But only after an hour-long struggle with the e-shop. 'Oh yeah we aren't going to include taxes with the displayed price even though you literally JUST filled out all your postal information so we can calculate taxes. Have fun adding ten more dollars to your account, only two of which will be used!'

How's everyone else doing?
"Yeah, totally, I'd be mortified if something happened." Carmen replied hurriedly, distracted with trying to fish his keys out of his pocket while he jogged toward his rickshaw, at the same time trying to make sure he didn't drop Reggie. He really wasn't used to playing 'hero' like this, but if he got some appreciation for saving the son of one of the most powerful men on the planet, he was damn well going to try. Lucky for him, social grace's antithesis was quick to awaken, and Carmen stopped just long enough to set him down, urgently motioning to his rickshaw.

"Good, welcome back to the real world, hope your dreams weren't as awkward as the real thing." The albino called, jumping into the driver's seat. With speed gained through weeks of practice, Carmen slid into place, flicked the keys into the ignition, revved the engine, and lit off a few of the special effects. A gout of flame shot from the back of the rickshaw, the undercarriage lights flared to full brightness, casting a white glow beneath the jet-black buggy, and the rear passenger doors swung open automatically.

"I'm only gonna say this once; Get in, buckle up, and hold on tight!" Carmen shouted. He turned his attention back to the console of the rickshaw and flicked his mask back into place. After making sure the pipes for more flame had cooled and the emergency smoke screen was primed, Carmen glanced in the rear-view to make sure Maeve and Reggie had done as instructed. Once the two were properly seated, Carmen reached down and flicked the modest sound system to max, revved the finely-tuned sports bike engine between his passengers, and threw the rickshaw into drive, flooring it back towards Mohs Town.

@Raijinslayer @Akayaofthemoon
Okay so I completely forgot I said I was going to reply when I got wasted :| Working on that reply now

Aaaaand posted. Feel a little rusty after such a long break, but I think it went alright. Let me know if there are any issues, kinda assumed Reggie and Maeve get into the rickshaw. At least no one can say Carmen doesn't know how to ride in style.
I'm really, REALLY drunk right now.

My years of roleplay are the only thing that're making me realize I'm making typos at this point. Thank god I can type even while smashed. Expect a Carmen post from me either tonight (and edited when I'm sober) or in the morning when I'm not too drunk to see more than four feet in front of me.
