Scout blushed and got off of Griffith. "You're right, we should eat... I'm pretty sure I could hear your belly growling when I had my head near it." Scout acted as if all of that hugging and affection Scout gave Griffith was normal. He made small talk with his friends while eating and continued to have a good time.

The memory of Griffith mentioning like his hug started to ring in his ears. Could Griffith be into guys too? Straight or not Scout was not going to let the opportunity to hug this sexy kid slide. "You know, if you really enjoyed our few minutes of cuddling, then maybe I could sleep with you tonight," Scout said shyly.

(Had to write this on an iPod today and its so and aggravating so please forgive any mistakes)
When the wasp finally flew away from Griffith's ingenious tactics Scout let out a huge sigh of relief. Scout stared into the eyes of his hero with infinite gratitude and love. "Thank you!" he said with a super delighted voice. Scout glomped Griffith, hugging him tightly. He felt so safe against the tall boy's muscular body. Scout was currently half naked from the swim still and was feeling pretty cold, getting little warmth from the fire since it had to be shrunk in order to cook the fish. Griffith's large body felt warm and safe and Scout couldn't stop hugging him.

He put his head by Griffith's chest and listened to his heart beat while he waited for his own to calm down. His body had taken control of all of his actions, his mind wasn't dwelling on consequences. "You're really brave to be able to handle that wasp like that... I wish I were like that." Scout still wasn't aware that he had been hugging Griffith for longer than what is considered normal.
I just looked up Cicada Killers. Goddamn.

I know right? I especially hate it when I find them holding cicadas because it's like watching a monster eating a smaller monster
Scout had a big grin on his face from Riley's compliment and Cassie's story about her batty grandma. Griffith approached Scout and had also complimented his food. "You guys are way too nice." Griffith was sitting very close to Scout, close enough for Scout to admire him. He always looked to content which complimented his handsome face. His muscle also made Scout want to get up in there and cuddle with him. "Uh, Griffith... Do you want to try some?" Scout ripped off a piece of fish meat and held it outwards. His other hand was on the ground as support as he leaned forward to Griffith.

Something started to tickle Scout's hand, the one on the ground. He glanced down at it and felt a shiver rush down his spine. A big wasp, a cicada killer, was sitting on his hand. He froze in fear with a terrified look on his face.
A small pirate crew has decided to abandon the corrupt world and its government by setting sail to the open blue. They find a beautiful island and create their dream home there. It turns out this land is own by fish men and women. They hate humans and want them off the island. The pirates have claimed their land and will not give it up easily.

A community of peaceful merfolk are living on and under an island that is fruitful and lush. It is paradise. Once they had lived near the humans and were referred to as fish. Some were captured and killed then sold. The merfolk saw the evil of humanity and have hated them since then. One day some humans invade their home and they want it back.

Neither side will kill anyone on the other but they will capture them. Since neither side will kill anyone it's a war to capture the other sides leader. The King of the merfolk or the Captain of the pirates.

Even though the two sides hate each other a few merfolk might have fallen in love with a pirate and vice versa.

I'm all for it. When do you want to get started?

Let's just start right away, it seems that's what everyone else is doing
Hey Zendrelax, want Scout and Griffith to be in a relationship?
"Thank you Cassandra." Scout said with a bright smile. Her words made him feel a lot better, like he wasn't the only person in the world who acted as he did. Her words all encouraged him to stop turning as red as a beat around the boys. It's much better to not risk things, he doesn't need to impress the boys, chances are no, none of them are gay. He didn't need to change his behavior to try and befriend them. He could be as silly and goofy with them as he is with the girls.

"This is what we need to do..." Scout had dug some sticks into the ground and made a makeshift grill out of sticks. He put the fish on the grill which was wrapped in tin foil and covered it in salt and pepper. "Just wait for the eyes to fade to grey and it's ready. Good job by the way, these are some decent sized fish." He prepared the rest of the fish and served them all on a paper plate. "I don't know if everyone's ready to eat yet but we should at least tell them it's ready." Scout had no clue how to get to the people who walked into the woods. "I hope they are back before dark."
With a big smile Scout got up and said, "Sorry everyone, I'm better now!" He gave a thumbs up. Even if ruining a couple letters brought him down there was no reason to bring everyone else down with him. After the van situation was done and over with Scout checked the condition of the letters and found them to be already dry and the dirt was easily swept off. "Oh..." was all he said. He thanked Riley for her comfort and decided to start cooking dinner. He started to notice his group of friends were starting to get along more than normal friends do. Why am I so bad at talking to boys... Why am I so weak... It's not like I could ever date one of the boys here anyways, I'm pretty sure they're all straight. The girls would be better off with them anyways. While in this train of thought he smelled the food start to burn. Well, I guess this one is mine then.

What he was cooking was some of the canned food Riley had brought. He was hoping someone would have fished by now but with the swimming and the van incident his friends just never got to it. He knew how to fish himself, he even knew how to clean a fish. His love for animals prevents him from being able to go through the process. First he'd have to jam a hook in a fishes lips, then he'd have to murder it, after that he'd have to get a knife and spill its gut into the lake. Cooking the fish from there is simple enough for him though. Just cook it on the fire until its eyes turn grey. Add some butter for flavor. Maybe some salt and pepper as well. Scout started drooling.
Scout felt better from Griffiths assurance that everything was fine. The van had then caught his eye and he swam to shore. He had heard everyone apologize but still added another, "So very sorry this happened" to the group. He couldn't be much of a help with getting the van unstuck but he could try talking to the postman. "While they do this I can deliver the some of these by foot if you'd like! Let me see-" He grabbed some envelopes from the postman's satchel. "I know where this street is, I'll go right aw- AHH!" Scout was still wet and had ruined the paper envelopes by getting them wet. In panic he had dropped the letters and had gotten them dirty.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry-" The apologies continued for about 3 minutes before he sat on the ground in the fetal position contemplating his life. "I am scum..." he said depressed. "I should have been born as an unimportant flea on a dogs butt! I'm such a careless failure!" Scout started to imagine what could have been on those letters.
Dear daughter,
I've not much time left, I ask that you visit me one more time before I go. Also I have my will in here which will solve your families money troubles. And yes you should keep the baby.
Love your Mother

P.S. This letter is so important, I don't know what would happen if you didn't get it

This scenario seemed unlikely but Scout was too paranoid so he thought of the worst possible situation.
