(Anyone wondering as to why I was rude was because he wrote 3 paragraphs explaining the problem of guns and I agree now I had not thought that far in advanced but he said he was dropping out. Seeing as to how the IC hasn't started and a problem like that could easily be changed he still decided to quit. I take that as an insult because the only reason I see him quiting for is that he has little faith in my intelligence for the future of this RP. If you quiting just like that you don't deserve info on how ill fix the problem, besides he quit I don't see why he'd care if I told him)

Bio: Not able to take the corrupt ways of the government any longer Blythe started a crew of strong men and woman and offered everyone in his village the chance to sail away to paradise. Only 43 of the 1,500 villagers agreed to go because the fear of dying from the hands of the dictator for traitorous acts overrided the captains charisma. After finding paradise the captain took charge into making sure everyone was happy. He's skilled with a sword and has decent physical strength.

Bio: Drake is the ships navigator. He helped the crew find paradise. He hated the dictator because he had bought his sister as a sex slave. He tried to get her back but he gave her away to someone on a different island when he was finished with her. Not wanting to live in the corrupt kingdom any longer he ran away with the pirates. He studied navigation at the age 13 because that was the day he decided he wanted to run away. He has a knife as a weapon but is a bit squeamish so he only uses it to cut things like ropes.

Swords and guns, crossbows too I guess but I don't know why'd you choose that over a gun. A bit more advanced than our pirate era, so guns will have more than one shot.

"M-my intentions are pretty innocent! I'm not trying to get in your pants or anything... I'm going to make some S'mores." Scout stabbed about 12 marshmallows through a sharpened stick. The marshmallows were colorful at first but soon had a nice brown tint to them. He put each one inside of some graham crackers and chocolate. The others probably thought that Scout was doing what he usually does and made something for everyone, not this time. Scout scarfed down one S'more at a time savoring the flavor of each for only 10 seconds. After he finished he had burped and said a quiet and polite, "Excuse me." His face was covered in chocolate and marshmallow.
With another 6 marshmallows over the fire Scout started to notice how great everyone was getting along. This was a really good day. Scout couldn't think of a single thing that could ruin it. He smiled started to prepare some more S'mores. In the distance a wolf's howl could be heard. Scout liked wolves. They were fluffy blood thirsty puppies. Scout considered all dogs puppies no matter their size, just like he called all cats kitties.

The world has become corrupted by the government. A mad dictator has taken over the one and only continent this world has. He has made ridiculous demands as well as inhumane punishments. Rebels who are referred to as pirates have fled the continent in search for an island far away that they can call paradise. Some pirates are cruel and will kill residents of islands so that they can take it over. Others, like the group our story focuses on, are only looking for a place to call home.
An island lush with fruits, fresh water, flowers, herbs, and even animals is the home of a a civilization of merfolk. These merfolk are half human and half aquatic animal. Some have the lower half of a clown fish, while others have the lower half of an octopus. Some merfolk are as big as a whale while others are poisonous and deadly. Every merman and mermaid have the ability to transform either into their fish form or human form (But they will always keep their size). Sometimes their fish traits will carry onto their human form such as shark merfolk having sharp teeth. These fish people live in harmony with each other. They love one another and would never hurt each other. A species they do hate though is humans. Since the rule of the mad dictator mermaids have been captured either to be put on display or to fulfill a man's sexual fantasy. Mermen will either have the same done for them or be forced to work as a slave (This mostly happens to the bigger ones). One day a group of humans known as pirates had invaded their land. They had already set up fortifications and housing. Merfolk are a peaceful species and don't truly want the humans dead, but if they must resort to fighting then that is what they shall do.
The Phoenix pirates have finally found the island of their dreams. It had everything they could ever need. Finally they could live up to their pirate name and be reborn from the ashes of their previous life at the continent. Their crew had about 7 members but they also had 43 passengers who had agreed to escape with the pirates. It wasn't long before the crew had set up living quarters for everyone. It mostly consisted of huts fit for 1-2 people but it worked as a shelter for now. The pirates had yet to discover the other residents of the island, and there was no way they were going to give up this island without a fight.
So this RP is going to pick up with the pirates exploring the island and discovering the merfolk. A couple rules to point out:
1. To tell the difference between a pirates perspective and merfolk's perspective you will need to use different colors.

Any shade of blue and red is fine, also if you hate these two collors and have a better idea tell me pls
2. Romance is definitely aloud but keep your undies and bras on please
3. No killing other players, you can kill npc's but only with my permission
