I'm Brink an average guy from the United Kingdom. I have been on the guild for a long time now, some say too long.

I've not been active in a long time but every so often I return to build a character or two in my spare time. I've very rarely taken on an actual RP but it's not out of the question. In the past I've done a bit of everything, Sci-fi, Fantasy, slice of life from Casual to Advanced to 1x1.

Currently working on a character for a Bleach fandom RP, a bit of a weak spot for me as it's nostalgic. But if you like me or like my writing feel free to send through a PM and ask questions or pitch me on ideas you may have.

@Yvain I'm reluctant to think of relationship ideas until I see your CS so I'll hold off for now. We can sort something out later on, I'm happy to wait for my IC berth.
I'll wait till Yvain posts my Captain, I'll probably be doing something with him/her to begin with.
I've updates Shota's appearance and personality. I'll be looking to flesh out his powers section next before I re-hash his Zanpakuto spirit a little.

@Yvain I know you haven't finished your CS yet but if you want to include something about his/her relationship with Shiro that's fine.
I'm in the process of re-writing my CS. The fundamentals should stay the same but I want to flesh him out. His Zanpakuto in terms of its spirit and relationship and design will change. His powers and abilities probably will not, but if I do make edits to what he can do I'll notify a GM.

I'm also thinking of renaming him to Shiro, as it has a more childish tone to it.
I have edited my Shikai abilities, not much has changed but it's maybe worth a re-read. If I design Shikai techniques or my Bankai for future use would I be able to PM them to a GM for approval?

Shinigami Male 13 5'3" 125lbs Third Division Lieutenant

◆ A P P E A R A N C E
Much to Shota's displeasure his features have often been compared to that of a Cherub. His peach lips sit below a short nose which in turn is flanked by two plush cheeks. The two wide eyes that sit below his rough blonde hair, glow a vibrant hue of amber that serves as the only distraction from a pair of large ears that protrude outwards from his face. Having seemingly matured sooner than the rest of his features, Shota thoroughly dislikes them.
His tiny five-foot-three stature places Shota as one of the smallest Shinigami in the Seireitei. He may be young but those whom underestimate him quickly find the error of their ways. Shota has proven to be unnaturally strong for one so small and is able to hold his own against any man. This has propelled his love of Hakuda and the results of his diligent training have made the expected impact on his body.

As a uniform, Shota wears the typical Shihakushō. Tailored specifically for him his lieutenants badge is placed firmly across his right arm, brandishing the third division insignia. However due to his small stature Shota likes to alter his uniform to make himself, and his rank, more recognizable. He does this by wearing a white Obi sash that holds his Zanpakuto. The bright orange wrap of his sword compliments his overall aesthetic, with its guard taking the shape of a eight pointed star.
In his leisure time Shota enjoys wearing a charcoal-grey kimono, he finds it infinitely more comfortable than his uniform and will take any opportunity he can to wear it. Unfortunately for the small Shinigami, a person of his rank rarely has the chance for recreation, something that often flusters the boy bringing about the intense glare of his deep orange reiatsu.

◆ P E R S O N A L I T Y
Often described as a cantankerous soul, there are few people whom have truly gotten to know Shota. In part this is because he is a recent addition to the Gotei thirteen, however it is almost assuredly because he is not an easy person to befriend.
Shota's most prominent trait is his temperament. Easily irritated he will not hesitate to berate anyone that infuriates him. He doesn't take criticism very well and will often advise those that comment on his many mistakes to mind their own business. This anger will often change peoples perception of him and if it wasn't for his rank he would undoubtedly be branded as a brat or miscreant. It is that anger that prevents people from understanding the young lieutenant, worn like a rough skin it wards away those that he fears wont stick around and give him some form of continuity. His untimely death, his troubled upbringing in Rukongai and his quick rise through the Gotei thirteen have seen his surroundings and the people Shota has interacted with change with uncomfortable regularity. This fear has manifested as a bad temper to prevent people from getting to know Shota in case they later walk out of his life.
Another prominent trait Shota holds is his curiosity. Perhaps another manifestation of his distrust of others, he will gladly invade peoples personal space or belongings if he feels something is being kept from him. This has proven to be one of the major motivations Shota has in battle as he dislikes the thought of people holding back against him, either because they don't see him as a threat or his due to youth. He tries to push people to their limit, forcing them to reveal all of their tricks and proving he is not to be underestimated.

Shota's history comes to light once more in his outlook on life. He has a eschew view on death, attributed to his early demise as a child and he can come across as very nihilistic. In dangerous situations he will often comment that everything dies eventually, a view he uses as an excuse to be brave and confront opponents that are more powerful than he. These views give Shota an appreciation of the power and position that he holds, whilst he may be quick to anger and be generally abrasive he has never been seen as ignorant to those whom know him, perhaps the one part of his personality that garners praise.
Despite all his misgivings Shota is still very much a child. Whilst he would never admit it, he does wish for friends and place to belong. He has a rough exterior but those that have managed to look past it Shota holds close to his heart, hoping that they can become the family that he has never really had.

◆ H I S T O R Y
Shota doesn't remember his life before the Soul society and his new beginnings in Rukongai, although it is obvious that he died as a child. He was assigned to district forty-seven and whilst he made an everlasting impact on its residents, his stay was not a long one. When he first arrived in the soul society Shota was arrogant. He believed that because he was in heaven he could have whatever he wanted, that he could command people to do his bidding. His temper was infamous in his early life, when people laughed or simply ignored his commands he would become infuriated and often throw stones or other such objects until he was heard.
It wasn't until he tried to command a particularly notorious criminal that Shota was humbled and earned his hatred of arrogance today. He was left beaten and badly bruised in an alleyway he had never seen before. Fortunately for him an old lady was passing by and helped the young Shota pick himself up. To this day any display of arrogance reminds Shots of his early days, of his impudence and the consequences of such, a time he would rather forget.

Shota was invited to stay with the old lady. She explained that she was the wife of a monk, that she lived in a temple when she was alive. Shota would request her stories almost nightly and through their often heated debates Shota grew intelligent. He didn't realize the significance when he asked his adopted grandmother to find him some food. All she could do is stare at him, a perplexed look across her face. It was explained that to crave food, to become hungry means that you have spiritual pressure, that the energy inside oneself needs replenishment. Shota joked that he must be powerful then because he was starving. Little did he know, he wasn't wrong.

It was on one particularly sunny day that Shota was wreaking havoc in his district. The only food stall in Rukongai refused to sell his wears to a child whom most likely had fake money, it was an accusation Shota did not like. As he was destroying the stall and rapidly eating all of its contents, the vendor sat huddled in a corner, he was approached by a Shinigami. Stories of a small child with the temperament of a bull had reached the Seireitei, a boy whom almost seemed to glow when angry and one whom would eat anything and everything in sight. It was on that day that he was inducted into the academy.

He quickly rose to prominence among his peers, outshining the other initiates in almost every aspect. As the Shinigami began to mumble and whisper to one another Shota got the impression that he was quite different than the rest. His temperament was a problem, so said the teachers, but he was to graduate early. A place was found for him in the third division, yet another beginning. Shota has been on the fast track through his time in the soul society, fortunately he is the type of person able to keep up with such change, but he is still a child, and he hopes he has found his home. At least, for a while.

◆ R E L A T I O N S H I P S
Shota is a reletively new addition to the Gotei 13. He came through the academy in little over a year and was immediately afforded a seated position in squad three. He didn't have time to make many friends before he started to rise through the ranks in the division either. He currently sits as the Lieutenant and has yet to learn about his captain in any great detail.

◆ P O W E R S
Hakuda - Master
Most likely due to the style of his Zanpakuto, Shota has become incredibly skilled in hand-to-hand combat. More often than not he is willing to fight without drawing his sword at all.

Zanjutsu - Expert
Whilst his specialty is Hakuda Shota has not shied away from his Swordplay. He has not yet reached the heights of a captain or even some of the other lieutenants but Shota is easily capable of holding his own during a sword fight.

Kido - Expert
Similarly Shota is a proficient Kido user, the idea of using it in a fight rarely occurs to him but it has been known to happen from time to time. He almost exclusively uses Bakudo to try and limit movement and protect himself from other forms of Kido.

Hoho - Expert
Whilst not the fastest, Shota is very much a practitioner of the Flash Step. He can keep up with a fast opponents but will soon need to change the dynamic of the fight should he be severely outmatched.

High Spiritual Power -
Shota has a high pool of reiatsu. He is a Lieutenant but being known as a prodigy it is widely accepted that he has the potential for much more. Out of all the Shinigami of his rank Shota could most likely outmatch them in this category, however he is still outmatched by the majority of the captains.

Enhanced Strength -
Born from his love of Hakuda Shota has shown a surprising amount of strength, especially for one so young. He is capable of throwing adult men around and has no problem fighting high level opponents up close.

Musaboru Fundo is a gigantic colossus of fire and metal. He can dwarf anyone, let alone Shotas minute frame. His mouth is filled with white-hot teeth and his four arms spread across the ground to help support his mass. His Zanpakuto talks in a booming, intimidating voice often lowering his head as if he is about to attack.
Shota however shows no reaction to this, he will merely stand by as he looks his Zanpakuto spirit dead in the eye. Intimidation has never worked on Shota, least of all from his own spirit.

Musaboru Fundo is a spirit of immense power and is waiting for the day Shota matures and is able to wield his true power. He has come to the realization that he is yet to master his Zanpakutos Shikai state, not only is his body not yet mature enough to wield his spirits true power. He believes it has hidden techniques that he is yet to discover.

◆ I N N E R W O R L D
The world in which Musaboru Fundo exists is portrayed as a cavernous outcrop. Forced into the small space, the climate inside the cave is stifling. It is here, underneath a ceiling of sharp jagged rocks, that Shota often comes face to face with his roaring spirit.
There is a small chimney-like hole in the roof of the cave, a hole that reveals a bright surface that Shota has always wondered about. He has only been able to guess that once his powers come to full fruition will his spirit be able to free itself from the cave and the surface will be revealed to Shota.

◆ S H I K A I A P P E A R A N C E
To release his Zanpakuto Shota sheaths it and stands still. Calling its name a shock-wave explodes from his body and continues to emanate as he is consumed in a cloud of dust, when he reemerges he is holding his released Zanpakuto.
Musaboru Fundo takes the form of a pair of Cestus. A pair of giant bronze fists that hang by his sides as he moves around. With these Shota is able to utilize his mastery of Hakuda and becomes a formidable hand to hand combatant. His punches increase in power to such a degree that he is able to catapult opponents into the distance when he strikes. He is not very fast in his Shikai but he more than makes up for it with his devious tactics, opting to throw debris and disguise his approach when he attacks.

◆ S H I K A I A B I L I T I E S
Musaboru Fundo is a devastating fire-type Zanpakuto. With it Shota is able to compress and vibrate his reiatsu to such a degree that it can melt or incinerate solid objects. He can fire this reiatsu from either fist, the open holes serving almost like cannons. Shota has learnt that his Shikai has different states or modes of attacks, he is yet to master it but he is known to have learnt three of these modes.

払拭の一撃 - Banishing Stroke - Fusshoku no ichigeki
Banishing stroke is simply Musaboru Fundos passive ability of being able to rapidly incinerate anything Shota punches. When he attacks any solid object within the line of fire will glow a bright white as its mass is violently vibrated. This attack can effect anything within five feet of Shota and will punch a hole roughly three feet across in the target. It can burn flesh, incinerate wood and even melt metal.

不死の炎 - Undying Flames - Fushinohonō
His second Shikai state allows Shota to vibrate the air itself causing the oxygen his reiatsu hits to quickly burn. With this attack Shota can emit sudden blasts of fire stretching as far as thirty feet in any direction. Fushinohonō cannot instantly melt metal as his other techniques can, however the fire that his punches produce will continue to burn by feeding off of Shotas Reiatsu. If a target is hit and catches fire it will continue to burn regardless of any attempts to extinguish it.
However, due to the extra drain of Shotas reiatsu, he cannot use this Shikai state for extended periods of time. The longest he has been able to use it was three hours.

降る星 - Falling Star - Furu Hoshi
Being the most dangerous state Shota has learnt, he is only willing to use this mode as a last resort. Protruding from the two holes in his fists Shota can ignite two small flames. Visibly growing in intensity, these two flames will begin to audibly screech like twin blowtorches as the vast amount of reiatsu Shota pours into them is compacted into their minute size.
Punching in this state shall instantly unleash all the energy condensed into the flame. A beam of energy erupts from Shotas attack erasing anything in front of him from existence. The collateral damage of his attacks is incredibly high in this state, as the flames are unleashed they will create infernos capable of burning a city block to the ground.
The amount of reiatsu Shota focuses into Furu Hoshi is often too much for his immature body to stand. He can reliably throw two punches in this state, one with each fist, but he would be near unconscious should he decide to do so.

@Phobos Thank you. I move it to the character tab now?
@Yvain I see. In that case yes, it would be an interesting dynamic. One that would work well I feel.
@Yvain Is the roster on the OP wrong? it says Zardoric has third division Captain reserved. It also says Ciphra has a Veteran Captain reserved but, there are no Captain places left.
Well, I've finished. I saw that alterations to the CS were allowed if all the relevant information was there. Also I hate writing character histories and I don't think mine is particularly good, hopefully enough to be accepted though.
