The waitress smiled. “Sure thing,” She said in a sultry voice, pressing a hidden button beneath the counter. “Mr. Cupid? There are some kids here that would like to meet with you. A Mr. Kelling and a Miss Porter.” She giggled at the word kid. There came a single reply.
“Send them up.”
Liam and Kate would feel a warm feeling run over them, somewhat easing any worries they may have. The waitress pointed at a flight of stairs across the room guarded by a rather big and rather angry looking bouncer. The bouncer nodded at the waitress. “Just go right up those stairs and take the third door on the left.” Liam and Kate would comply, and the bouncer would step out of the way to allow them access. Once reaching the top of the stairs and going further down the hallway, the sounds from the floor below would slowly devolve into nothing more than a dull din. The third door on the left would already be open. Once entering, Liam and Kate would see Cupid sitting across from them at a lavish oaken desk full of scattered papers and old tomes written in foreign languages. "Please," He would say, gesturing to a pair of leather chairs, a rapturous smile on his face. "Be seated."
Mattias wasted no time leaving the club, bolting out at speeds no human could possibly match. He struggled to maintain control as coarse hair began to erupt over his body, the night being the only thing concealing him from the eyes of passerby. The scent, the scent! Mattias stopped in the middle of an alleyway, lighting a cigarette. The canine like features plaguing his body would slowly fade away with each puff. There was no reason to panic anymore, the target was right here in the city.
