After the events narrated in her backstory, Yalnela will be employed by Beelzebub, Supreme Chancellor of the Stygian Council, acting as his eyes, ears, and, when necessary, dagger; the demon lord happens to have a particularly delicate mission for his agent.

Laef too shall be sent on a mission by her superior, in her case Darda'il, High Gatekeeper of Am Dhaegar; something which was thought lost has appeared once again. Now, it is to vanish once and for all.

Very well! I will send a message to warmaiden, and if she doesn't answer in 24 hours, we'll start.

Considering we have three very different characters, I'm pretty sure that the starting situation will consist of the three characters being sent on the same mission by three separate beings. More details will follow soon.

Magic is fine, within certain limits: as long as you don't get too overpowered with spells, I'm all for it. About your backstory, two things: first of all, please re-read it and fix a few typos and punctuation errors. Also, about the spirit mentioned in the second paragraph, please, add some more information about it: is it a Phantom or something else? What is it doing that deep in the Catacombs? Why does it want to help your character?

Apart from these, your character is approved.

If you mean active "powers", no, other than the fact that angels can fly and that phantoms, being immaterial, can pass through walls and other solid objects.

You say angels are playable? How would they work for a demon lord then?

The demon lord mission is simply a broad set-up, which will be modified accordingly to what kind of character are submitted. So for example, an angel character might be sent to stop the other players.

The campaign will open with the characters being hired as mercenaries by a demon lord for a mission. That's all I want to reveal right now.

As an Old One it seems like you'd be playing by yourself since no one else can talk to you.

Many Old Ones learn the demonic speech in order to be able to communicate with other inhabitants of Hell.
