I think I'll make a marksman to contrast Ahabs' character.A Winchester rifle and a Colt Walker .44

Good call.
Both noted.
OOC

I haven't run any RP in some time, so I thought I'd try to get back into it by trying out an idea I've been thinking about for some time.

The year is 1896, Paradise, a town in Arizona couldn't fit its name any less, has been plagued by all sorts of unholy beings, it started many years ago when reports of people wandering aimlessly around the graveyards began to spring up, soon enough when people went to check on what was happening at the grave sites, they disappeared.
Later on more strange reports came, reports of cattle being found torn in two, or simply having their blood completely drained, reports of strange women chanting and performing rituals in the forest, so on and so forth until things became too much...
The mayor of Paradise, along with the town preacher, have sent out a plea for anyone fit to wield a gun to come to paradise to help with their problem, with the promise of payment, they're sure plenty of fortune seekers would be willing to put themselves in harms way to assist.

Pretty simple concept, but there will be room for plenty of action and character development. Your character finds out about Paradise' need for hired guns, and they come to get a reward.
Setting will be your typical late old west style Eastwood esque locale, I'm willing to allow some freedom with what your character can do, and what they use, this RP does have supernatural elements after all.
I'll take into consideration any ideas that people have.

Character Sheet:
Name:
Age:
Race:
Appearance:
Gender:
Personality:
Biography:
Equipment:
Abilities/Disadvantages:

Creatures(so far):
Witches - Practitioners of black magic, most are fairly harmless, sticking to their covens and not bothering normal people, but some use their power for unspeakable evil. Potentially high threat.
Fed Vampires - These types of vampires are usually found in European castles, but some have migrated to richer parts of the US, there are a few in Paradise but they usually stick to themselves, drinking animal blood, but they are willing to harm people for richer blood, if gone unchecked they might feel brave enough to attack townspeople. Low threat
Starved Vampires - These poor souls have been starved of blood for too long, their natural insticts have begun to take over, and their forms are more animalistic, they still retain some intelligence but they will attack anything with blood on sight. High threat
Zombies - Dead humans who have been reanimated by dark magic, they hunger for human flesh and will do anything to obtain it, most just shamble around their grave sites, but when they get together it can result in a horde forming, getting rid of a zombie horde can be extremely dangerous and difficult. Medium threat
Werewolves - Humans who have been bitten by another werewolf, werewolves can walk around in the days as normal humans, but during full moons they change into monstrous creatures capable of ripping a man in two. Very high threat
Spirits - Souls of the dead who linger around the earth, they cannot be removed by physical force, most aren't aware of humans, but an angry spirit can be extremely dangerous. Medium threat
Succubi - Demonic entity that prays on a persons sexual appetite, once a succubus has chosen prey they will in essence take the soul of their victim and damn them to eternal servitude. High threat

Wait, what that a commercial for ramen?
One time I drank a bunch of Bud Light Platinum's with some friends, eventually I puked a ton.
Now I can't drink any beer, the taste makes me sick almost immediately, I take hard liquor better than beer.

Is there going to be an ooc post every time a new turn starts?

"...like me." Jerry sat by himself on the big empty bench in the middle of the room, a conversation or two broke out but it was still fairly quiet, he let out a small sigh and let his head touch the table, his long partially knotted up and dirty hair splayed out on the table like the head of a mop that had been stained with mud. He twisted his neck one way *crack* and then the other *crack*, lifting his head up again he began to run his tongue in where his missing tooth used to be, some loud squeaks let out.

Jerry rested his head on one of his hands and tapped his fingers on the table with the other, he had never been this stagnant before, he always had somewhere to go or something to steal, this was torture for him, all he could do was observe. Scanning around the room he took note of everyone he assumed was like him. From left to right he watched looking for any outstanding features on any one of his fellow captives. One of them had some burn marks, Jerry assumed he must dabble with fire, another one was a real tall guy wearing a mask over his mouth. "God damned Hannibal Lecter over here." he joked to himself under his breath, he continued scanning until his vision came to the entrance to the leisure room, there was a girl standing there, she must have been in her early twenties or late teens, she had blood leaking from her face. Jerry's eyes widened as he saw the sight, black hair and black eyes, his thoughts immediately turned towards something out of a Japanese horror movie, but he pulled himself back into reality.
He got up from the bench tentatively, "uh.."he muttered as he slowly walked towards the girl, his hands were now out of his pockets, he put them up in a gesture of safety "You okay, lady?" he spoke slightly nervously.

The sun shone brightly through the leisure room window, the blinds had been twisted to the point where someone could look out at the distance if they truly wanted to. Jerry sat impatiently next to the window staring out, longing to get back outside it seemed so beautiful compared to his current drab environment, his usual joking demeanor had been all but snuffed out by his total sobriety, he figured on the bright side being in here would help him get clean, but that was an extremely thin silver lining to this situation.

Jerry pressed his hand to the cold wall of the room underneath the window and gave it a sturdy push, "If I could just..." He spoke softly concentrating on the wall. "Ngh!" he gave a growl as his all his concentration did nothing, he raised both his hands and stared at his palms "Why is it not working?" he gave a sharp frown, on the outside he could melt through a door handle just by coughing on it, but here... nothing.

"No point in sulking..." he spoke, shoving his hands into the pockets of his surprisingly comfortable asylum garb. Jerry stood up from the bench next to window and looked around for some time, there were a few people in the room, some of them were dribbling and talking to themselves while others just rocked back and forth, but there were a few who just didn't seem all that...crazy. Jerry began to walk around the room, hands still in his pockets, he would occasionally stop and talk to a few of his fellow inmates, the ones that could still speak that is.

Jerry walked over to the medicine counter, a nurse was quietly putting pills into small paper cups to hand out at some point, and she hadn't noticed Jerry approaching. He tried to lift himself on his tip-toes to get a good look around the back room with all the pills. "You got any tequila back there?" he spoke abruptly to the nurse, who looked up slightly startled, and then just annoyed. "No, Gerald, we don't keep alcohol here, how many times have I told you this?" she spoke going back to her work. Jerry bit his upper lip slightly and nodded "It's Jerry, not Gerald, I don't care what your stupid file says." he turned around indignantly and began to walk back towards the middle of the room.

He noticed there were a few people who definitely seemed out of place, people who sat quietly and just drew pictures, or wrote, or read books, they stuck out from the rest of the clearly insane crowd. "They must be like me..." Jerry spoke to himself quietly "...I wonder what they can do?". With that thought Jerry took a seat back in the middle of the room, continuing to assess everyone in the room he deemed different from the crowd.
Name: Jerry Jones aka "Gutrot"

Age: 22

Gender:Male

Appearance: Jerry has long unkempt straight brown hair that usually covers his face matched with his unkempt scraggly goatee, he has pale white skin, and an average build while perhaps being on the more unhealthy side due to his love of various types of alcohol, he has plenty of body hair that contributes to his "I don't care" look. His skin is very light. Jerry has a set of slightly crooked yellow teeth, he's also missing one of his front molars and he's very fond of showing people using a signature wide mouthed grin. He has the letters "FOAD" tattooed on his right hand knuckles in faded home-done style lettering.
His outfits would usually involve a torn band t-shirt and a pair of extremely worn jeans, never anything even slightly expensive.

Personality: Nihilism plays a large part in Jerry's personality, he abides by his own morals and places no value in the law. He likes to consider himself somewhat of a comedian, and he only takes directly dire situations seriously, otherwise he'll make sure to fool around quite a bit, he's most certainly not an eloquent person, but he loves to talk and make friends with people. Deep down, Jerry yearns for companionship more than anything, he tries to bury his loneliness with his humor and substances, but he has never truly been entirely happy.

Superpower: Acid Manipulation Jerry can expel minor amounts of acid through the pores in his skin for a direct burn on a target, or he can create a concentrated cloud of acid through his mouth by accessing his own stomach acid as a conduit.

Biography: Jerry was born to a poor family that lived in a trailer park outside of a major city, during Jerry's youth he would spend most school days ditching due his drug addicted parents never paying any attention to his schooling, growing up in such an environment led him to committing several acts of petty crime, robbing stores, etc...
Jerry had never had any sort of respect for the law and he would show that often, once he found out he could access his abilities he used them to their full potential, being able to melt through metal came in very handy when trying to rob a jewelry store in the night time.
Eventually all his crimes caught up with him though, once he was apprehended he gave no struggle to the police, with a smile he told them the truth of what happened during all his robberies, little did he know that his judge wouldn't exactly believe that he used acidic powers to rob places, he was promptly declared insane and sent off to an asylum

Other: He has alcoholism and not being able to drink takes a toll on his temper.

Would anyone object to me (or one of the GMs, if they'd prefer) making a thread on the CS forum for people to post accepted characters? This seems like a large RP and I'd like to easily reference other peoples' characters. uwu
