"MY PARENTS ARE DEEEEEEEEEEEED REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Fu'kin hell don't make me laugh when I'm drinking hot chocolate
"MY PARENTS ARE DEEEEEEEEEEEED REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
So if we can hold our horses while I swiftly try to do that,
ABSTRACTION ⫻ Banshee. A sensitivity to impending death and a raw, loud, destructive scream.
@pokemad1 Mind if I later make an altered version of the 'magic tree' that instead gives fruits that boost one's magical capacities?
<Snipped quote by pokemad1>
My dude is the god of speech and his heroes are in a holy order that's supposed to help mortals create civilizations, so my reasoning was that I'd give them speech before someone else tried to beat me to the point. I'm hording prestige so that the heroes can spend it to create technological advances etc.
The heroes are off doing stuff so they probably won't interact with the centaur for a while. But I'm going to say that Promus could just step away from Regulus and grant the centaur speech for 0 MP because that's his portfolio.
The golem was never to follow the social order. It would travel from place to place, creating art and innovating where it saw need. Should it be demanded to submit to an authority, it would refuse, under any circumstances. It would aid those who would rebel against their social order, should it see good in the rebel. All of these were its instructions. She reached into her book again, and then again.
From my reading, I took it to mean that they can naturally commune with nature and "lesser" beasts, but lack the capacity to ever talk to one another or other sapient beings.
I had figured that this ability was naturally inferior to real speech and that you had given them this to avoid stepping on my toes. But in any case, giving them an actual language wouldn't revoke this ability to understand animals etc.
A-okay to give centaurs true speech and some basic things?
It might take me a post or two to get around to it, but I have a lot of prestige on my heroes to work with. What direction did you want to take the centaurs? Was there any specific inspiration that you had in mind for their eventual culture?
@pokemad1 yeah, 0.5/4 rather than 1.5/4
@pokemad1 I think the only problem was that you weren't adding the Miracle value to your total. Either way, you've spent two and a half Might, so you're now at level 2 and half a Might point towards level 3 already.
@Kho That's his Might remaining, not his level counter, as far as I can tell. It's accurate if so.
Please double-check your level-up counters, there might be some confusion going on regarding Miracles. A Miracle is nothing more or less than 0.25 Might, so spending two Miracles means ticking up your creation counter by 0.5. You can level up with any combination of Might and Miracle actions so long as the total still reaches the target number.
