Touche. Your abuse is much worse though.

It's a symptom of a greater evil. It's petty, but it's behind the same reasoning nobody bitches when a killer gets away because he bribed the judge, or an engineer steals money from public works and the roads remain unpaved.

Whats really sad though, is the reason nobody protests is because when they did, nobody listened.

You can afford college, you can afford full price for a goddamn cheeseburger.

The whole point of subsidizing transportation for college students(along with other social benefits) is to make college affordable and open for the masses. Not something to bury yourself in debt with for the next 10 years of your life after you graduate, nor something exclusive to the rich, or even the middle class. Tuition is in fact, free of charge within public institutions here.

Hence why charging full price is abuse, plain and simple, and completely invalidates one of the few good, minor things to come out of the government.
