Evangeline, Matthew
@Squirrel98This young man was certainly a bundle of energy. It might be hard to keep up with.
“You’re certainly full of compliments, aren’t you? Hehe, thanks.” As the food was set in front of her, she realized immediately that it was not what she ordered. Before she could say anything, the chef was stolen away by Jenna. Well, alright then. What did even end up getting? It may not have been what she ordered, but it was also
free. Eggplant? With a slice of toast and some kind of herb and olives. She’d wanted breakfast, but this seemed more like a fancy lunch or dinner.
..He got all this from ‘egg toast'?
The acoustic analysis construct picked up Jenna’s voice and she glared at the construct before reaching up to it and removing two small pieces with a swift motion, one into either hand. They became her fork and knife and she began to cut into her meal.
“That little thing is for hearing the sound quality of a space,” she took a bite when Matthew drew her attention to his.. hair art.
“Is your hair part of your magic?” The way he shaped it reminded her of maker magic, but she knew better than that. Some kind of hair magic, or perhaps a side effect of whatever magic he used. It
was interesting how he seemed to have grown his hair at will. The harp was cute, too.
Aah, and now he’s making my image.. out of his hair. It’s normal to not be entirely flattered, right?Trinity took another bite of her meal. It wasn’t what she had wanted, but it was good, none-the-less. Mm, the pepper flakes gave it a little spice. It was very good, but not quite what she wanted.
“Hm,” she gazed at her meal for a moment, thoughtfully. The minstrel looked over her shoulder at the woman who had found this place with Matthew. She was still hungry? Evangeline, she had heard before? She thought she caught that name. She smooshed her audio device into a transparent, glowing golden cloche and placed it over her plate before rising from the bar,
“excuse me.”She approached the other woman's table with a smile, setting the plate down for her inspection,
“hey there. Evangeline, right? You're still hungry? If you don't mind that I took a couple bites, this isn't really what I meant to order. It’s good, but I think I'm going to try again.""I don’t know what to call the dish I meant for, though.. it’s bread, soaked in custard and fried. I didn't expect to get eggplant..”
