Well, do you mean chronologically, terms of production, or what? The Transformers Prime cartoon finished production before FOC.
Well, I wouldn't say we've only seen a few Minicons- the most recent cartoon in the Aligned continuity family (Robots In Disguise 2017) has two Mini-Cons on the main roster, a rather lengthy arc about a different group of mini-cons, and establishes that Soundwave's tapes are mini-cons. As for Combiners, well, that's the subject of the most recent storyline- the Stunticons as Menasor vs. Team Bee's new combiner form.
"...Right, ignoring that first one..."

Takeshi coughs and continues.

"Well, there are certain common themes among the sightings. People always say the Fangires look like stained glass, that the Ganma wear hoodies, that the worms- despite, according to the urban legends, being alien invaders- resemble Earth's insects. Sort of how, in the Americas, Sasquatch sightings are always large hairy apes, or in Scotland the Loch Ness Monster always has a long, serpentine neck, these descriptions have become rather entwined with the alleged monster sightings... and, well, when people want me to design an Invess for Gururu Monsters, I get a lot of complaints if it doesn't look 'right.' But... the monsters are king of the selling point for Helheim Green and Mirror World White, so attention to detail is important."

Rocky speaks up, rising from his chair.

"Well, while we wait for more questions, we'll be showing new players how Kamen Rider Chronicle works."

With that, he takes out a neon green and black game cartridge- the standard Kamen Rider Chronicle Gashat- and presses the button. The Gashat vanishes, and around his waist appears a large, pink device...

ENTER THE GAME! PRE-PRE-PREPARE TO RIDE!

...into which he inserts two more Gashats- both stark white. He gives a slight grin as he presses both the buttons.

"Let's get Dangerous."

TADDLE LEGACY! DANGEROUS ZOMBIE!

ROUSE UP YOUR CHIVALRY, FORGE A NEW HISTORY! TADDLE LEGACY! I GOTCHA! DANGER! DANGER! DEATH THE CRISIS! DANGEROUS ZOMBIE!

Swishing his cape over his shoulder, Rocky gestures to the camera dramatically.

"Kamen Rider Grind, Level 50! By combining Dangerous Zombie with Taddle Legacy, I can access incredible defensive powers."

"And look like a total tryhard jumping straight to level 50 for a tech demo." Junpei chimes in.

"...That's beside the point. Now, using the Gamer Driver, we can select the stage we want to play..."

"Wait a sec, lemme..." Junpei and Takeshi activate their Chronicle Gashat as well, slotting in their own Gashats.

Mighty Action X! Juju Burger!

Mighty Jump! Mighty Kick! Mighty, Mighty Action X! I gotcha! Buuuuurgeeeeeer! Buuuuurgeeeeeer! Juju Burger!

You're my best friend! Gotta catch 'em all! Gururu Monsters! I gotcha! Advent vent vent Final Vent! Mirror Labyrinth Ryukiiiiii!

Junpei has a burger-shaped robot fall on his head and disassemble- shortly before it attaches its parts to him. Takeshi, meanwhile, adjusts a backpack over his back, checks his reddish bodysuit, and motions as if adjusting the visor over his goggles, even if it's just for effect. Junpei gives a quick thumbs up and a spin on his new roller skates, courtesy of the robot hamburger.

"Alright! Kamen Rider Slasher, Action-Burger, level 5! Normally, a game generates powerups when it's activated. Instead, Juju Burger generates toppings I can collect to serve up Juju Burgers that increase the stats of my allies. It's worth noting that a lot of Gashats rely on these little helper robots- like the Burger Gamer you just saw- to transform! Sorry, but you can't wear two Gamers at once."

"And as Kamen Rider Horde Level 3, I can command monsters I capture in quests with Gururu Monsters... and thanks to Mirror Labyrinth Ryuki, give a very nice statboost to any Mirror Monsters I happen to be controlling. Now, as you were saying Rocky?"

"Right. Let's start this simple. Just press this button, and..."

As Rocky pushes the button at his waist, a number of holographic title screens for games spin by as the belt calls out "STAGE SELECT!". As it spins around, he finally reaches out and touches one of them- a darkened fortress lit only by spotlights scanning the outer walls. The fortress stretches high into the distance, and as lightning cracks the sky on the screen, the stage's music starts playing.

BANG BANG SHOOTING!

Rocky picks up the camera as pixels erupt from the screen, and soon the room in which they were having the stream is replaced by a loading bay where soldiers armed with machine guns patrol beneath the glare of floodlights. The three press up against the back of a truck.

"Those of you who've played Bang Bang Shooting will recognize this- it's the leadup to the final stage, storming Revol's fortress and rescuing the President's daughter."

Overhead, an intercom crackles, and a gruff voice addresses the soldiers as they go about their rounds, guns at the ready.

"This is Commander Revol! Armed intruders may have infiltrated our defenses! All soldier units, be prepared to engage if necessary!"

Character Type - Canon Inspired
Name - Uther Samson Alger
Alias - US Ace, The Roadbuster
Age - 21
Social Class - Downtown
Alignment - Anti-hero
Archetype - Enhanced Human
Powers -
Uther himself has very little going for him. His skull and other bones (including his teeth) are ridiculously durable, and his reflexes and reaction times are far and above the human norm. He also has an outrageous amount of endurance, able to go for a few days without sleep.

On the other hand, we have The Roadbuster. The Roadbuster is Uther's supercar, a custom number with several incredible features that make Uther's job as a courier possible. Under the hood is a custom-built engine powered by an Arc Reactor. The only computers on board are completely removed from most of the more important systems to prevent hacking. The car itself has a Vibranium chassis and suspension, allowing it to absorb the bumps from the road... and any fenderbenders, gunfights, or daring jumps Uther gets into. Thankfully, the windows are made of high-tech glass that's highly reflective- lasers tend to bounce right off. The Roadbuster is completely airtight, with oxygen scrubbers, allowing it to operate underwater for hours at a time or survive encounters with toxic gasses.

Additional systems include:
Rotating wheelwells- The Roadbuster is able to move sideways for a quick burst- enough to dodge rubble or traffic.
Gecko-Grip tires- a coating that allows The Roadbuster to drive on walls
Railway Riders- a deployable set of disks that allow The Roadbuster to drive on old subway tracks- perfect for evading pursuit.
Headlights- that double as nonlethal laser cannons. For the purpose of getting rid of debris in the road and deterring sewer mutants.
Electronic Paint Job- The Roadbuster's paint is a specialized coating that can be changed between a few preset configurations- including midnight blue and pitch plack for stealth purposes.
Scramble Plate- the license plate is able to scramble its numbers, giving false results from databases.

Skills - Even without his cybernetic enhancements, Uther is a master wheelman, equally at home behind the wheel of a sedan and a big rig.
Despite his less-than-legal career, Uther's actually highly educated as an engineer. He builds, modifies, and repairs The Roadbuster himself.
He's a reliable marksman, but nothing to write home about.
Weaknesses - Uther's cybernetics don't have an internal power source- they convert the calories in his body for energy. As such, he has to eat a lot more than a normal human.
Arch Enemy - The mystery dude who blew up his lab.
Appearance -
BRIEF Bio -
Uther and his brother Charles Simon Archer were once engineers working for Roxxon's automotive division. They were tasked with the development of new engines, and were particularly interested in the Arc Reactor that powered much of Stark Industries' technology. In order to help reverse engineer one, the fine folks at Roxxon gave them hard drives their agents "acquired" from various older corporations. While this should have pinged as something sketchy, Uther and Charles were a bit busy trying to do their damn jobs- the world of experimental tech is a cutthroat business after all, full of betrayal and nasty surprises.

Well, throats were cut one night when Uther lost the coin toss and had to go get takeout while they worked overnight searching through the hard drives. He barely opened the door before the explosion went off, blowing him out into the street- and nearly gutting the interior of the lab. Passing out from his horrific injuries, he awoke the next day in the hospital- with several replaced bones and repaired nerves. It seemed that someone was none to happy with the eco-friendly direction of their research and had planted explosives in one of the hard drives. To top it off, Charles was missing- but since the camera was fried, there wasn't enough evidence- or money at stake- for the Public Eye to intervene.

That night, Uther staggered to the scene of the crime, and dug through the rubble. Always physically fit, he managed to move aside enough broken rock to find some things- a cassette tape and a USB stick. Though one off the devices was ludicrously outdated, the other was usable- and Uther was completely unprepared for what he found. There was video footage of a shadowy figure leaving the lab earlier in the day... as well as tampering with one of the hard drives.

This evidence was enough for Uther. But he didn't trust the Public Eye, or Roxxon, to follow up on this information. He was struck by a thought: Iron Man was a superhero with armor made with human engineering. Well, Uther didn't know enough about armor to become a new Iron Man... but he could become a knight errant, seeking his brother's killer on a steed of chrome. He pooled his finances and every bit of material he could scrounge from Roxxon and its labs, and began building. He shut himself away from the world, toiling in a garage foundry to create a car from scratch- and what a car it was. Detroit Vibranium. Ultraglass made from sand tempered in a nuclear furnace. All of Uther's knowledge regarding cars- combined with some very interesting tech specs from a hard drive from Stark Industries- went into building a vehicle that put any before it to shame. Wiping his computers, he set out to find this shadowy figure and avenge the death of his brother... but he has to figure out who in the underworld might want them gone.

Those in the know can be sure of one thing: if you need someone or something to get somewhere fast and safe, and if you can afford his rates, you might just be able to hire a man known only as "US Ace."

Notes - The glove compartment of the Roadbuster contains two things that Uther has deemed utterly necessary for his work- a rather large revolver, and a collection of discs of classical music- such as The Scorpions, Saint Pepsi, and Lazerhawk.

I'll do the sample post later- it's nearly 2 AM.

I'm working on straightening out the Turbo and Speed decks, but I need to figure out what kind of Speed Spells are around to deal with ritual monsters.
Name: Daniel Black
Sex: Male
Age: 25

Appearance: If using a description.

Duel Disk: It's a typical Duel Disk, but the round part is painted to resemble a grinning skull.
Duel Runner: A dirtbike he can drive with great skill.

Speed Duel Skill:
DEATH THE CRISIS- Once per turn, if you control a zombie-type Ritual monster, you can shuffle 2 banished Zombie-type monsters or Ritual spells into your deck.
Ace Monster: Revendread Dangerous
Deck Master Ability: If a zombie type monster would be destroyed, you can send one card from the top of your deck to your graveyard. If you do, it is not destroyed. Once per duel: shuffle your graveyard into your deck.

Personality: Dan appears to be a polite and humble man, both with a sense of sympathy and compassion. He's a jolly fellow, quick to laugh. Despite this, he's quite quick to anger- especially when people question his artistic decisions. He's always under a lot of stress- Pegasus is a tough man to work with. His non-Duel Monsters hobbies include BMX and motorycles... but his greatest passion is trashy zombie movies.

History: Dan Black is a card designer at Industrial Illusions- not only does he help to create the game, but he loves playing it as well. He's been working on Duel Monsters since the days of Duelist Kingdom. At first, Special Summoning was something that happened maybe once, twice a duel, that could turn the tide of the entire match. Ritual summons symbolized arcane forces offering powerful monsters in exchange for tribute. Fusions were a way to get out more powerful monsters using your weaker ones. Granted, the game was still a mess in its early phases, but it had a lot of fun to it- just ask the participants in the duelist kingdom. They seemed to love Dan's work on programming Newtonian physics into the engine of the holographic platforms. But, that was removed for the sake of "streamlining" the game. Confusing, but understandable.

Dan kept working on Duel Monsters, making sure his beloved Zombie type monsters got plenty of generic support- something that makes them a bit more viable than, say, Reptiles or Rocks. The zombie archetypes appreciate the support as well. For a few years, they tried introducing new concepts- Union, Spirit, and Gemini monsters. Well, nobody liked Spirit or Gemini monsters, but certain Union monsters saw play from folks like Seto Kaiba. Fusion monsters- alternate summoning conditions like XYZ Tank Dragon Cannon, fusion-based archetypes like Elemental HEROs and Predaplants, and monsters with generic materials. What he didn't understand was, after all the experimentation with Fusion and Effect monsters, Pegasus decided to roll out Synchros. Okay, sure, they messed up the game for a while, but the metagame adapted, and they were a refinement of the existing Fusion concept- Small monsters into something big. And people could still run decks that didn't rely on Synchro's 100%. But then, Pegasus forced them to introduce three new mechanics at once- Pendulum, XYZ, and Links. Now, Dan wasn't averse to introducing new cards or mechanics- but three at once was a bit much for the metagame.

Well, he was okay with the introduction of the new cards... until he came to a horrible realization. Someone had made the Link monsters the same blue as Ritual monsters... and forgot to make any zombie ones. Well, that wouldn't stand, and he needed to protect the image of his beloved zombies. Thankfully, he had a pretty good record in low-stakes duel tournaments between various offices near the California branch of Industrial Illusions- and got an invitation to the grand opening of Kaiba World. Using his Vendread deck, he hopes to eternally cement the glory of both Ritual monsters and Zombies!

I switched the Releaser for a Contract With The Abyss. Might look into a Zombie variant of Ritual Sanctuary as a custom card down the line.

So yeah, it's a WIP at the moment, but I figured I might as well post something a bit less... self-congratulatory than some of the stuff above. I put a cliff's notes of the backstory, but I'm going to fill in the blanks there later.
