Olive Darcy

Location: Pre-time skip - The Caldwell Penthouse
Interacting with: Jennifer Flint [@Carlsburg]

Previous to the party Ava had and Olive had a great time perusing new york, shopping, and hanging around the dream festival. It was a lovely day and a great start to the school semester. Olive really felt like this school would be a good fit for them and all looked bright. Though they were nervous for the party in the larger scale it seemed like a good opportunity to make friends with freshman and upperclassmen alike. "worst comes to worst" they thought "we'll have to leave. That isn't so bad.".

By the time the other frehsman showed up the pair were already dressed for the party and waiting. Olive had on a dress that they'd just purchased earlier.

The party room was alive with music and dancing figures. It was clearly a party meant for older people.
As the other freshman drifted off Olive stayed by Jimmy. She would've stayed with their roommate but the girl had disappeared off into the crowd. Not knowing anyone else it seemed smarter to just stick close to their ride home.

Not long after they arrived a teal hair person approached Jimmy, a wide smile across her face. Awkwardly Olive waited to the side while the Girl hugged him until she heard the distinct dialect of an honest English accent. Most people in Europe were travelers, at least that's what Olive figured. They had plenty of fond memories of family trips all over the country.

Grinning Olive gave a small excited wave at the teal hair person. "Hi" they chirped, "This sure is a big party."

Defense Against the Dark Arts: Professor Quinton Bellfree

Hufflepuff and Griffondor
Professor Bellfree hurries past the CoMC class pointing back toward the castle as he passed. The class heads back toward the castle in a ragged line. Just as Bellfree gets to the edge of the forest several mountain trolls lumber out. They've noticed Bellfree and as trolls are habit to do they attack. Bellfree seems to be a complete duntz. Not only would a wizard be incredibly out matched but he isn't even using proper attack spells. All he's managing to do is dodge their enormous punches and irritate them. Things do not look good for him.

Oliver Rivers

@Ceta de Cloyes@TheHangedMan@josephb
Waving the smoke out of his face Oliver gave up on the work, he'd do it that evening. Standing up he peered around. Everyone was was doing the spell so, not wanting to be left out, he copied one of the other students who'd seemed to already have gotten the hang of the spell. it wasn't really his type of spell, easy, but not really useful.

Mikes said something from over by the window, his words garbled by the class's commotion. Whatever it was seemed pretty important.

As he approached the window he could see what Mike was talking about. "Shouldn't we go help him?" Oliver questioned, torn between the rules to stay in class and the teachers well being.

Potions: Professor Albert Cunningham

Ravenclaw and Slytherin
@RumikoOhara@Draconequis@Always@The Elvenqueen
Cunningham looked up from his brew at the mention of his name. To have a student finish so quickly was a rarity but seeing as it was his star pupil Melanie, he wasn't off put. He'd been hoping that she'd be the one to receive the invigoration Draught,though of course if another student made a better potion he'd be fair.

Holding a finger up he signaled to the girl that he'd be a moment. His own potion was nearly at its peak intensity and would need to be attended to for a few more minuets. In the time it took the professor to finish the drought and bottle it more of the class had finished.
"Alright class, we've only got ten minuets left. If i hand you a rat that means that you are to give it a dose of you're blood replenishing potion. If not you need to take a vial of your potion and leave it on my desk with you name."

After his short speech he flicked his wand toward the cage of rats, levitating them behind him. He gives a rat to Melanie, Megan, Alyssa, and several other students, all with potions brewed more or less to the directions.
@RumikoOhara
:0 I hope the class thing isn't to boring... I tried to have interesting things in both

At any rate as soon as potions people make a post about finishing their potions I'll move us on to quidditch try outs or something

@The Elvenqueen
That is really refreshing to hear (T v T) I'm glad, hopefully the above made it clear but you could go ahead and finish your potion. I think it's pretty.much quality over quantity at this point
The white room lay baron for hours, no sound escaping from behind any of the doors. Like any child Camilla soon became bored, it is not in childrens' nature to be patient.

At first she stilted her boredom by counting the things she'd gotten from the gleaming city. A dress for an empress. A golden headband guided with bees and flowers. A gold and emerald ring. All seemed frivolous now that she was alone. For a little while she spun the ring on its side. But the ring was lopsided and quickly fell over each time, the weight of the jewel pulling it down. Putting the ring back on she sighed and looked around once again.

The other white doors had not moved, nor had either of the arch ways.

Putting the ring back on and her headband. She began braiding her hair, and then put it in a bun. It was an odd hairstyle to her, though she didn't dislike it. It was new, and she enjoyed her hair being out of her face for once. Now with nothing else to do she stood from the ground and wandered toward the doors she'd not come from. tugging held no results, and no matter the force applied to the doors they would not budge, not even her own. The next more obvious exits where the archways.

Golden writing graced the top of each arch, high above the young girls head and beyond her comprehension. The first arch way led up, the bustle of the city faintly floating down. It was bright and promising. It would almost certainly led back to the city, away from the horrors. The second was darker, black stones lay strewn across the floor, thickening as the hallway went on. They glowed red like coal, and in fact that is what they were. Dull metal brambles stretched across the hall, the thorns as uninviting as the hot coals.

"Adam?" the little girl whispers "are you here?" She waits for a moment. "Adam, Can you help me?"
Oliver Rivers

@Ceta de Cloyes@TheHangedMan@josephb
Choosing to finish summer work over DADA stuff was an easy choice. Now that he was back at school it all seemed a lot easier, or perhaps just more pressing to do. Shrugging at Mikes comment he turned back to his work. If Bellfree did come back he could do DADA then.

midway through his second paragraph of divinations summer-work he overheard one of the griffondors, his name was Elliot, talking about Bellfree. It was kind of ironic to here it considering Bellfree had been a Griffondor but none the less Oliver couldn't help but clear up his friend's misunderstanding.

"He might not be able to teach but he said once that he got all 'N's on his newts, McKelly probably just wants him to keep the Trolls or whatever's in the Forbidden forest away." Turning back around he returned to his work. It didn't last long though as Elliot preformed the assigned spell, filling the room with a thick dark fog.

Curious about the smoke Oliver peered back. His expression was a mix of astonishment and irritation.
"That was the same spell as on the train," he said to himself more than to anyone else.

Defense Against the Dark Arts: Professor Quinton Bellfree

Hufflepuff and Griffondor
If you look out the window you can see him jogging toward the forbidden forest, his dark cloak billowing behind him. Something is rustling the trees a short way into the forest while a crowd of first years and the care of magical creatures class looks on.

Potions: Professor Albert Cunningham

Ravenclaw and Slytherin
@RumikoOhara@Draconequis@Always@The Elvenqueen

Cunningham is pretty impresed with a few of the students and tries to give some of the students who are having a harder time some tips. Mostly he hangs around his own cauldron, ensuring that the prize potion turns out right.
Jams spent most of the rest of the evening in the ships engine room and hanging over the edge of the ship examining barnacles. She hated barnacles, they were nasty and impossible to get rid of (Jam jar fact: Just put salt or vinegar on them, they'll fall off). Luckily the ship had very few, like three. The marines didn't screw around, they knew barnacles sucked. Finally the little bunny girl curled up in the kitchen after a midnight snack and fell asleep.

Morning held all the hustle and bustle that any normal person hates. It was foggy for one, anyone knows that mink, especially those of the rabbit variety, are off put when they can't see very far. The rough waters and creaking of wood all around didn't boad much better for Jams than the fog. To top it all off some random duffus decided screaming was a fun idea, the invisible dimwit continued on to describe some danger or something. She was eating at that point so whatever he said was lost to her.

Breaking free of the fog was nice but the clown was not expected. Jams wasn't one to be frightened off by some nut, really she wished she could give him a piece of her mind about screaming like he did but the villain was no where in sight.

Jams had a bad incling about the island itself. She never liked circuses as a kid; clowns had freaked her out and she didn't like sweets all that much either. The idea of a circus to freak someone out wasn't chill with her either. Those idiots couldn't even spell "circus to freak". Needless to say, she couldn't wait for one of them to start a fight, this time she'd jump in.

@Infichi
Just as she finished the carrot she'd started during the circus speech the hunky fish man announced breakfast. He was like a gift sent down from the heavens, a true present to the filthy earth; the way he just, cooked all the food. She was over there in a few simple leaps, sitting this time, and piling every kind of non-meat item onto her plate. "Wowie! darlin' you sure pulled a miracle! This food is perfect!!!" the mink exclaimed, more or less in Chirashi's direction. At the very least it was clear that she was talking to the chef, not the little bird boy. As soon as the words were out she started devouring what she'd piled on her plate.

@RumikoOhara
