Are Medusa's body hairs actually just tiny snakes?

Bio

I'm a sucker for romance, sci fi, fantasy and just about any modern city with a twist like monster hunting or super powers. Been writing for years, I didn't learn how to read till I was 12 so the moment I got the hang of it, I could not stop. Filling journals with stories one after the other, my younger sister eventually got me into role playing and it created a monster. I will play with you all day if you reply, post for post and will give you as much detail as I can.

This is Arena, she's a creature known as a Serthis. My own design she pretty much looks like that aside from having 4 fingered hands and scales on some of her features, with another set of actual wings on her back. Serthis were a very proud race with their cities far out of reach from anyone but they're own kind. Extremely skilled warriors of the sky with a set of four wings so they could actually travel the world.

Other species, elves mainly grew very envious of having the ability of flight. Once they realized that the Serthis were hiding in cities that were very much like their own though, they began to hunt, capture and sell off the Serthis to use them in order to get into the cities. Breaking out a war between the races that caused mass damages to both sides.

Arena is a known warrior from the war. A noble who had taken her clan and turned them into a group that could take down a army. Others calling her the last flight. Proud, skilled and was captured from her last battle that ended the war between elves and Serthis. And in a mock of victory sold her as a slave for years, making her do whatever they pleased.

I was thinking it would be cool if we did a story where it starts off with Annora being put up for auction again. You're character sees this and decides to buy her. Weather its the new owner who helps her or another servant, I'll leave up to you though.
--

This world is not just Serthis and elves. Humans, stayer, centaurs, dwarves and other classic fantasy races are open for you to build. Being a elf is not mandatory, they were just the ones who caught Arena and put her in slavery.

So, a little about me.
I'm a 20 year old with twisted hands who will rp till her fingers lock up. If you are not someone who likes having their partner post almost immediately every day, than I guess I'm not the one for you. Usually posting 2-3 paragraphs and try to be as detailed as I can so you guys have more to work with.
And a side not, there is nothing that I shy from. I guess I'm not bothered by sex or gore, just so long as they have a purpose that will serve the story.
If that's not your kind of thing though, and you're not interested, than I totally understand.
Guess you got a biter friend! Cause the, slave being nursed back to health, story is a interesting topic that I have not had yet. I actually have a few characters that were for auction in their lore cause of they're spices. Be really cool to try this in a fantasy setting.

Something was wrong...

Nevermore skidded to a stop, her hands reaching out before her to grab whatever fabric lay in front. Clutching what was hopefully her new companion's shirt. Her head tilting down to the ground while her parted lips began to gain the taste of gun powder. It stung her nose, made her bite her tongue to get the sensation away.
There was so much chaos a few moments ago. The ringing shots of fire erupting in the crowds like a war zone. The screams of civilians and the trampling feet, with Dullahan's great called barrelling over the chaotic orchestra. It was all something she could use, something she could follow. Yet as they grew near, the music stopped, like a snap of ones fingers, everything froze. "Something ended our good fortune, our friends shall be silenced on the marrow if we keep moving...."

There was only one way for things to grow this quiet this fast. The police had them pinned, that was the only way to get a vigilant to grow silent. To become useless, they needed to find a way out, and they needed to do it fast. Her grip on the cane tightening in her gloved hand, she opened the book once more. The creation floating before her while the pages flipped through like a wave, far too fast for anyone near to make out the intricate dots on each section. "Tis a problem that we face, though you spoke before. To one far away, you can do it now, yes?"

Quickly she moved back, slipping into an allyway and creating cover so she couldn't be spotted. Dullahan was still in there, she could still hear the heart beat of the great beast who was so quick to come to aid. "Are you safe....?" Her words that of a whisper that were snatched away in the wind. The humm of her companion causing a smile to stretch across her features. Dullahan was no fool, she knew when to fall back but now was not the time. Bullets were never something the beast was shy of, they healed in moments, so that means it really was cops she was dealing with. "Can you hold out?" Again she was greeted with the same humm, yes, she still had aid on the inside. She was honestly shocked that the humans haven't opened fire on her yet, did it not register that she didn't have a head?

--
Dullahan herself kept looking at the humans around her. A group with weapons pointed her way, the horse simply pointed it's neck down as though it were simply grazing, a snort escaping the beast while her tail flicked from side to side in annoyance. Muscles tensing, she waited for Aurora, waiting for the words to slip into the creature's mind before she looked back up again. There were two that Aurora wanted, two that needed to leave alive.
Right, these two helped others. And these two would keep Aurora alive. She needed that, turning her neck to the one with the helmant only to swing it to the one with the bandanna. She stomped her hoof, trying to gain their attention. She needed more, she needed Aurora to help, she needed Aurora to get out alive.

Interested, so long as it's in PMs. Sounds like it can be fun.

Hello there friends, Close Enough here and I'm looking for a partner. Starting off with myself, I am a 20 year old student who has been writing non stop since she learned at age 13. (I know, I was a slow learner) but I have been role playing for about 6 years now at an almost obsessional level.

Anyway, now on to the good stuff. I am a huge romance fan, and my favourite pairing is one that I have seen NONE of in the interest checks. I wanted a tale of a reaper, one of the members of death itself, finding someone that for someone reason won't pass on, even after they have been killed.
After restoring the body so the soul would not be trapped, the reaper has decided to watch over this person only to find that his/her situation has caused some very unwanted attention.

I have done this story once, but the person who I was rping with had left, and I have been wanting to do this again ever since. So please, tell me what you think and if you would like to be the reaper or the human, I have a character for both. This would also take place in the PMs.

You still interested in RP?

Nevermore just listened, her head tilted downward as the shots rang from the building, bouncing off the walls in such an annoying sensation. "My friend...." her words soft she began to feel the twing of what Dullahan was doing, still on the heels of the variants they found. "Become the guardian of those in need..."
She was actually surprised to feel the responding humm in her veins, the clicking paws and the bray that bounded through her skull. Right, there was that at least.

Clicking her tounge she nodded when Angel asked if she needed help. They needed to go and go now. "I require nothing, come." Faux was already flapping his wings at the ready, her cane tapped to the ground, outstretched as she waited till open air fell to the object. Her bird's talons digging into her shoulders before taking to the skies and lifting her to the next rooftop. It was not the most graceful landing, her leg giving out she rolled before catching herself. Faux landing at her side and ruffling it's feathers in annoyance."Hurry or be left!"
She felt better on that roof, the bang of the gunshots vibrated beneath her feet, she could hear the screams and taste the gunpowder from bullets, the iron and sweat danced on her tongue and assaulted her nose. Here she could get a better feel of the place, find out where Dullahan is and get these people out.

Bringing out the book on her side, she opened to the leather mark before petting the bird that took it's place back on her shoulder. Words urgent yet careful as she felt them come to her. "Disperse my friend." Without a sound the bird vanished, turning into wisps of black smoke that lingered in the air for only a moment.
She could hear the sounds of running footsteps, kicking and tripping over rubble as the crowed reared in excitement, those had to be the hostages. Relief flooding over the woman she waited for her ally to join her. "Two allies, more enimes below, hostages are free to do as they wish. If we travel to the backs we may end the fiends escape."

---
Dullahan was quick to respond to the command, the dog staying close to Overclock's heels began to turn tail. Rushing to the hostages as they scrambled to leave the chaos of the bank. They were too frightened to even thank their vigilantes, only run. Far too focused on their task to notice the guns that were aimed in their direction as the other criminals were fighting to get out.
Turning to her side, paws began to change to hooves, a bray of a haunting melody echoing through the room as a headless beast acted as a shield for those escaping. Bullets embedding themselves in her side, yet her muscles only twitched as crimson fell down her sides and dripped to the floor like paint. "Become the guardian of those in need"

Tossing it's neck in the elegant arch of a prized mare, she began to rear. A bray echoing through the place causing the hostages to run faster, only to bring some of the gunmen's attention to her as she began to move. Her wounds would heal when she's dispersed, being a walking cover was no large loss from her.
